Reading further, I see the argument is that she's supposed to still be constraining her remarks to fit the ongoing mourning period for Charlie Kirk. The NY Post quotes random tweets that accuse Clinton of creating a permission structure for killing white Christian men. Some unnamed person tweeted: "Two weeks after Charlie Kirk is assassinated, Hillary Clinton reminds everyone that white Christian men are dangerous and doing damage to America. These people have no intention of turning down the temperature. They know they’re encouraging what happened." If you know that there's a militant wing of your side that believes, to their core, that disagreement with (or failure to acknowledge the beautiful primacy of) them is "erasure" or "genocide," then it seems to me that Job 1 is to do something about that wing - either talk them out of their delusion or, if that's not possible, cut them out of your side. On the right, we tend to do the latter (I think most of the time without trying to talk, say, an actual white supremacist out of his delusion - which may not be to our credit a la Charlie Kirk, but does bring to mind the thing about wrestling a pig in mud).
The left tends to do neither, it seems to me. And they keep talking to the whole of the public as if that wing doesn't exist and isn't affected by what they say. Well, we actually HAD one of those within the borders of the United States for a few decades, as a matter of fact. The majority of the intermountain west was settled by the LDS church, pretty much acting as the government. From 1847 to roughly 1890 or so, you could likely characterize Utah, Idaho, parts of Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, and even such places as San Diego as being "run" by the Democrats dreaded Christian Theocracy.
Anyone-- ANYONE rational, would look at what life was like underneath the "iron fist" of Brigham Young and compare it to life in a Democrat paradise like Detroit or Baltimore. Both are shining examples of places and people being run solely by their theology.

Partially true. But most Latin American countries have been ruled by people, mostly men, who have been either of full, or at least predominantly, European ancestry.

Hillary is doubly wrong: The world was dominated by white Christian men, so it's not a world that never was. Nobody is trying to recreate that world.
I was a young white male in suburban San Diego in 1956--the world was filled with possibility for me and others like me. A college education and law school was either free or cheap. The atmosphere was one of hope--and also the need for change via the civil rights movement and early feminism. What's not to like about all that? Hillary is full of enough bile to fill an 18 wheeler's fuel tank.
As for Hillary still talking because the Dims don't have anyone better to lead them--if that's true, then the Democrat party is like the one horse shay in the midst of self-disassembling.

About 500 years ago (1492 is a good date), white Christian men exploded out of Europe and quite quickly conquered or otherwise dominated the world, in every category imaginable.

That's an interesting point and worth making. I didn't give careful consideration to Latin America. I'd respond by pointing out that being "ruled" (the highest political leaders) is not being "dominated by" (which would include the majority of the legislators, business leaders and most entrepeneurs). In reality, almost all are/were mestizo with varying degrees of Indian ancestry. Many or most were probably more Native American than European genetically.
Also interesting is the fact that the three South American counties that are the whitest, Argentina, Chile, and Urugay are the ones that have historically had the least out migration.
BTW, Rocco, the country that is the most interesting to analyze in light of your observation is Brazil. Where I think your point would be revelatory.
Every so often, starting around 2022, I'd hear a FEMALE student say something like "You know, maybe things WERE a lot better in the 50's," and when I've had chance to follow up, I've even got "...even for women. They kind of had it made then if you think about it." This came up a lot in my Science Fiction courses: the desperate demonization of the '50s is starting to collapse under its own contradictions and will be completely gone as soon as the last Boomers shuffle off.
Thus far I have only heard the sentiment from women, who more can get away with something "transgressive" like this because they're being 'edgy.' But that's always how a rejection of dogma starts, a trickle before the dam bursts.

I remember a very interesting discussion of it on the old Asymmetrical Information blog back in the day - back when Megan McArdle was a libertarian instead of whatever she is now.
I started rereading it a few months ago but didn't get very far before my life was overtaken by events and I returned to short-form reading. I recall that it gave me a sense of great humility for the accident of my birth.
Also - I entirely misread Clinton's quoted statement because of the omitted comma (thank you to whichever commenter, above, clarified that matter for me!). I thought she was saying that (as implied) MAGA entails "a desire to return to a world of the past that was never dominated by white Christian men" - not "a world of the past that never existed, but when we (MAGA, that is) succeed in immanentizing it, will be dominated by white Christian men."
The first is a fiction but could have been a concession to "bringing down the temperature" - "Look! The world of the past WASN'T the hell we've been saying it was! But it's foolish of them to think that they can return to that not-so-bad past without the baggage of their patriarchal movement."
The second is bad mind-reading, so my first comment, above (if I actually published it - I don't remember now), stands, even though I got to my conclusion of bad mind-reading in a different way.
