"We don’t need @jaketapper or anyone else to tell us Biden has been increasingly senile since the 2020 election. We need them to tell us who was actually running the federal government from 2020-2024 and how they did it. You’re not coming clean until you come clean about that."
At X.

Damn' right!
"You’re not coming clean until you come clean about that." Of course. But the Tapper book is just part of the Dem gaslighting CYA operation. Coming clean means exposing their filthy politics and continual lying. The Dem/MSM moral rot goes all the way down and across. Coming clean is the last thing they want to do.
This was a criminal conspiracy. There were thousands of people in Washington DC that knew Biden was a puppet and they used their puppet to shovel money into NGOs that they ran and shovel money into infrastructure projects that their companies benefited from.
They use the DOJ FBI, and Other government agencies to censor the truth, and I cover up for their conspiracy.
There are thousands of people who deserve to hang for what they did to our system of government and the crimes that they have committed.
Who says they're interested in 'coming clean'?
Oh, yeah! Well. Trump has dementia!
(Just thought I'd save the usual suspects the effort. You know they're going to say it.)
Joe Biden was so infirm mentally that he couldn't be charged with federal felony crimes by the special counsel - Robert Hur.
And yet, someone with access to the White House signed a bunch of preemptive pardons using an autopen. That clearly wasn't Joe "Alzheimer's" Biden. He didn't have the mental capacity to order those pardons.
So who signed those fake pardons?
Although I don't follow him, I was under the impression that Alex Thompson was reporting on Biden's decline for a few years - and getting push back from Dems and other journalists for it. This book, and him teaming up with Tapper, makes me question my earlier impression.
I think I got that idea from an Honestly podcast with the Axios founders. Now I think that was just BS in advance of this book. If Thompson really was reporting on Biden's decline, I can't imagine why he would partner up with Tapper who denied there was anything wrong, until suddenly he didn't.
No shit, Sherlock!
True, but for the partisan hacks that populate the media nowadays that's as important as selling books, TV face time, and leading the public focus down rabbits holes.
then they should have thompson not tapper front the book
The left's plan to import millions of illegals - now goes all the way up to John Roberts.
Biden was all-in as loyal puppet... with the radical nightmare agenda. The mobsters had him by the short hairs. still do.
Whoever was doing it, that would be really illegal, right? Maybe treasonous? Usurping the President's powers?
I watched a YouTube video of a game theme song that referred to The Ring of Gyges. I asked Copilot what that was.
Copilot Answer
"The Ring of Gyges is a concept from Plato's Republic, where a shepherd named Gyges discovers a ring that grants him invisibility. With this power, he seduces the queen, kills the king, and takes over the kingdom, raising questions about morality and justice when one can act without fear of consequences. The story illustrates the idea that invisibility and anonymity can lead to unjust actions, challenging the notion of whether people would remain good if they could do anything without being caught."
Althouse keeps running articles asking who was running the Biden administration, and why did they try to run him for another term. Are you waiting for someone to spit out The Ring of Gyges?
Maybe you could ask Grok to analyze the invisible people behind the Biden administration using Plato's Ring of Gyges as a template. Grok is smarter than I am and would give a better educated answer. On the other hand, it won't make the connection unless you point it out to it.
Robert Hur absolutely knew that the POTUS was in no way competent to drive a bus, much less run a country. Or he was convinced the President was faking senility to avoid criminal charges.
This is why the Stephen types need to stuff their judicial supremacy doctrine sideways. This is how you get Trump.
I can offer a partial answer: the person in charge of the federal government in 2020 was Donald Trump.
After that, I'm not sure! The Afghanistan debacle and the stupidity of the baby formula shortage made it clear that there was no effective executive. Executives don't just give orders, they make sure they are carried out correctly.
Balfegor left a good comment in a previous thread. One of his points was that, with a senile Biden, the unelected bureaucracy could do what it wanted, and the 2024 election was a referendum on that.
The only way some of them might come clean is when they are under oath in front of a grand jury.
Vice President not doing her job. Congress pretending…86 rule of law…
If and unelected cabal was signing executive orders, and bills passed by congress into law, then it is all illegal, illegitimate, and should be null a void. The story can't be told. It's the "love that dare not speak its name." But even if this all comes to a constitutional head, I'm sure John Roberts will find a way to say it's ok in order to "protect the integrity of the courts."
Liberals and Democrats who knew Biden wasn't in charge of the gov't are ok with it. (That's ALL of them). They just have to pretend to be surprised in retrospect. MAGA knew Biden wasn't in charge of anything. We knew he was a puppet. And we don't work at universities or have PHD's.
The reason that no one will pay is that approximately half the
country was and still is totally fine with the deception. Anyone but Trump!
What I'm anticipating is that probably no one will confess to usurping the office of the presidency and the authority of the Executive Branch; no informant will come forward; those publishing books and airing stories about Biden's infirmity will continue to focus on Biden's infirmity and not what it implies about our government over the past four years; and all of this folderol will provide just enough cover that the perps (the perpetrators of the lie, that is; I don't know about the fake presidents) can keep on keeping on.
" the unelected bureaucracy could do what it wanted." And that's why you got a repeat of the Ford/Carter economic policies. It's useful to know: when the system is controlled by a "pandemonium" process in which whichever sub-until happens to be screeching loudest gets its way, you end up with a gusher of useless government spending, high inflation, and flailing foreign policy.
In other words, even bad leadership is preferable to no leadership (despite every government worker I've ever met believing that the best thing for the country would be for the elected officials to get out of the way of the permanent bureaucracy).
