When accessing Blogger on my iPhone some comments have multiple time stamps. They look cool and really make a post stand out. Mine only have one time stamp. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
All the exterior limestone comes from the same quarry, Howard. That’s why. People are expected to WALK on it not drag an impromptu steel stylus across it. Your modest attempt to blame shift was not subtle and keeping to the high standard you have set in prior comments.

We all know that the lefties here would be calling Trump an idiot if he didn’t use the same batch of White House limestone set aside for just such a purpose. “He’s breaking tradition!” As it is they had to settle for lying about it and presenting the story as Trump paving over the (entire) Rose Garden, probably because Michelle planted something and Trump’s a racist, with carefully framed photos of the patio that did not show the flowers adjacent to it, most of which were already there.
Some limestone is quite hard, as limestone actually encompasses a spectrum from soft chalk (gypsum) to hard limestone (marble). I’m not surprised New England shysters substituted cheap soft materials for expensive hard ones knowing the cheated were not going to live long enough to see the con. Yankees are notoriously stingy types.
I expect the architects of the White House did not mimic the Boston tombstone vendors. But still, softer than steel is a high standard.

Why do people think killing Putin is a good idea? That would increase the chances of nuclear holocaust by an order of magnitude. Assassinating Putin in Russia would do something very similar to what assassinating Trump would do to the United States.
