Politico reports, in "House Dems warn of weaponized intel ahead of Trump’s speech/In a letter sent Thursday, Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee expressed concern Trump will selectively declassify spy material to 'relitigiate [sic] debunked 2020 election conspiracies.'"
Politico has a second article portraying Republicans as anxious about the speech: "'Scared s–tless': Republicans brace for Trump’s primetime speech/Rehashing grievances about the 2020 election could motivate the Republican base and press GOP lawmakers to pass the SAVE America Act": "'The people I talk to are scared shitless,' said a former Trump administration official, granted anonymity to speak candidly. 'It’s not scared shitless about the text of what he’s going to say, it’s, what does he add to the text?'"

That is my suspicion as well - that Trump is frustrated with the intractable nature of the Senators that are steadfast in their RINO behavior mode, and have thus far escaped being held accountable by their electorate. And is now going to try to sic the voters on them, even if they're not running for re-election.
I think at this point anyone that pays attention knows that the intelligence services and DOJ have been compromised for decades, and no longer can claim the imprimatur of unimpeachable credibility - quite the contrary, in fact. They've been playing their own script. Now with Humphreys Estate being decided, the rat-firing can commence.
…the story is the substance of what will be released…
Guessing the Venn diagram between the "scared shitless Republicans" and the Thune cabal is a perfect circle.
…how dare he try to hold congress accountable to voters!
…dumbest businessman in history embarrasses political experts while media desperately tries to save them…
I dunno, maybe the Progressives can be on the lookout for some experts in cherry-picking, to, ya know, identify when it starts to happen. And I say that in all the best Charlottesville, pussy-grabbing way.
…I was thinking there’s a chance it’s nothing but the counterattack tells us it’s definitely something…
‘weaponized selectively declassified intel’ is the new ‘no widespread voter fraud’
…’selectively declassified’ equals ‘proof of our treason was taken out of context’…
Let Americans judge the evidence. If it exists and its withheld by spies, I know where my suspicions will go.
Voting machine vulnerabilities cannot be mitigated. It's a solid theoretical result. All it takes is enough motivation to compromise a voting machine.
Liberal media once again laying the groundwork to deny/distort/criticize whatever Trump says.
Of course RINOs are scared. They are complicit.
"cherry-picked intelligence"
That's so rich it's wealthy.
I hope there’s a legitimate bombshell or two. The government and media systems need a massive disruption that obliterates the elections-are-fine narrative.
""Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee are urging the nation’s top spy chiefs to stop President Donald Trump if he tries to declassify cherry-picked intelligence material …"
What is that supposed to mean? Are they going to shoot him on camera?
I picked cherries as a kid. You got paid by the bucket-full via punches in your card, and the card paid off when you cashed it out.
The only rule was you had to finish the tree you start (no low hanging fruit stuff). Eat all you want. This turned out to be very little.
…rather than just pulling a few select paragraphs from ‘How to Commit Treason for Fun and Profit’ scared shitless congressman wants to release the volume set all at once..
If the 2020 'conspiracy theories' have actually been 'debunked' then the Dems have nothing to worry about, right?
But perhaps their real fear is that the superpower they formally held to declare any information that didn't help them acquire and keep power as 'debunked' -- well, maybe that superpower isn't so super any longer.
Interesting how the Dem/media already know somehow that the declassifications will be cherry-picked. How could that be, one wonders?
But let's assume for the moment that whatever is revealed is definitely 'cherry-picked'. So what? It's either accurate or it's not. If it makes Biden look bad and it's accurate, well, gee, that's hardly Trump's fault.
It's funny how often the Dem/media wants stuff to be about motives rather than facts.
"Vulnerabilities in U.S. voting machines have long been known to election officials, who argue they can be mitigated...."
Mitigate - To make less severe or intense
Doesn't that inspire confidence.
Here's a mitigation: weight the democrat vote total by 0.9.
I mean really; what are they talking about?