Lindy Li, former Dem fund raiser and insider, has been hitting the podcast circuit, naming names of the cabal that ran things in Biden's name. The only one I ever heard of was Jill Biden. The rest are a bunch of nobodies.
The 25th Amendment needs to be fixed. We can’t allow this to happen again.
The 25th Amendment is fine. The elected Vice President didn't do her job, nor did the appointed cabinet members, nor the elected Democratic leadership in Congress. They could have forced Biden out, or at least forced a contested primary. They chose not to.
Eventually, the voters took care of it. Don't try to go around the voters. They don't like it.
Somewhere, I saw a book excerpt that they were already making accommodations for Biden's mental deficiencies during the 2020 campaign. Yet it didn't leak, nor did anyone say STOP! People need to be punished severely for this and have their careers ruined. It's a five year political crime of the first rank, even if no actual laws were broken.
We also need to find out who and how Warren and Bootface were pushed out after the SC primary.

Thing is Trump is just the latest escalation. We elected Trump because we want the policies he got elected on.
The courts were never elected and the powers they seized with Marbury v Madison were never intended and are at their core undemocratic and a threat to a Republican form of Government.
If the courts manage to actually stop Trump through the powers they usurped with Marbury then we will elect the first person who says they will impeach every federal judge currently seated and start over from scratch with actual Judges who will stay in their lane.
These Pharisees have got to go.
Dave Begley, I know you're a lawyer so you likely feel there is a legal solution for everything. I think the downside of 'fixing' the 25th Amendment to make it easier to implement would be a huge mistake. Take a look at what has happened to impeachment votes in the modern House. A 25th Amendment procedure that could be invoked at a similar threshold would just give the opposition party another stick to beat the President. Given how an impeachment vote has now come to mean little more than "we don't like you and can find a 'high crime' to claim you committed', I guarantee that it would be used the same way. The 25th could have been but was clearly not designed to remove a President who is at least minimally in control of his faculties because it was implemented in the middle of the Cold War where it was critical to be able to replace a President who was uncommunicative but still alive. The whole section 4 procedure is a bar to the kind of internal coup that would have been necessary to replace Biden.
As Steve Austin notes, this is a political question for voters to resolve. I certainly share what I suspect is your fear the rank and file of the Democrat party may very well not find anything wrong with the situation because it kept Trump out of office for four years, and implemented policies favored by the most vocal Democrat supporters. Hopefully now losing two elections to him may convince a critical mass of Democrats the way their leadership operates is unhealthy and not in their best interests. It certainly seems to have convinced various formerly Democrat-leaning demographics that supporting the party is a losing proposition.
My neighbor at the time was a true yellow dog Democrat. We discussed Biden in 2019. I asked him if he honestly did not see signs of cognitive decline in Biden. He said, "Sure". But then stated he was still voting for Joe. They knew. We knew. Everyone knew.
Go back to sleep now.
Biden being nominated in 2020 and continuing in office for his entire term, only not being re-nominated because we all saw 60+ minutes of him live, removed any doubt that we have a government of political parties, not of laws or of men. And often, just a government of effectively a single political party that masquerades as two.
Anita Dunn, the publicly self-avowed Maoist, was high up in the inner circle. She has also declared that America is evil. She has long been in Obama's inner circle. And there is no way the lesser-known operatives, nor Tapper, didn't know this.
So maybe we should also be asking if this was directly a treasonous plot to destroy America.
It's easy to understand why permanent Washington views the MAGA rabble as an existential threat - MAGA aren't people, they are dairy cows to be milked and yet a stampede of them could trample the milkers. Beyond that, milking is lucrative. Your nice house and lifestyle in Silver Spring or Fairfax is at risk if the MAGA peel anything back. So the incentives in that case are clear, and if it requires staging a four-year Weekend at Biden's to keep the MAGA out, that's perfectly copacetic.
What I don't understand is what Donk voters get out of the deal. I live in the Twin Cities and lived in Chicago before that, and most people in both places recognize that their rulers are scoundrels, but they continually return them to office anyway. Walz and Pritzker are Rocky and Bullwinkle villains, but they win almost by acclimation. And if you try to ask the question in polite circles, you are cast into the outer darkness.
On June 5, 2009, while working for Obama, Dunn gave a speech calling Mao one of her two favorite philosphers, whom she turned to frequently for guidance. In other speeches, she even held up Mao's little red book and advocated for revolution. As a close personal friend of the Obamas in Chicago, she knew of their deep entanglement with Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohn, who advocated starting race wars and putting about 25% of "resistant" Americans into prisoner camps. She has lied about knowledge of this eight-year, intimate, constant contact between the Obamas and these terrorists. Robert Bauer, her husband, served as council to Obama and later as advisor to President Biden. Obama has called him one of his closest advisors and friends. These are the people who orchestrated Obama's lies about his real ties to terrorists (who kept Michelle from divorcing Barack -- Dohrn was Michelle's legal mentor) and helped, if not led, the installation of Biden in the White House and the cover-up of Biden's mental state. Jill Biden is just devious window-dressing.
Which explains her wardrobe. I just hope Michelle Obama, wounded by revelations of Barack's affair; his choosing her to have a politically useful black spouse, and his continued contact with the white love of his life, finally does some black girl magic and sinks the whole ship. Either her mother or grandmother (I don't recall) groused to Scott Turow (another liar hiding the Obama-terrorist ties) at one dinner at the Ayers/Dohrn house that she didn't want Michelle's girls to grow up to be terrorists, like current company.
There are a lot of people to expose. The problem is that they are such communist extremists that it is difficult for people to believe it.
