"It was cool, though, I mean, pshhwww, it's terrible...."

Said George Clooney, making some funny faces, about the Louvre heist.

Clooney is looking awfully thin. Needs to beef up a little.

Yes, the gap between his neck tendons was so gaping, at first I thought he had a tracheotomy! CC, JSM

The technical term is Residual Pegging Face.

Amal has been driving home some lessons to her hubby regarding circumference.

I am Laslo.

I'm willing to give Mr. Clooney a pass on this one, which is the least I can do considering how much I enjoyed his performance as the Oompa Loompa in Wonka.

If you haven’t watched Ocean’s Eleven in a bit, give it a whirl.

I too, thought Clooney looked unpleasantly thin. The way he keeps his arms crossed says to me he's fighting a chill from the room's A/C.

Out of the three, I thought Ocean's Thirteen was the best.

I think George is still convinced he's irresistible, so I'll let him enjoy his bubble. He's looking a bit.....East Indian though, NTTAWWT, maybe it's role prepping. I think his best performance was in 'Hail Caesar', probably because it came naturally.

Napoleon's jewels came from the looting of Europe. These thieves did much less damage. Napoleon had the soul of a Jacobin. I think it's fair to root for the thieves, but I can see why Clooney would feel ambivalent. He'd feel less ambivalent if they pulled off a job in Mar A Lago.

There is much discussion in France right now - based on initial assessments of 'clumsiness' - that if this wasn't a commissioned-heist the thieves may just be dumb enough to destroy the treasures to extract their raw value seeing as they're completely unsaleable intact no matter how black the market. In which case not just lame, but also tragic.

Like I asked when Ann first posted this story, where was George Clooney last Sunday morning?

thats possible, but if youre going to commit a heist in the louvre, you should put some work into it, like the panther gang, featured in den of thieves sequel' (its not as good as the original, despite the more expansive tableau) ex serbian commandoes who have done heists all over europe,

The lo-tech charm of the Louvre heist is what has made the robbery so embarrassing for museum officials is that the thieves made it look so simple.

Furthermore -- even thieves in France have better work-life balance than most of us, they didn't start work till 9.30 am

Comedian Mark Normand said, paraphrasing, hard to believe it's easier to steal a jeweled crown from the Louvre than deodorant from the CVS.