Oh, and one more thing. Who is the boss of those intelligence chiefs? As in, who did the American people vote to put in charge of the spies? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's a guy named Donald Trump. Their job is to do what he tells them to do, not the other way around.
Now maybe the voters chose the right guy to be the boss, or maybe they chose the wrong guy. But for four years he is the boss of the executive branch unless lawfully impeached, convicted and removed from office by Congress.
So, Democrats are urging insubordination. Which for military officers is a crime. That can be punishable by death.
For the civilians not so much. Too bad.
Did it mention *which* Democrats were urging the spies to stage a coup against the President?
Hey, I just received a good translation of that Politico gibberish into actual English: "Dems and their media lackeys attempt to do battle-space prep ahead of embarrassing disclosures."
Do heads of intelligence agencies have the power to prevent declassification?
No, heads of intelligence agencies do not have the power to block or override a direct declassification order from a sitting president. Because the president is the ultimate constitutional head of the executive branch, intelligence agency heads are subordinate officials whose classification authority is entirely delegated to them by the president.
According to Democrats, nobody, not them, not crazy partisan people around country, not our enemies, not criminals. nobody wants to influence our elections, or they are just too ethical to do so.
Of course, when Republicans win all that changes 180 degrees.
Just like with the E.Jean Carrol embarrassment, nobody really thinks our elections are secure. They just pretend they do when needed.
If you are against openly investigating to find out what is true regardless of the outcome, you are not a good or honest person.
Unless it comes with the names of the perpetrators and their immediate arrest and speedy trial this is all bullshit.
Enjoy your bullshit, retards.
One more thing: I don't believe any Republicans are "scared s*@#less" about this. But if they are, too bad. Once again, we should all be primarily concerned about the facts. Get the facts out and the fallout will take care of itself.
They used to tell me journalism was all about the facts . . .
"Here's a mitigation: weight the democrat vote total by 0.9."
If highly intelligent space aliens were asked to make U.S. elections fair as simply as possible, this would be their solution.
I’ll note again that Racket News recently podcast on “Twitter Files” is a primer on what is happening and about to be released. As Darkhelmet notes, the problem with Democrats today is they are no longer the gatekeepers of information they were in 2020, and they left evidence of how they kept the gate.
My thing is as bad as stealing an election may seem; it is mild to assisting China in building a bio-weapon and then helping hide how it was unleashed on the world and killed millions.
Pro-tip: All intelligence is "cherry-picked". For instance, shared Israeli intelligence on speed, decisiveness, and ease regarding Iran War III: On-Again-Off-Again Jamboree...
“If highly intelligent space aliens were asked to make U.S. elections fair”
…this morning my yt feed told me aliens can communicate to humans on psychedelics. You shroomers out there get to work on this…
The nation's spy chiefs all work for the President.
The Dems are in a panic as the American people are finally going to learn how the Dems and China stole our 2020 election.
As the new Senator from MI said the other day, if there was voter ID the Dems would never win another election. She's ex-CIA. She knows the Dems cheat and they cheat on a massive scale.
The amazing thing to me is that no Dem has ever ratted out how the Dems steal elections. The Dems are better than the Mafia when it comes to keeping people quiet. Omerta.
"... they CAN be mitigated."
Who is supposed to handle that?
The amazing thing to me is that no Dem has ever ratted out how the Dems steal elections.
It's motherfucking Christmas miracle. Almost as if it never happened and is a bunch of bullshit. Why can't Trump say "I will pay $10 million and grant a pardon to whoever comes forward with information to bring down the conspiracy?"
Is he too stupid to have thought of that or is he smart enough to know that if he did that no one would come forward and he would be exposed?
Personally, in this case, I think Trump is smart and MAGA thinks he is a dipshit.
"...no Dem has ever ratted out how the Dems steal elections."
Try to think of one who might do that. Maybe Fetterman, but that's about it. They probably never told him any secrets, and they sure as hell won't now.
You know what happens to people who rat on Dems? Hillary stops by for tea.
They're planning on releasing Seth Rich's laptop any day...down the road....after anyone who cares has passed. It's in your face and that's the point.
