This past memorial day, I was sitting across from my father in law, when he had a minor stroke (TIA). We knew something was wrong almost immediately because he was mid sentence, and while at first it seemed like he could not find a word, after a few seconds, it was obvious something was wrong. My wife was on the phone instantly to 911. So, when Jill Fucking Biden says, she thought Joe was having a stroke, yet she did nothing.... I smelled bullshit right away.

What happened was, the Ukrainian orphan was putting up a fight and had to be drugged, but then, when Biden got the kid's blood transfused right before the debate, he ended up unwittingly being tranked himself.

People seem to forget how Trump repeatedly avoided direct answers, made numerous false claims, and often wandered off topic. Had Biden merely been mediocre rather than disastrous, much more attention would have been focused on Trump's own poor performance.
But the phrase being single out; "Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!" isn't whether Trump's debate performance contributed to Biden's collapse. According to Trump, only he knows.
Presidential debates are adversarial by design. The interesting part is Trump's claim to exclusive knowledge is his repeated rhetorical style. He frequently presents subjective judgments as if they are uniquely accessible facts: “everyone knows...", “nobody knows more about...", “only I can”, “I understand...".
Here he's essentially claiming privileged access to Biden's internal mental state. Nobody—not Jill, not Joe, not campaign staff, not doctors—knows why Biden performed poorly. But Trump does.
That isn't really a factual claim; it's a performance of authority. The point is less the answer than the assertion that he alone possesses it.
It’s the power of the supreme leader of the village- turn an unknowable question ("Why exactly did Biden melt down that night?") into a certainty and then assigns himself as the sole possessor of that certainty.
He first asks whether his own performance caused Biden to "choke" or whether other reasons were responsible and then acknowledges that "nobody else knows." Then declares that he knows. Yet he never actually tells us the answer.
The mystery remains unresolved, but Trump still gets to occupy the role of omniscient narrator.
It's almost slapstick comedy in its absolutism.

I would guess that the media would like to tactfully ignore Jill Biden's book. There's just no possible way to spin it so that either Jill or her husband look good. Trump's somewhat enigmatic post makes this difficult. Some reporter is duty bound to ask what it is that he knows, and thus keep the story alive for a few more days........It would have been really cool if Jill, distraught and tearful, had rushed onstage and demanded that they end the debate and call an ambulance for her husband. Also, don't you think it would have been better if Edith Wilson had declared her husband a bed ridden invalid incapable of performing his duties instead of taking up the reins of office herself. Was it autopen or was it Jill?
The setting for which Jill Biden is accredited to be called “Doctor” is Special Education.

At least 3 times, maybe more, TikTok and/or X have served me up a Jay Leno interview stalking about Rodney Dengerfield. Rodney were close friends and Jay says that as Rodney was doing his bit on the couch, Jay noticed some slight changes in his mannerisms. Nothing big, nobody else noticed apparently. It dawned on Jay that Rodney was having a stroke. Jay immediately cut to a break and called in the paramedics.
It turned out that Rodney did have a stroke during his act and he was rushed to hospital.

I work with several PhD's in engineering, optics etc. Not ONE of them refers to themselves as doctor. Not One. I have a friend with a doctorate in education and they insist on being referred to as doctor.

Nope, no PhD. She has an EdD. Considerably less work in terms of class credits (IIRC about 10 less for a EdD than a PhD when I was looking at doctoral programs 2o years ago) and much less rigorous doctoral thesis requirements.

In Puerto Rico, attorneys are called "Licenciado" or abbreviated Lic. Because they are licensed by the govt. Pharmacists are often called Licenciado as well, for the same reason.
But none of the 100 or more other professions and trades that require a govt license.
I used to have a license, back in the 70s, as a Master Air Conditioning and refrigeration tech. (Lic #1666, a devilishly good number)
I used to moan to my wife that nobody called me Licenciado. "Shut up" was her typical response.
Fun fact: In PR, only attorney's can be notary public and it is a separate license so not all are. That is why it costs $50 or so and a morning spent waiting, to get something notarized here.
Fortunately I seldom have to. Maybe once every 10-15 years.
