"'Up arrow, right arrow, and three down arrow symbols'... appears to be a reference to a sequence of controller moves that unleashes bombs in the popular video game Helldivers 2."

"Another phrase on the cartridges, 'Notices bulges OwO what’s this?' is used for trolling, with roots in online role-play communities. Some of the other messages on the unfired cartridges appear more politically straightforward, including one that says, 'Hey fascist! Catch!'... Another featured the words 'Bella ciao,' an apparent reference to an Italian song adopted by the antifascist resistance during World War II. It is still sung by the Italian left and in other countries.... and it also appears in a recent Netflix series."

What Netflix series? ChatGPT tells me it's the Spanish drama-thriller series "Money Heist," which involves robbers in red jumpsuits and Salvador Dalí masks breaking into Spain’s mint and printing money. The use of the song suggests a connection between that money heist and the historical fight against fascism. The song "Bella ciao" originated "as an anthem of Italian partisans fighting Mussolini and the Nazis."

One must infer that the murderer envisioned himself as an antifascist hero. Presumably, he was able to see what happened to Luigi Mangione.

“Friend from high school…” Robinson’s family said Tyler had become more political just lately, hmmm, who knew him better, his family or old high school friend. Also possibly trying to muddy the waters. I can see why the right would not want it to come out that Tyler was really a far right extremist.

It's unbelievable.

The killer could come right out himself - in front of a microphone - openly admit he's a leftist, that he hates Trump, he hated Charlie Kirk, thinks all Republicans are a bunch of Nazis and there are people here who would STILL deny he's one of theirs.

You people are insane. There's really no other word for it.

Actually it is quite rational. In fact what they are doing has worked for thousands of years.

If Elon had not bought X I guarantee that the dominant narrative would be that this was a groyper from a hard right family in a deep red state had killed Kirk.

These people pushed Russian Collusion for 6 years. It was a completely fabricated story, absolutely discredited, and some of them still profess it. We even now know that Obama and Hillary worked with the Russians to create it.

It is only now that the truth is widely known because we are able to talk about it on X. Without X these leftists would have all the cover they need.

As it is now everyone can see how dishonest and pathetic they are. What they are doing is nothing new though and it has worked for them for decades.

Bolt-action hunting rifles of this type can be owned by civilians in EVERY country in Europe, even the UK. In fact, even in Japan there are some 200,000 people who legally possess such rifles, primarily hunters and farmers in rural areas. This is a prominent right wing voice, Trump’s little darling.

“Before his assassination in September 2025, far-right influencer Laura Loomer accused Turning Point USA executive director Charlie Kirk of betraying Donald Trump. Loomer's past criticism of Kirk resurfaced on social media immediately after his death, leading to ridicule of her shift from lambasting him as a "charlatan" to defending his legacy.

Details of the situation:
The accusation: Loomer had called Kirk a "charlatan" who had "backstabbed" Trump in a social media post less than two months before Kirk was shot and killed. The specific reason for Loomer's anger is not detailed in the available search results, but it was noted amid online tensions within the conservative movement.

The assassination: Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University.

The backlash: Following Kirk's death, Loomer quickly changed her stance, demanding that the Trump administration "shut down, defund & prosecute every single leftist organization" in response. Her sudden reversal was widely mocked online, as she had previously attacked Kirk.

The online conflict: The incident highlighted the deep rifts and "culture wars" within the conservative media ecosystem, even as many expressed grief over Kirk's death. The conservative response to the tragedy was swift and partisan, with figures like Loomer and others calling for aggressive action against their political opponents.”

And there was a point where the median, newly arrived Harvard kid in 2006 was a career obsessed striver and their conversation with you was: “When do I get promoted, and how much do I get paid, and when do I end up running the company?” And that was the thing.

By 2013, the median newly arrived Harvard kid was like: “[expletive] it. We’re burning the system down. You are all evil. White people are evil. All men are evil. Capitalism is evil. Tech is evil.”

Thats what your universities have become, and that, exactly, is what Kirk was fighting against. Its not a question of leadership or funding, its a poisonous mass culture. Its the Dostoevsky situation.

But today an entirely different consensus has emerged on the right. The footprint of the oratorically proficient late-night streaming show host has not dwindled in the least, with his tens if not hundreds of thousands of alienated young male conservatives followers known as Groypers, a nickname derived from an alt-right meme. If anything, his anti-Israel, anti-immigrant, anti-transgender and anti-civil-rights views seem to have gained new currency during the second Trump administration.

There is now growing alarm among leading conservatives about Mr. Fuentes, who routinely tests the cultlike devotion of his young male fans by savaging their patriarchal figure, President Trump, for not being right-wing enough. In the process, he has emerged as one of the loudest voices on the right to turn on the president.

