Now, we get more lies as the diagnosis of an aggressive prostate cancer that’s hit Sloe Joe sort of shows what the game plan would’ve been if Biden had run and was re-elected.

Unexpectedly! Three beautiful photos there…

Bomber of California fertility clinic identified, described himself as pro-mortalist</a>

"The bomber at a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, has been identified as a 25-year-old man who left an online manifesto in which he described himself as a pro-mortalist, saying people didn’t give consent to exist.

The suspect is Guy Edward Bartkus, a 25-year-old man from Twentynine Palms, a small city about 35 miles northeast of Palm Springs. He left a 30-minute audio recording in which he explained his motive for the attack.

“I figured I would just make a recording explaining why I’ve decided to bomb an IVF building, or clinic,” he said at the beginning of the recording. “Basically, it just comes down to I’m angry that I exist and that, you know, nobody got my consent to bring me here.”

Describing himself as anti-life, he adds: “I’m very against [IVF], it’s extremely wrong. These are people who are having kids after they’ve sat there and thought about it. How much more stupid can it get?”

Article continues below the player
Bartkus also set up a tripod with a camera in an effort to film his attack, but the file failed to upload to his website, according to law enforcement sources.

In a FAQ section of his website, he further explains that his best friend Sophie shared similar views and recently died after convincing her boyfriend to shoot her as she slept. “IIRC we had agreed that if one of us died, the other would probably soon follow,” Bartkus wrote.

His description seemed to match the death of 27-year-old Sophie Tinney in Fox Island, Washington on April 22. Police arrested her boyfriend, 29-year-old Lars Eugene Nelson, and believe Tinney convinced Nelson to shoot her in the head as she slept. Nelson was charged with second-degree murder.

Bartkus is believed to be the only person who was killed in Saturday’s bombing at American Reproductive Centers, though officials have yet to formally identify his remains. Four other people were injured and taken to hospital.

“Make no mistake, this is an intentional act of terrorism,” an FBI spokesman said at a briefing. The clinic was closed at the time of the attack and all of the stored embryos are believed to be safe."

Interesting story about that mad bomber, outraged at being born without his consent.

I was just reflecting on the idea of him live-streaming and leaving a manifesto. And remembering a similarly deranged killer in New Zealand whose posts were censored by the government. I still can't get over these impulses from the centers of power, similarly here in the US with the school killers. The media is fully capable of performing an analysis without glorification, in the public interest. Now we know, a day after a catastrophic event, what the cause was, who did it, and what their motivation was. How is that not better for a society? Censorship is absolute poison, and officials that do it in the self-virtuous name of 'public safety' are the same.

Guy shoulda read Schopenhauer, who postulated that sexual attraction between a man and a woman is caused by the will to be born of their future child.

So, he didn't just consent, he demanded to be born.

I agree about the censorship regimes--that shit needs to stop.

I had a college friend who read too much philosophy, took it seriously, lived on a trust fund, screwed his ex-wife in a surprise divorce by lying, the wife who worked hard for a living to support him, moved in next door, married that woman within a month, impregnated the new wife, which was all the old wife wanted, then hung himself to be discovered by the new wife when she brought the baby home, leaving a note that quoted Schopenhauer.

Meanwhile, he also courted me and bought me a book called "The Single Vegan." He wanted me to eat a restricted vegan diet with him every day. Fuck leftist assholes. I mean fuck them forever in hell.

The baby's name is Hope. Also fuck philosophers.

James Comey just happened upon some shells on the beach.

Kill Trump

It's an interesting thing. But there's something even MORE interesting.

Not a single journalist has asked James Comey where he was walking when he happened upon this threat that he just noticed lying on the ground and took a photo of.

Not a single.

One.

The shells would still be there, no?

Jaq said...

Comey is the kind of guy who has puff pieces written about him by the Washington Post, not who is asked difficult questions.

Remember, both Comey and Mueller were "Republicans" (wink wink) Not only Republicans, but "proteges of Eric Holder"!

Jaq: Robert Mueller was appointed as FBI Director by George H. W. Bush, and he continued in that position through all terms of presidents Clinton, George W. Bush, and during Obama's first term. Jim Comey followed Mueller at the FBI during Obama's final term and until Trump fired him. Holder became A.G. when Obama assumed the presidency in 2009. That means that the word "protégé" does not apply here, since Eric neither hired nor fired any FBI Directors.

I don't watch the show, but I do look ahead at upcoming guests on the late night shows just to see how far late-night 'comedy' has fallen.

This week on Colbert? Not only Bernie Sanders (again) but lawyer James Comey.

Not former FBI director, but lawyer. As if that's his claim to fame, and why he's hitting the circuit.

RCOCEAN II said...

Amazing how irrelevant the Sunday Talk shows are. Who was the great, important guest this Sunday? Mike Pence. LOL

Seems Pence is upset at Trump attacking the neo-cons and globalism in general. Or something. No doubt we'll be hearing from Nikki Haley next week.

RCOCEAN II said...