None of them would even admit Biden was wasted, even as we all watched it everyday. In fact, they did just the opposite. It's no surprise that none come forward on this or anything else. All the fraud is widely known now too. They don't even show up to hear about it.
I lived and worked in politics in Fulton County for most of the two decades between 1988 and 2007. It's a cesspool of unbelievable corruption. I am no expert on election law. I do demographic changes in the electorate and crime sentencing and release policy. I gave a lot of (booed) speeches, when I returned to northern Georgia, on the vast demographic changes being a bigger factor in 2020 (with just one minor physical attack resulting).
That would have been less attacky if the whole crowd had not started yelling "girlfight". Now I may have to go back and apologize to those people, though I wasn't wrong about demography, having studied the census in all 169 of our counties -- plus, they did not have the facts yet. I also checked GOP and conservative turnout, based on primaries, in six counties, and it was indeed down dramatically when we lost both Senate seats.
But the news this week about unfolded (they are always folded) yet allegedly mailed ballots; military ballots recently discovered that were 100% for Biden, and thousands of erased records in Fulton do, I believe, put 2020 back in play. We can't unspool time, and I think Trump emerged a better candidate for his time out of office. So that's just a triumph to push for losing Dominion machines and requiring real I.D. (sorry, leftitarians). State Senator Greg Dolezal deserves kudos for clarifying all of this.
Will it proceed to affecting the prior Senate vote? But there again, I'm no expert.
Shame about Dominion. Not really, but one of the incredibly rich owners gave away a $2000 new loveseat on Amazon marketplace for free, and I got there first. It has a ten year fabric replacement warranty. It's worth more than my car.
I call it my election fraud couch. Those people made a crapload of money on a ridiculous computer program. You should see how they live. I think I could even hack into their machines, or at least my cat could.
Hey DD, not the good guy from The Ramones. Few were more cynical than I was about election fraud. But this evidence is different.
Spencer Pratt: "Notice how Nithya Raman just completely disappeared after they blocked us out of the general election?
She's not campaigning at all."
We went from “without evidence” to “cherry picked intelligence“ so fast my head is spinning.
Are Democrats really arguing that Trump shouldn't be allowed to declassify anything he wants?
I remember 2008, when a lot of Republicans were wondering how Obama could possibly be president and put in charge of the military and the security agencies, when he was obviously ineligible for a security clearance. His visit to Pakistan, communist and terrorist friends, and much more made him totally ineligible. Could he be prevented from seeing things that required Top Secret or compartmentalized clearance?
I think it was the Volokh Conspiracy that did a very convincing Constitutional analysis, and concluded that it didn't matter. The president has absolute authority over classifications and declassifications, and nothing short of impeachment and conviction can stop him from using that authority however he pleases. If, hypothetically,. the people were stupid enough to elect an actual agent of a hostile foreign power, who gave that foreign power all our nuclear secrets, too bad: we should have known better.

That's a pretty compelling argument for making all executive positions down to SES part of a uniformed service.
"Tragically, no matter what evidence he presents, it will be disputed, dismissed and/or ignored by people who will shriek dictatorship and election-rigging when he moves to address the corruption.
Tragically, because confidence in election outcomes is now a partisan issue.
For Democrats, the sheep's clothing of false compassion ... in this case avoiding the inconvenience of attending a polling place on election day, claiming undue hardship in acquiring ID, and of course granting the vote to people who don't belong here ... as always is how they advance the wolf's agenda.
Tragically, because these confrontations over what was once unassailable civic good seem to be pushing us closer to civil war. Hey, we've already had at least two hot civil wars in this country, with a few others on slow burn."

Voting machine vulnerabilities cannot be mitigated. It's a solid theoretical result. All it takes is enough motivation to compromise a voting machine. - rhhardin
I remember an MIT professor stated the the machines used floating point columns in the database for the vote counting rather than integer columns. So I wrote a quick Python program to see if I could "mitigate" the count. Every run of the program with .01 to .09 mitigation had the Dems winning. Every run.
