Somehow, I never tire of these old montages. When I monitor the news these days, I wonder what is going to end up looking this foolish in some future montage.
I never doubted. Lord be praised! Is it possible we have a person with vast business experience, already accumulated notable wealth and fame, NEVER held a government funded job, now willing to devote his "retirement" years to the public good?
People whose understanding of the world comes from the mainstream media are like those videos of small children playing soccer, they just run around the field in a kind of Brownian motion chasing a bouncing ball that only goes in the net by accident.

These are more comments on "journalists" than on Trump. America's dimmest are inexorably drawn to seeing themselves on the screen or in print spouting nonsense.
I've never heard the term, "gamudgeons" or "gamudgeons" - as in, "he has gamudgeons of money". I suppose using the more pedestrian "butt loads" doesn't suggest the needed pundit gravitas.
This is what is wrong with our news organizations. They are all opinion all the time. Imagine how much real news they could cover if they spent their money paying reporters to go out and report just the facts instead of paying lots of money for these celebrity talking heads to bloviate.
It was hilarious for the media, because it was happening to Republicans.
The summer of 2016, I was in such a panic. Politics had never put me in a panic before. I would talk about it at work. I would bring it up with my boss. "I mean, we have to stop Trump. This is insane. This is ridiculous." It even turned me a little racist. "He's got the white trash vote. Oh my God, the white trash vote is a lot bigger than I thought it was. Holy shit, what are we going to do?"
I was a Rubio man. And then when Rubio was out, I was like, oh shit, I guess it's Ted Cruz. And then Cruz was out. "Let's rally around John Kasich boys." And then it was the 2016 election, Darth Vader vs Cruella de Ville. And I had to vote for the pothead Libertarian.
After Trump was elected, I was like, "I signed the Never Trump pledge. My fucking name is floating around on a Never Trump pledge. IRS audit? Maybe?" And nothing happened. After several months of normality and peace, I was like, "oh, he's just another Republican. Boy, I got that wrong."
I feel bad for the Democrats (and some RINOs!) who have to suffer from 12 whole years of TDS. Even when he was out of office, they couldn't shake the fear. For me, 2016 was a stressful year, and I got over it. Life moved on. I cannot imagine having TDS for over a decade. At some point, that's going to become a genuine medical condition.
Saint Croix, you sound like me though I was never invested in the Never Trump attitude, and never worried because I expected Trump to lose in a landslide. It was quite delicious looking up the votes on the 'net that night and seeing Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, and Michigan all going for Trump and knowing that The Harridan would never be President.
What's really great is you can do a montage of most of these folks getting another dozen things completely wrong over the next 10 years, but no video of any apologies. If you still listen to these people, you are the dumb one.
You should apply the technique of noting statements and tiger comparing them to actual results as time passes to other areas, like who is telling the truth about a war, for example.
"You must remember this A kiss is but a kiss, a smile is but a smile But the fundamental truths apply, as time goes by..."
If I was a person who these people liked to interview, I'd make it a thing to bring these up every time they got me on camera. Trump should do that when they ask him questions.
Trump broke S.E. Cupp, who is shown twice. When she got her own show she resorted to a weekly segment where she planned out the week on a white board. She wore super tight skirts that showed off her ass. Google "S.E. Cupp's ass" and you'll see a montage of images.
Thanks to Sydney and Harrogate's contributions for themes of the thread: "bloviate" and "rhetorical mendacity." Well done, and so early in the day! We talked about bloviate a few days ago, and it has served me well during 40 years of practice ( practice using the word, and doing the word too, no doubt), but rhetorical mendacity is a word combination that I have never heard or used before. It certainly would have come in handy. Magical! Thanks!
"I would send Pence to all these pre-election events now in WI instead of Trump. Wisconsinites like Pence much better than Trump. A vote for Pence is a vote for Trump. "
It never stops. Amanda Carpenter today: "I don't agree with going into the church like this but Lemon had a camera and interviewed the pastor. This arrest is a disgrace."
Because apparently there's that "holding a camera" exception to my first amendment rights to peaceably assemble and practice religion unimpeded, according to the dullards of Corporate Media News. You literally cannot hate these subtards enough.
The funniest thing about that church invasion arrest is that they used the same law the Democrats passed to protect abortion clinics from the "first amendment rights" of anti-abortion activists.
My fucking name is floating around on a Never Trump pledge. IRS audit? Maybe?" And nothing happened. After several months of normality and peace, I was like, "oh, he's just another Republican. Boy, I got that wrong."
This happens again and again and again. Right now, the Death of Our Civil Liberties!! refrain is all about ICE, the "goons," the "paramilitary force," the "Gestapo" - but whose civil liberties are being systematically* threatened, much less denied? Even Matt Taibbi is expressing concern about the administration's commitment to the 1A (most recently, I think, about that WaPo? reporter whose computer and phone were seized by the FBI because a guy who was fired for sharing classified information had been communicating with her - please be gentle if I've gotten these details wrong), though at least he does point out that Biden and Obama were as bad if not worse.
What I see is that an adversarial press, irritating and frustrating as they are since they're only adversarial in one direction, forces more transparency and ensures the robust health of the 1A, and the Trump administration is doing nothing to interfere with it. So I cannot join in any Death of Our Civil Liberties!! chorus because it's not happening.
The Minneapolis protestors obviously think it is, either with regard to them (although no one is preventing them from protesting) or with regard to the illegal aliens whom they want to shield from deportation (although deportation is not an infringement of an illegal alien's civil liberties not natural rights).
* I'm employing the lefty tactic of adding an adjective to a term under discussion: I am sure that some isolated infringement of civil liberties has taken place and will continue to take place, because ICE agents are human and imperfect. But the infringement is not systematic. And I support continual review and commitment to improving individual agents' practices.
The obvious reply to Amanda's stupid tweet is Bullshit. Declaring yourself a "journ-0-list" does not grant you the right to violate 1st Amendment protected activities.
It's literally called the KKK Law because that's what democrats did to black churches in the Jim Crow south.
The amazing thing is that over the last 10 years their opinions and strategies to combat Donald Trump have stayed exactly the same. And by they I mean the MSM DNC Davos complex. Although to their credit, some of the Davos billionaires have learned to pivot and adjust because there is much profit in going along with the Trump administration.
Howard - the pivot is all fake. The true communists are still on the march. Crush the little guy... and import the slave class. Check box #1 on the top of their to-do list.
It's only fake, April, if Trump's economic revolution fails. Given that Trump decided it was more important to stimulate your bloodlust in Minneapolis rather than focus on his economic agenda, the DNC MSM Davos cabal will likely succeed this November.
It is falling out of common usage. I still use it but I am far from the average person these days in doing so. I suspect that a hundred years from now it will be considered archaic.
I was one of the early predictors that Trump would win the GOP nomination even though I voted for Cruz. Like most, I thought Clinton would beat him in the general election but I did think it would be closer than the polls were indicating- I thought he would lose much the same way Romney did in 2012. I was pessimistic about his chances in 2024 up until the assassination attempts- after that, I thought that if Harris won it would be by stealing another election with a flood of mail-in-ballots counted in the middle of the night.
The current Fed forecast for Q4 2025 is 4.2%, down from initial 5.4%, which was rather crazy. Still, that will be three excellent quarters, 3.8, 4.4 and 4.2 I dont see in what fantasy world the US could have done better. The US is not a third world country in the middle of economic takeoff.
Howard - you live in upside-down world. " stimulate your bloodlust" ??? what? You've just described the entire corrupt leadership of MN - and their on-record instigation and gas-pouring on the broken propagandized hive-mind obedient leftist minions.
I have a boyhood friend with an extremely severe case of TDS. He doesn't like Elon Musk either. So I get bombarded with mid-wit snark each morning. It's sort of his hobby in late retirement. Odd that there's no FNC in there. I remember this time period clearly. DJT announces and he's got 5% support and FNC says 95 beats 5 (adding up the 'normal' candidates percentages and undecided because that's not going to Trump). In July they're saying 90 beats 10 and in August they're saying 87 beats 13. I also recall that when I cut the cord in 2018 there were just a handful of Trump supporters at FNC. And that same year Real Clear Politics had ZERO Trump supporters on staff. The pinky in the air conservatives hated, and maybe still hate, Trump as much as the left.
I appreciated all of the "he's never going to win" people. They were so confident. I think they're a big part of how I was able to win triple my bet on PredictIt.
I wasn't closely following politics in 2015-6, so I assumed Trump was an R stalking horse for Hillary because the media seemed to give him all the attention. If I'd seen all these fools, I might have changed my opinion.
I loved the compilation. And where are they now? Some unemployed; some working for Bari Weiss; all sounding like Sunset Boulevard: "Mr. De Mille, I'm ready for my close-up." Meanwhile Trump is moving the US into the 21st century.
And even with all of them being massively wrong on full display, these media fucktards show no hint of contritition about being so wrong. Twice. They got the rigged "election" outcome right though. We can despise them enough.

