"American Idol" -- the results.
Well, I was surprised. I thought sure Lisa would go, but if not Lisa, then Bucky. Yet it was Kevin Corvais who came out on the bottom. I can only think that Simon's devious trick of embracing him proved to be the kiss of death.

Ruth Anne - I just saw last week's show tonight. For Chris, the arrangement was definitely all Chilis. But, vocally I can see how he felt he was mixing it up. Anthony Kiedis doesn't sing all the runs - he has a really steady voice.
Kevin had to go.
It's nothing compared to what just happened to Chef though. Revoltingly awesome.

Manilow sucked all the life out of the show tonight. Ryan did not get the time to work his magic, teasing us with suspense tactics! I cry foul!
The only way to watch the results show (or Idol generally) is on TiVo -- it took about five minutes, and our brief national nightmare is over.
Kevin coulda stayed one more week if he had just sassed Simon again. I would have advised him to get in touch with his inner smartass and give Simon lip at every opportunity.