Floating point ostensibly because integer columns weren't
large enough to hold the totals.
Fuck China.
The votes were randomly generated for D or R.
No matter how many votes were totaled, even if more Rs than Ds, the Dems came out on top if the "mitigation" was allocated D.
The RINOs are just now “scared shitless”? You mean McConnell and Tillis being forced to retire and Cornyn and Cassidy losing their primaries didn’t frighten them enough?
Democrat warnings about "weaponized intel" simply make one wonder if there has ever been any intel that wasn't "weaponized."
I’ve been retired too many years. In my misspent youth I worked with people who could hack the Dominion machines to show 100% of the votes tabulated for Donald Trump for every election, right down to mayor of a small town. Some stunt like that might finally wake people up.
Democrats are afraid.
DeeDeeDrivel…
Hey DD, not the good guy from The Ramones. Few were more cynical than I was about election fraud. But this evidence is different.
Cool! Let's see the evidence. Better yet: let's name one (1) suspect and charge them with a crime go to court and obtain a conviction.
You stupid motherfuckers: it's been six (6) goddamn years. No criminal, no crime. Retards.
He cant even wait for the election result before he claims he lost it unfairly. Will he arrange for another rally of his supporters to fix the unjustice?

So, the next step is, "yeah, OK, we stole it, fuck you, get over it"
I live in Fulton County and I have lived all over the country as a former member of the military. You would find it hard to believe how stupid, incompetent and corrupt the county government is. There are zero republicans anywhere so the democratic party machine runs everything. You really have to try hard to be as stupid at everything as they are. So, if you postulate that someone would stupidly and obviously steal an election and then ask, "where could that happen", the answer would be Fulton County.
When I first moved there I was complaining to a guy in the elevator that no matter how far in advance you paid your property taxes you still got a late fee, he says to me, "Dude, it's Fulton County".
Why did he wait 18 months to declassify cherry-picked documents that prove he won in 2020?
I'm personally interested in Seth Rich. I've know his dad for decades. My dad did business with Seth's dad and Seth's grandfather. They were in the printing business in Omaha. And Seth was a Creighton University alum.
I second sweetie ‘s point; and would add “someone in the federal government added Tulsi Gabbard’s name to the Quiet Skies program — Why don’t we know that person’s name”?
D. D. Driver at 4:21 is applying the Hillary Clinton “What difference does it make?” defense. It won’t wash.
"You stupid motherfuckers: it's been six (6) goddamn years. No criminal, no crime. Retards"
Gee, smart guy, who was running the DOJ for the first four of those years?
It would be impossible to stop the leftist inertia of the academic/ media/professions/corporatist axis without a disrupter. Trump is a disrupter.
ABC and NBC will not air Trump's election security speech on their major network news. Good for them. This is just Trump propaganda before the November elections. Trump knows that if the Republicans lose the House, then he will be impeached again. This has nothing to with election security. It only has to do with Trump not wanting to be impeached again.
DDD: "Why can't Trump say "I will pay $10 million and grant a pardon to whoever comes forward with information to bring down the conspiracy?""
Trump can't pardon state crimes, civil liability, or future 'crimes.' Anyone who took the 10 mil would wind up spending it all to defend against blue-state prosecutions for aggravated mopery, and civil suits for defaming various august personages. And Dems would eventually get back into federal power, and prosecute the guy for false statements to federal officials.
If some truly repentant Dem took the money and spilled the beans, the money would taint their testimony, in and out of the four walls of the courtroom. "TRUMP-PAID RAT SEZ (Without Evidence) GA ELECTION SUX" and other headlines would be a daily occurrence.
Trump didn't get where he is by paying people to do nothing for him while hurting themselves in the process. CC, JSM
"House Dems warn of weaponized intel ahead of Trump’s speech/In a letter sent Thursday, Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee expressed concern Trump will selectively declassify spy material to 'relitigiate [sic] debunked 2020 election conspiracies.'"
