That picture in the last post was taken at my favorite Asheville restaurant 12 Bones. Go there! You can place your order for ribs — maybe blueberry and chipotle — with 2 sides — maybe collard greens and mashed sweet potatoes — and cornbread:
Take your number and fill your giant cup with iced tea, then find a table. It's especially nice outside, at the picnic tables under a steel roof:
And here's James again, with his brother Michael Sasso, who both said they'd love to see their pictures on my blog:

A Biergarten ambiance.
That kid in red is the spitting image of me when I was a kid. Or should I say that young gentleman?
Is that meade and rlc in the middle picture?
There's no greater compliment than being of interest to a small child.

I was wondering the same thing and I think it is at least RLC. The shirt sleeve can be seen in the bottom picture and it is rolled up the same and looks like the same pattern as the guy walking in the middle picture.
The possible RLC from the middle picture is looking at and heading toward the table that the possible Meade is at. The possible Meade has the same build and short grey hair as we have seen before--so it is probably Meade.

A small child.
In the middle a muddle.
An old lady.
Speaking of look-alikes . . .
The bored waitress looks a lot like Althouse would look, were she a bored waitress.
Blueberry ribs?
Blueberry ribs?
Strictly for the unserious, dilettantish, just passing through rib eater.
Sounds serious like a heart-attack, ricpic.
Should you find yourself in Sikeston, MO, be sure to stop at Lambert's Cafe, Home of Throwed Rolls.
*chuckle*
My kinda place; BBQ'd pig parts, beer & dessert served anytime and the beer is not watered down.
So would anyone like to take a guess as to exactly what that is on top of the single lone table in the center of Althouse's composition?

They usually put an extra napkin dispenser outside to keep you from walking too far.
How did you like the metal plates?
Now you know why some of us live in the south! We eat like this all the time
I gawked Danny Aiello at a table outside in Hoboken, around 5pm.
I don't think it was ice tea in his glass though ;)
I like the way that lady appears to be day dreaming.
on top of the single lone table
It looks like it just pooped a salt shaker.
Nothing says NC mountains like stylish, 60cm napkin dispensers from Europe.
A Seattle Mariners hat?
You got to be from there to like that team. meaning they are very very far from home.
There is something about the Mariners that.. Its speculation on my part but maybe.. I better stop right there.
Speaking of, has anybody seen Titus?
