Well, its obvious the convesation was "cleaned up" to include in a legal document. And "Old Man", that wasn't used when I was growing up in the 70s. But its Utah, so maybe.
LIked the 2nd one. But "Fuzz" is 60s and "On the lamb" sounds like 30s/40s. Rest is taken from 19th century prose, hence the "Ken burns civil war soundtrack".

Ok, I'll admit to ONE love letter to my (now) husband (them fairly new boyfriend) that I wrote in a character voice - he was... puzzled, to say the least. So I guess it's not entirely outside the realm of possibilities that this guy actually texted like this. But it still sounds phony.
The odd word choice makes it more likely they are authentic. A fake text would be more normal.

I have no idea why these were included in the charging documents. There was no good reason for that.

I discarded the idea these texts were genuine after I first read through them, because they're so stilted. My first thought was that the script was concocted by guilty parties to throw off the feds from casting a wider net. It didn't occur to me right away that the feds might have created them out of whole cloth. I think it's unlikely, but my opinion of the integrity of federal authorities isn't running at lifetime highs right now, either.
I do suspect there's a deeper trans-furry group complicity, because of all the recent radical violence originating from this group. I guess this will come to light, if true.

Robinson is exceptionally intelligent and possibility of a long-standing conspiracy exists, whereas Lee Harvey Oswald was a man of average intelligence whose paranoid personality made cooperation with others, even his wife, made him a poor choice as a conspirator. Killing J.D. Tippit was an avoidable act of rage. Oswald was doomed to being caught. Shooting Kennedy from his place of employment -- arrest and conviction was as predictable as the sunrise. He had no plan of escape, no plan to dispose of the rifle. Robinson could have talked his way out of a similar confrontation, as could anyone else able to keep his cool, but not Lee Harvey Oswald.

No no no no no. Hitting human target at 140 yards from a rest with a scoped rifle is not at all difficult. I'd bet that 80% of the readers of this forum, to include inexperienced elderly and/or female ones, could do this on the first shot with 5 minutes of training.
Rifle accuracy is mainly about using a rest and staying focused. Don't flinch from recoil, and don't trying to shoot when standing up.
Walking along goofily with half the rifle shoved down his pants was not professional. Assembling a non-take down rifle with a screwdriver on a rooftop was not professional. Carrying it around in a towel/blanket was not professional. Leaving it in the bushes with handprints is not professional. Taking the (likely traceable) rifle from a family member was not professional. Writing ANY text messages was not profesional.