If it's been debunked, the "spy material" should confirm that, right?
Historically unpopular GOP controls all three branches of government.
If theres so much widespread fraud why is there no proof?
If theres so much fraud, why is the GOP controlling the 3 branches of government?
Dementia ridden head of the party yells at cloud in primetime address.
If there's no proof, why do leftards lose their shit whenever the subject of voting fraud comes up?

Media will claim anonymous experts and CIA officials claim Trumps is lying.
"ABC and NBC" who? Anybody here name what ABC and NBC would be showing any given Thursday night? Must see television? Who here tunes into ABC or NBC for their news these days? I'm sure all those people going out to see the live action "Moana" wouldn't be tuning into ABC to watch the speech anyway.
I'll also note, I don't watch politicians speak anymore. It's boring and far more efficient to read the transcripts later. Much more effective to watch what, if any, action comes from the speech.
If Obama was giving a speech about how to sink more than 1 in 20 basketball shots, every network would run a special report with their best paid talking heads.

Shorter Politico: Democrats are scared shitless and Republicans are scared shitless of what Trump might say.
Trump: Let me see your identification.
Uniparty: [with a small wave of his hand] You don't need to see his identification.
Media: We don't need to see his identification.
Uniparty: These aren't the stolen elections you're looking for.
Media: These aren't the stolen elections we're looking for.
Uniparty: He's free to unload his truckload of ballots.
Media: You can unload your truckload of ballots.
Uniparty: Move along.
Media: Move along... move along.
Lots of predictions about what Trump is doing, so we know what they are scared of, but I'm curious to see how many get it right. Consciousness of guilt.
Too bad Trump isn't talking about how he is solving the ongoing mess in Iran.
Too bad you're too thick between the ears to realize he's bombing the shit out of them until they come back to the table.
From the Politico article:
"The missive underscores the growing worry from Democrats on Capitol Hill about Trump’s speech, scheduled for 9 p.m. Eastern, where the president has promised to unveil “really big news” on election security."
Lefty unhappy he's not talking about Iran.
As far as Democrats telling us how they cheated in 2020, I recall that somebody at Time magazine wrote an article about how the election was 'fortified' to ensure Trump didn't win in early 2021. They basically couldn't wait to tell us how they did it. Probably still out there if it hasn't been memory holed.
The first rule of Voter Fraud Club is: you do not talk about Voter Fraud Club.
"It's motherfucking Christmas miracle. Almost as if it never happened."
My position from the day after election day 2020 to this day has been that "widespread fraud" was not necessary provided that ALL the public messaging was that Biden was the competent, intelligent moderate (despite the 10am lids) and Trump was the fascist would-be dictator who would never step down. If that message was constantly amplified - and it was - and every other message was suppressed - and they were - there would be no need to undertake a giant conspiracy to turn the election. There were more than enough average Americans, in the sense of being only average-ly attentive to politics and the news, to tip it - especially during the lockdowns.
And surely we all remember the elegiac article about the "shadowy cabal" that worked together to *ensure* that Trump wouldn't be elected.
It's like saying that the only way to commit financial fraud is to undertake a Machiavellian scheme involving the entire accounting group, suborning the loyalties of the CFO's executive assistant, and paying off the junior reporter at the Financial Times who was kind of paying attention, versus simply letting it get out there that you're not averse to the odd kickback.
Unfairly?
Debunked?
Yeah, Jim, that worked the last time so well.

Achilles,
You needn't posit 64 bits, or even unsigned -- a plain old 32 bit signed integer holds a little bit over 2 billion. Just how obsolete a development environment is Dominion trying to convince us they used???
Actually, DD there can be civil lawsuits, real pressure to clean up Fulton County's voter rolls, criminal lawsuits, firings, and a deep dig into how we lost the Senate by electing Ossoff, that privileged limousine commie who never held a real job. Warnock, who is actuallyintelligent, if crooked, can be tainted enough to avoid running for executive office. Beyond that, I'm at least honest enough to say that I don't know.
You are not honest.
