However, halfway through his second term of office, after the Iran negotiations and the midterms, Trump could retire and hand off the reins of his administration to his VP - with Rubio or Hegseth or Bessent or Patel or Gabbard or Abbott or any of another dozen fine Republicans as the next VP.