“When I was a teenager, I thought he was a Caesar-like figure who was going to save Western civilization,” Mr. Fuentes, 27, said in an interview. “Now I view him as incompetent, corrupt and compromised.”

"Trump's supporters are fascists"
"Trump is a Nazi"
“Trump's supporters are Nazis"
"Trump is a dictator and he will end our democracy"

“Trump’s supporters are an existential threat to democracy”

“This fascist administration didn’t come from anywhere... We’re gonna fight, fight, FIGHT!” --AOC

All of those words come out of elite democrats in positions of power. That rhetoric trickles down and emboldens the leftist cultists to act. Formerly normal teens and young adults - radicalized.

The entire cult of democratic buy into all of that. they are collectively hypnotized with hate - and they are addicted to that hate, and they want more. and they want blood and death. After all -Trump is a Nazi, to they feel duty bound to kill him. ..and anyone who agrees with him. This is also called communism.

One thing you will never hear discussed in the right wing Charlie Kirk assassination blog threads is that the vast majority of mass murders are committed by heterosexual, white, male, Republican conservatives. It's not just Timothy McVeigh, who assassinated 168 innocent people, including 19 day care children, but right wing Republicans like Robert Bowers, the man who killed 11 worshipers at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh on October 27, 2018.
Bowers was found guilty on all 63 federal charges against him, which included hate crimes resulting in death, and was sentenced to death.
Details of the attack and conviction:
Motive: The attack was driven by antisemitic beliefs and white supremacy. Before the shooting, Bowers posted on the social media site Gab expressing his hatred for the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) and immigrants.
Victims: During Shabbat morning services, Bowers entered the synagogue and killed 11 people from the Tree of Life, Dor Hadash, and New Light congregations.

Ortega y Gasset said "I am I and my circumstances". Which is correct, and obviously correct. We are ourselves, and the sea of influences in which we marinate. Most political acts are not the result of individual, unique creative imagination (well, maybe Sept 11 was), but the result of a storm of collective will, as it were, sometimes finding a loose stone, which sends it flying.
It IS an argument against free will, philosophically. But practically it IS an argument for collective punishment.

Jaq said...

No matter how people felt about the atrocities at Ruby Ridge, I don't remember people coming out simping for McVeigh the way people are for this guy, or justifying his actions in the same manner.

But you go ahead with your project of demonizing white men.

"Black and white males, excluding gang violence, have the highest rates of mass shootings among demographic groups, with 0.09 incidents per 100,000 people.

White Americans committed 53% of the 195 mass shootings between 1966 and 2024.

Black Americans committed 21% of all targeted mass public shootings between 1966 and 2024.

Across all racial groups, 98% of mass shooters are male, with no female mass shooters reported among Asians and Latinos."

White Americans made up 58% of the population, so yeah, the "vast majority" are white. Notice though that gang violence is excluded.

"Radicalization": Do we really understand that process? Sometimes it's a direct line from a conversion moment to a complete ideology. Sometimes people snuffle around a variety of competing radical ideologies looking for one that satisfies. If he was DSA, though, it's pretty clear he was on the left. Whatever happened to SDUSA, the friendly Reaganite socialists?

The "vast majority of mass murders" committed in today's America aren't ideologically motivated at all, and we've already mentioned that ADL statistics are distorted. The acts of criminal gangs which define themselves as Nazis or Aryans are added to "right-wing extremist" statistics, when the acts of other criminal gangs are considered apolitical.

No, Tyler Robinson was not a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Following the murder of Charlie Kirk, for which Robinson was arrested, social media users shared claims and photos alleging that Robinson was a DSA member. However, the organization and reliable news sources debunked these claims.
Key facts about the DSA claim:
A national spokesperson for the DSA stated that there was no member named Tyler Robinson registered anywhere in the country.
The Salt Lake Tribune and other news outlets confirmed with the DSA that the photos circulating online were not of Robinson.
Public voter registration records indicate that Robinson was not affiliated with any political party.

So according to the official denials, Robinson wasn't an official, dues-paying member of DSA. Fair enough. That does fit the generalization that people who are part of an organized group are less likely to commit terror acts than the unaffiliated and alienated.

But did he attend meetings and rallies without becoming a member? That remains to be seen. Third party vendors are already using Robinson's name online to sell Salt Lake DSA merchandise. That doesn't have the organization's approval, but it is indicative of the overlap between DSA's fellow travelers and the shooter's new fans.

It's also possible to get shunted into spam by the machine. We try to keep an eye on that and release the miscaught good stuff. We do delete some comments, but not for viewpoint... for bad faith.
