It probably goes back to the deal the Bush Jr. DoJ cut with Epstein. Additionally, I would say, given I think the files don't really detail any incriminating details (Epstein wasn't likely stupid enough to put such stuff in writing), that releasing the files will smear anyone with whom Epstein had contact even if it was all completey innocent.
However, I agree- they are going to be released eventually, so just get it over with. What I would really like to see are the unredacted grand jury testimonies from the victims themselves- that is where you are likely to, at least, get the most guilty parties publicly named.
The "leaks" absolve Trump from the worst allegations (i.e., underaged girls). The "worst" that Epstein could offer up was pictures of Trump with girls in bikinis. To me, that probably means that is there worst there is. 🥱

It's also possible to get shunted into spam by the machine. We try to keep an eye on that and release the miscaught good stuff. We do delete some comments, but not for viewpoint... for bad faith.
