Seriously, it's not even a good reason. Like, say, "I oppose drinking because drunken people and the fact it's unhealthy." That's at least defensible. Nope, it's "Don't drink beer because you are white and drinking beer is racist!"

I previously thought this was known as flash mobs hitting up the higher-priced luxury goods stores, ripping stuff off the hangers and shelves and dashing out the door - but apparently I was misinformed. That is NOT the Racial Equity Budget Tool in action, it's a completely different kind of equity.
Systemic racism is a Marxist concept. Look for Crowley to come out as a member of DSA.

We need affirmative action at the beer garden door. Deny white people entrance when the number already admitted exceeds quotas. That will force a group of 9 white people to go recruit a black person if they want a drink. Or, if we're not counting Hispanics as white, I guess that number could be reduced to 5 or 6. Clearly, we need the courts to give us a number.

I am not a supporter of Dem racist policies by any means, but the point that Crowley was trying to make was not that beer gardens are racist, but that allocating taxpayer money to things that are very disproportionally supported/used by rich white folks, if not racist, at least has a racial component. I am not at all certain that there is a racist component to it, but I am also not sure why you are okay with the government forceably taking your hard-earned dollars to promote alcohol consumption by the rich. Let the beer garden pay its full freight, for f**ks sake.

I'm guessing his point was that it's bad when the benefits accrue to whites. I suspect he'd have a different opinion if it was blacks who were disproportionally benefitted.

This is why we can't have nice things. What the hell is wrong with marinas, golf courses and beer gardens? They make people happy. Even black people who like to go to the waterfront, drink beer and look at the rich people's boats. And black people who like to play golf (there are lots of them). Marinas, golf courses and beer gardens raise the aesthetic value of the community, and thus raise the financial value of the community, for everyone who belongs to the community, including the black people.
Instead, the nice municipal property gets paved over for public housing, and tennis and basketball courts. the basketball courts get used, the tennis courts don't, the place becomes an eyesore and open air drug market, property values go down and politicians like Crowley complain about "white flight." After a couple of decades of driving down the property values this way, young white people start to buy distressed properties and fix them up, because they are cheap. This is called "gentrification."
I want the taxes which are forcibly taken from me to be used for good stewardship of public resources, not to foolishly try to change the laws of economics.

Yeah it's totally ridiculous for a politician to take advantage of his opponent saying he's against BEER GARDENS IN WISCONSIN! Dirty politics! There ought to be a law!
Gork says "beer gardens generate millions in revenue for county parks". A plain reading of this would be that the revenue generated by all those white beer drinkers with discretionary income is supporting all the other country parks, including those used more by non-whites and poorer people. How is that not supporting "equity" under the definition used by Crowley?
The point is that nobody should have "discretionary income." Not even black people who don't actually work in government or education. And also that government property should not be used to benefit the taxpayers who pay most of the taxes; it's purpose is solely to promote "social justice." All excess money held by anybody is "obscene" and should be devoted to "the common good", as decreed by those who are better and more enlightened than all of you grubby people clamoring after money at the expense of the perfect state.
Does it ever occur to the promoters of "equity" that the reason that the nice white suburbs are so nice (so nice that black people want to move to them, even though they are populated by "racists) is because the governments of those suburbs have used the tax dollars paid by their residents to develop nice public things, like marinas and parks and golf courses and food plazas and beer gardens?
