Shot today. I won a 20 pound turkey. It's thawing now because the freezer is full of frozen chicken and quart containers of potato soup. Did I shoot well? No, but because it was raining half the really good shots didn't show up.

I am in South Florida right now, and damn we are having some weather. It's not a hurricane, but my goodness the wind and the rain and the lightning. The storm stretches from Tallahassee to Miami. Which makes me wonder if it was weather that took that jet down.

It’s my theory that there’s a reason lefties have labeled conservatives (and now Israelis) as Fascists. Nothing to do with ideology but with the simple fact that Fascism lost. Not just lost, but was defeated and condemned by everyone. There’s a psychological advantage to labeling your opponent as a loser. Call him a Fascist and
1. you’ve put him on the wrong side of history
2. cast yourself as the Allies
3. ruled out any compromise
I have a real problem with this headline: 𝗟𝗲𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗨𝗦 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Is it because he's Roman Catholic? No, I'm fine with that. Is it because he's a known anti=Trumper? No, he's entitled to that opinion, even though it's Democrats throwing pro-lifers into jail for peacefully protesting outside abortion clinics. Is it because he's Head of State for an internationally recognized, including by the US, foreign nation?
Uh, yes. Absolutely. Apparently US law allows foreign heads of state and other foreign elected officials to vote in the United States as long as they haven't renounced their US citizenship. WTF?

There is more to 'Bambi Gambino' (the proper nouns), than the rich imagery of "Get Shorty" (1995). Something paradoxical that is apparently deeper in our common psyche, than mere alliteration. Take it from me, I'm no expert.

I'm waiting for the NTSB to weigh in on the Florida crash, but I will note that two Lear jets ave crashed mysteriously, in January 2025 and again in January 2026. The first was a medevac flight that took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, and the second was a charter flight in India.
