Very entertaining. People who give overly dramatic interpretations of paintings, though, maybe off-putting to many. Trees may just be trees to many people and not threatening, devouring menaces. For some people the painted surface encompasses whole worlds, for others -- not so much. Overly dramatic and gushing interpretations of art also make Simon Schama sound far more gay than he usually does.