How can you be so wrong so often and still have a job?
You can't hate the mainstream media enough.
“Donald Trump is a fool,” The guy who was masturbating during a Zoom call.
BTW, who’s laughing now?
Thanks, ann
More evidence that it is difficult to have a low enough opinion of the presstitutes

If you are going to carry the narrative forward, you have to have a short memory and welcome the input of your editor.
Read the prompter and smile. You know you're overpaid for what you do, so lets keep this up as long as we can.

This is a good compilation. Thanks.
“Ds posting their Ls” is a popular meme for the 90% of Americans who are not defined by their temporary political positions.
Same people can currently be found telling Bari Weiss “you are doing news wrong.”
Some people said something.

Today the media are mocking and laughing about the FBI investigation of the 2020 Georgia presidential election. No data required!
And still zero humility from any one of them. Nothing learned.
A good representation of the US market for smart glasses was on display in that video.

Jeffrey Toobin called Trump a fool. Now that's funny right there.
Yeah she removed all doubt

That was a delightful montage, second only in hilarity to the meltdown reactions from his 2016 victory! :)
Trump won my respect and my vote when he took on that heckler, err, I mean news reporter in Iowa. I watched it live, and I couldn't believe it.
I voted for him the second two times because when the neocons tried to get him to bomb Iran, he refused, which pissed them off to no end.
Now it's all "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran," but I will believe it when the Tomahawks actually fly.

Apparently Don Lemon has been arrested on the FACE Act for the church invasion. If true, I’ll be laughing all day…
I've never been a political show watcher, and so am mostly unfamiliar with SE Cupp.
But googling her ass was a pleasant diversion this morning, Curious G. Thanks.
In the immortal words of Lili von Schtupp: It’s twue, it’s twue!! lol
I had a lot of Rubio/Fiorina/Cruz supporters here calling me names.
They all went on to support Desaatis in 2024 and call me names.
Gosh supporting Trump is stupid.
All these people here laughing at the Democrats need to go read all of the retarded shit you all were posting in 2016.
Most of you knew Trump would lose.
