Setting Epstein aside, the old male/female emotion and behavior stereotypes are indeed linked to biology. The 2024 story below describes using AI to indentify brain patterns by sex, but the fMRI male/female findings date back maybe 15 years. I watched the whole interview a couple of days ago and got the following impressions:
1. From his photos, I thought Epstein would attempt to come across much more suave and macho. Instead his voice and mannerism were very similar to Woody Allen at times. Overall, he seemed very nerdy.
2. Bannon, the populist, was looking for simple answers to complex questions, such as who was the culprit that triggered the 2007 stock crash. Epstein keep trying to explain that the finacial market is so complex no one really understands how it works, including himself. He did say that the Clinton admisntration was the root cause for guaranteeing subprime loans. His explanation seemed solid to me on that point.
3. Bannon kept playing up how smart Epstein was, repeatedly saying he was the smartest guy in the room. Epstein seemed flattered by this, but kept coming back to how no one really understands how the market works.
I believe Epstein was paying Bannon to do these interivews in an attempt to rehabilitate him. It'd be interesting to know how much.

The Guardian, for all intents and purposes, can be considerd absolutely trash and horse urine for any reliability and conclusions regarding lists.
Epstein was a nerd and clearly cerebral, possibly bordering on genius. He doesn’t seem like the kinda guy who attracted the babes in his youth, so his latter exploits were perhaps driven by those insecurities and seeking to assuage a perceived failure on his part. And it could explain his desire for the younger girls.
How do we know that Epstein was "sitting on the sidelines" watching others? How does that square with what we know of his obsession with procuring underage girls?

I listened to Joe Rogan's podcast with Mike Benz while I was working out. One of the points that Benz made which stuck out is that the bill requiring the disclosure of "the Epstein files" did not require or authorize the disclosure of CIA materials or any other "classified" materials, and that without such legislative authorization the administration cannot disclose them. He suggested that if Thomas Massie wants to be a hero he can redraft the JFK records bill for the Epstein records and get a vote on that.

Epstein was many things, but a retail investor he was not. I think he realized early what many 'American' men without the ability to select a partner from a larger global culture pool and even some women are realizing, Western marriage is an increasingly bad investment for men.

I understand that point, but many in Congress are read-in to these projects in an oversight role. So, for example, could Congress pass a bill to force a President to declassify Project XYZ? He could veto it, but they could also override that veto.

Yeah, Benz did say that Trump could issue an executive order but that would be problematic (I am paraphrasing). His point was that it could be done like the Kennedy stuff. He also said that what he found most interesting about the Kennedy stuff was the revelations regarding the CIA working with the Chicago mob to try to assassinate Castro, etc. He said that before the Church hearings there was literally no oversight of "intelligence".
