The epitome of indolence.

Eating bon-bons.

Bon bons

But that's what they call their chocolates at Jacques Torres: bon-bons.

Unlike dark chocolate, people with dark eyes:

...have absolutely no authority. They'd have more credibility with lighter eyes.

Entertainers, singers etc...those people can have dark eyes. But when someone is placing themself in a position of power and authority.....it's better to have lighter eye color.

Right, Dr. Helen ???

Love, Maxine

I'm not gonna take advice from someone with dark eyes. Sorry.

The Eyes of Dr. Helen: Maybe she could wear colored contacts?

No no no.... the "Brown-eyed Girl" was a love-interest, not an authority figure.

Interestingly, both Van Morrison, and Mick Jagger married blue-eyed girls!

As a matter of fact, if you listen to the words to that song, he's talking about taking the "Brown-eyed girl" down by the well, or in back of the stadium.....where nobody can see.

It's almost like he's too embarrassed to be seen with a girl having that color eyes.

I'm talking about who do you take advice from, and who you consider to be an Authority Figure.....not necessarily who you have romantic adventures with.

Why, yes, thank you, I would love some bon bons! Your treat? Better still!

Brown on brown, the mood is brown,
Except for cup of orange;
I'd like to wind this poem down
But nothing rhymes with orange.

Peggy: Would you like to nibble on my bon bons Al!
Al: I would rather hang myself, quick Bud get me a noose.
Bud: Sorry I don’t go to Columbia.

Another typo hd. It's Willie Wonka.
Willie Wanker is what they called Cyrus in boarding school, not the chocaltier

Ohio has not the bon bon but the yum yum. Brownie with ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, cherry. None of that effete crap.

Nuts optional.

A couple years ago, Consumer Reports ranked the Jacques Torres bon bons as a CR Best Buy. I tried them and found the flavors off-putting/heavy/out-of-place. Their #1 ranking did affect Godiva. The next year Godiva launched the retooled ballotin and their platinum collection full of interesting flavors. Those I like. So, in a way, thanks Jacques Torres.

I believe I told you about two years ago that Jaques Torres had the best chocholate, back when you were touting Green and Blacks. Glad to see you have been converted.

DTL .... not comparable items. This were chocolates with caramel centers and so forth. Green & Black is a milk chocolate bar that I really love. A plain chocolate bar. I haven't tried the equivalent at Jacques Torres, and when did I say one word about the quality of the chocolates in the picture? I didn't! Frankly, they didn't leap out as especially great to me as chocolates. But this is not a type of food item I care much about. I've walked by this place and even into it many times without even wanting to buy anything. I'm a fan of plain milk chocolate.
