How many of those Executive Orders have been ratified as laws? Looking at you, do-nothing majority-Republican Congress.

Ouch. That may leave a mark.

Does an Executive Order necessarily need to be ratified by Congress. And as for Accomplishment 243--you go Bad Orange Man!

Is that in order of importance, or chronological? Cause ending use of paper straws was slightly more important.

Fedposting from former law clerks aside, this is a good start. But only a start. I'm sure President Trump will realize how little AG Barbie and the DOJ contributed to any of these. Fire her and start arresting the donor class.

It should also have said: "deadbeat father"

My list of achievements:
Closed the border
Destroyed Iran's atomic weapons drive.
Assisted Israel to destroy the ring of enemies - Hezbollah, Syria, the Houthis, Gaza - which were shooting rockets at civilians daily -
Sank fentanyl boats which have killed at least 40,000 Americans a year
Grabbed Maduro which put Venezuela on the path to reform
Lowered gas prices which means other prices will come down.
Exposed the massive theft going on in the programs which are intended to help people. This theft is so massive - almost half the money being spent in the blue areas - that if it were stopped we could slightly increase benefits to those who truly need them while cutting the expense of the programs by 1/2.
The worst of the worst among criminal illegal aliens have fled into the blue sanctuary areas which seriously endangers the people there. ICE has pursued them in force despite the support which blue-city mayors give to antifa and other elements of the far left which are protecting this array of murderers and pedophiles under the guise of fighting fascism. The question is: is this support for the worst of the gangs somehow tied to the massive thefts these mayors seem to have enabled? Or are these mayors of a saintly innocence and purity which has blinded them to the possibility of wrong doing?

I'm with Aggie. Submit bare-bones, single item, no pork, legislation for a vote. Get everybody on the record for each of Trump's accomplishments.

If Hunter Biden isn't objectively a notorious crackhead and grifter, then why did he get that blanket pardon for unspecified criminal charges never brought to trial?

No insults, just an apt description of the miscreant.

George H. W. Bush never responded in kind to Chimpy McBushitler, did he. Did the Democrats regret their incivility in light of his civility to his tormentors? I don't recall anything but increased volume.

It would suck to be a coke head in California because those paper straws just don’t cut it. Or so I’ve heard…

"Was Hunter a scammer or a grifter?"
That is a tough one. It appears that he presented himself to the marks as a bagman, while claiming when exposed that he was actually a scammer. The Big Guy was never actually for sale, in Hunter's telling. I don't think you could call him a grifter. That would require some ostensibly legitimate activity.

The only way this could have been any better is if he’d noted Hunter’s penchant for underage hookers.

Hunter's best art was a nude self-portrait of himself in mirror image lying on a bed nude.

You cannot find this art anywhere via google search anymore, but it existed and was photographed.

I don't know he got this image removed from the internet, but if you ask me it was actually his best work and I bet it will be of some value in the future.

I think pre-emptive pardons are an abuse of the Constitutional power granted to the President. They should be given out only after a public trial and conviction.

If I recall right, they did not exist until Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon, followed by Carter pardoning all the draft dodgers by reference rather than by name.

"Facing contempt of Congress, the Clintons' lawyers made an untenable offer: that I travel to New York for a conversation with President Clinton only," Comer revealed in a post on X. The conditions only got worse from there. "No official transcript would be recorded and other Members of Congress would be barred from participating. I have rejected the Clintons' ridiculous offer."
Comer added, "The Clintons' latest demands make clear they believe their last name entitles them to special treatment."

Unlike the mob left and their desire and ability to assassinate Charlie Kirk , nobody wants to hurt or killl Hunter.

The corrupt Biden family have stolen enough of our money and national treasure. May they simply face karma and rot.

Mary Beth said...

If I recall right, they did not exist until Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon

And wasn't his acceptance of the pardon viewed as an admission of guilt? Biden's pardonees want the pardon, but also want to claim innocence.

TobyTucker said...

"That would require some ostensibly legitimate activity."

I was going to mention the sale of his "art" but that was a money laundering/influence peddling scheme. Actually... there's not that much of a difference, it's a matter of degree. A grifter AKA a con man works on a one-to-one basis while a scammer works at a distance targeting groups of people. Hunter Biden's influence peddling was a con job IMHO especially as, according to Grok, the purchasers of said "influence" ended up with no long term benefits despite some initial success.

Peachypeachy said...

Nobody wants to kill Hunter, because he’s already dead to us.

Yes, just the other day I read a short article about Hunter no longer bothering to make his child support payments. If he was anyone else the judge would throw the book at him, but as a key member of the Biden crime family he is exempt.

john mosby said...

The threat with First Family members is more kidnapping than assassination. If you have the President's spouse or kid, you can blackmail him into, say, refusing to order a nuclear counterstrike. Of course, Biden was more worried that Hunter's captors would induce him to reveal all the corruption. Trump, on the other hand, would love that outcome.

(Maybe Hunter would, too. It could turn into Ransom of Red Chief. Or reverse blackmail: do what we want, or we give Hunter back!) CC, JSM

I wish Trump would review every presidential order from the beginning and rescind all that are useless, harmful,no longer needed or repetitive. I wish he could cease agencies from issuing new regulations until the same is done by the agencies. Asking Congress to act responsible is a bridge to far I suppose.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by preemptive pardons. Granting pardons to unnamed persons for crimes not yet charged goes all the way back to George Washington pardoning participants in the Whiskey Rebellion and there have been similar pardons issued through the years.

What was unique about the pardons Biden issued is they immunized people for crimes that hadn't even been identified by investigation yet.
