I shook Bill Clinton’s hand, at a different event in Boston around 10 years later, but it would a stretch to say that I met him.

mikee said...: Mental acuity is an interesting phrase. Joe Biden entered office with clear symptoms of dementia, so no argument about him. But what part of Trump's mental acuity is under question? He seems to have organized and continues to run an extremely effective presidential administration, personally and forcefully, something that Hillary has failed to do. So he's well ahead of her in those categories of mental acuity - victorious candidacy and successful administratoin of his office. So perhaps her mental acuity is indeed "much better" in some other categories you are considering - such as making a pandering speech that sycophant lapdogs enjoy -"much better" in that regard than the previous dementia patient and the current, extremely effective Chief Executive. What's amusing about that statement is that the Left has so saturated the public forum with their Trump Derangement Syndrome that they've inadvertently immunized him against legitimate criticism. Another wolf, you cry? They could literally witness Trump shoot someone in Times Square, and no one would believe their testimony. Even their own allies would give a wink and a nod (reflexively assuming the witness was exaggerating) and attempt to pass off what they "knew" to be false as the truth, never realizing it actually IS the truth...