Comey is a liberal Democrat, like his wife and daughters. He helped schumer destroy AG alberto Gonzales during the Bush 2nd term, and got rewarded with the FBI Directorship.

Anyone can register as a Republican. Even Gadfly.

BTW, Comey - the teenage girl trapped in a mans body - is snarking at the current FBI director.

Maybe the Schopenhauer quote was from the essay in which he rants endlessly about everything being too noisy. (Seriously).

The problem with Philosophers and people who read too much Philosophy (or read it unwarily) is that they end up having WAY too much faith in their own logical reasoning, which is never as rigorous as they believe it to be. When all you have are chains of reasoning, it's too easy to 'reason' yourself right into Crazyland, and that's where many "philosophical" people end up--not because they've "stared into the abyss" or anything so dramatic, but because they've 'reasoned' themself into believing harmful things.

Maybe, just maybe, the prostate cancer did just appear, suddenly, stage 9. One of those turbo cancers that some claim to be a side effect of the mRNA shots. Methinks they'd rather admit to a cover up. Which I believe is the case.

But maybe...

If, after the election, Jake Tapper could find over 200 people to tell him anonymously how bad Joe’s cognitive acuity was, why didn’t he do that, say, two or three years prior, when questions were mounting? Surely he could’ve had a “scoop” with just a handful of these same sources. We all know the answer.

There is a viral video trend called “black fatigue”… that’s black men in army fatigues doing TikTok dance.
No, it’s actually black on black behaviour criticism. As far as I know, it has not been called out as racist by the powers that make themselves the arbiter of such judgments.

I’m going to go ahead and blame Trump for this. It’s the safest thing to do, when something is likely to go sideways. Knowwhatimean knowwhatimean, nudge nudge, say no more.

They didn’t give consent for him to blow them up, either.

This is the logical conclusion of our society’s weird obsession with consent, where the concept of “bodily autonomy” is taken to extremes where a parent isn’t supposed to pressure their toddler to hug their grandmother, people can be fired, sued, arrested for touching someone’s arm, and colleges can impose laughably unrealistic requirements on consent to sex.

Of course someone was going to start killing people for procreating.

US borrowing costs top 5% after Moody’s downgrade ~ CNBC

"Yields on 30-year US Treasuries hit highest level since 2023 and stock futures fall as investor concerns over debt mount"

"Trump put pressure on his party’s lawmakers to vote in favour of the tax bill. “Republicans MUST UNITE behind, ‘THE ONE, BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL!’” he wrote on social media on Friday. “We don’t need “GRANDSTANDERS” in the Republican Party. STOP TALKING, AND GET IT DONE!”

The legislation includes hundreds of billions in new tax cuts, not offset by spending changes, and is expected to increase the federal deficit, which reached 6.4% of GDP in 2024—well above levels economists consider sustainable long-term.

Trump’s on the hook for the tax cuts but cannot find the savings. Slowly at first…

A bigger deficit means more Treasury bonds, driving down prices and lifting yields. Bondholders are performing the role of the "Adult in the room".

Jaq said...

Gee, who spent all of that money and ran out debt through the roof? Who passed the "Inflation Reduction Act" that was really a trillion dollar spending bill of money we don't have so that affluent people's third car can be an EV?

Had we only re-elected Joe Biden, or his kewpie doll avatar Kamala, the bill would never have come due!

"The legislation includes hundreds of billions in new tax cuts, not offset by spending changes, and is expected to increase the federal deficit"? Really? Expected by whom?

The idea that tax cuts necessarily increase the deficit was refuted by Reagan, whose tax cuts led to an increase in revenues averaging $80 billion a year, every year, over and above inflation. Tax increases often lead to a decline in revenue. (Of course, Congress under Reagan increased spending even more than the tax cuts increased revenue, but that's another question.)

Static revenue modeling - the assumption that a 10% tax cut or tax increase will cause a 10% decrease or increase in revenues - has been proven false. Because the level of taxation has a strong effect on people's willingness to work and invest, a tax cut of X% will always decrease revenue by less than X%, and will sometimes increase it, while a tax increase of X% will always bring in less than X% more revenue, often far less, and may decrease it.

Jaq said...

"Interest on the U.S. national debt is now 20% of total federal revenue and rising -- We borrow every dollar just to pay interest."

The only way out of a trap like this, which is not the fault of the guy who just took office a few short months ago, is to grow the economy. And grow it in a way that benefits all Americans, not just the wealthy donors to both political parties.

Jaq said...

Grow the economy while maintaining tight control of the growth of government. It's funny how all o the people who called Trump and Musk "nazis" for trying to ferret out waste and fraud in all of this spending are complaining about deficits as if Trump invented them, and as if the last guy cared even a tiny bit about deficit spending.

Kakistocracy said...

MAGA Republicans say charts like this are wrong because tax cuts, deregulation and increased oil-and-gas production will accelerate economic growth so much that extra tax revenue covers the costs.

They don’t seem to be factoring in Trump’s tariffs and immigration crackdown.
