…and with this ruling the Supremes return to being fair arbiters of the law handing down inevitable truths. Tomorrow they return to their regularly scheduled illegitimacy tossing down partisan lies requiring court packing as remedy…

Why in the world would the Commies want to pack the court?
All this map stuff in the year before election was always going to be messy. But sorting it the process now will put these maps in place in 2028.
It’s sort of the way the Republic is supposed to work….slowly and noisily.
Is the new map a violation of the Federal Constitution? That is the sole reason any federal court can legitimately deny the state's right to use it. Last I looked, the risk of "chaos" is not a Constitutionally valid ground. The state has the unfettered right to cause this chaos if it sees fit.

What do they think they've guaranteed, with their decision? The primaries were run and candidates were decided on the 2025 map. They've disenfranchised a substantial number of voters, but that isn't 'chaos'? Who would have been disenfranchised if the 2025 map would have been upheld?
An ideal system would have independent, nonpartisan citizen commissions draw districts using transparent, legally defined criteria--equal population, compactness, contiguity, communities of interest, and compliance with the Voting Rights Act while excluding partisan election data from the map-drawing process. Computer modeling could then test thousands of alternatives for partisan bias, with public review and judicial enforcement to prevent either party from manipulating the process.
The chaos is caused by the new maps. And, early voting. It's September 26, Election Day is November 10 this year. More than a month from now In 5 states early voting has already started.
Missouri isn't one of them. They held a primary- and selected candidates in election districts that no longer exist. Early voting there starts the second Tuesday before election day- .October 27. A month away. The court could have easily ordered the Missouri elections be delayed a month so people could vote for candidates selected- there is no requirement under the Constitution that election day be November 10 this year. That's law passed by Congress.
In fact, Congress has established, by it's authority under The Constitution, that election day BE the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Early voting violates that law. That's voting before election day. But hey, why should anyone actually follow the law?
Election Day should be uniform throughout the country.
The only Constitutional residency requirement is that legislators reside in the state they represent.

Trump controls Iraqi elections by vetoing the people’s choice there, for democracy. Romanian election was reversed by means of a clause in their constitution that allows a judge to “vote his conscience.” Two of them did because they could find no reason in law to overrule the voters.

As Gospace noted: There’s a legitimate problem here: Missouri held its primary under one congressional map and is now heading into the general election under another. But early voting does not violate federal law; November 3 is Election Day, while states may allow ballots to be cast beforehand.
One basic correction: Election Day this year is November 3, not November 10. The Supreme Court kept the 2022 map because changing districts after the primary and as the general election process was already underway would create even greater disruption.
The most popular political party in Germany is kept out of power in order to keep the grift going, it never ends. France’s populist candidate for president, likely to win, just sold out her cause to the globalists, same as Trump has. We are living under Sorosism, Scot Bessent was Soros’s right hand man. Bust out your Marcus Aurelias, because Soros has won. He used Trump for his ability to fool the rubes, and it was a good investment.
Voters are entitled to hold the governing party accountable for its policies and consequences--including choosing the Iran war, imposing tariffs that raise costs, and adding substantially to federal deficits while affordability remains a problem. Republicans in Congress have largely enabled Trump’s Iran policy and his economic agenda, so they can reasonably be judged on that record
