Lawn signs at the White House.

"The White House lawn is lined with posters of 100 of the 'worst illegal immigrant criminals' arrested in the first 100 days of President Donald Trump's second term" (Fox News).

How great is this?

I say there will be a big capture and raid of MS-13 and TdA illegal aliens over Memorial Day. Trump then suspends the writ of habeas corpus as to MS-13 and TdA and they are all in prison in El Salvador before Judge Boasberg can get back to his chambers from the Hamptons.

Awesome. Are they rigged up to a shock device to deter the dems from stealing them?

My guess is they will deport a small number of people with an emphasis on criminals, then Trump will strike an amnesty deal in a year or so. Trump has talked about making an amnesty deal for many years.

Reduced excess affirmative criminal actions/actors. Progress, yes?

They look too much like the 10/7 hostage posters. The MSM could flip the script and pose in front of these, turning the deportation into a hostage crisis. But maybe that's what Trump wants them to do.

While I support removing these criminals ASAP, the great unwashed out here are constantly asking when is someone powerful getting arrested, one of the people who facilitated this invasion and or profited from it, or any of the rapists from the Epstein list? We have lots of victims and evidence, but nothing happens.

An illegal immigrant commits a serious crime, and if they get caught, the punishment is being sent home. Seems like a pretty mild deterrent, and unfair to our citizen criminals.

I've often thought we should put 'em in our jails and when they get out, 20 years down the road, then deport them. Too expensive, I guess.

While I agree 100% on arresting and deporting illegal aliens who knowingly broke the laws to enter the country And agree 10,000% to deport violent criminals. Why should we bear the burden of housing these criminals. Send them home...or anywhere else

However, I'm torn on what to do with the children (who were brought here by their parents who are probably still illegally here).....The kids have grown up in the US for many years and are innocent bystanders of their parents or other adults illegality.

The kids who were young kindergarten or elementary school age. Went to schools, graduated from high school. Have jobs....probably have known nothing else in their lives. What to do with them? Deport to an unknown country where they know no one and maybe even don't speak the language?

But..then......where is the cut off line for saying...you can stay....and you can't. What a quagmire.

Original Mike said...

"What a quagmire."

The truly awful thing is that it was by design.

Dust Bunny Queen said...

@Bago.....there are millions of illegals criminally in the country....and many hundreds of thousands of violent/criminal illegal aliens.

To put all of those in jail/prison would be an incredible expense. The numbers of prisons to be built would be staggering. Staffing, feeding and humanely taking care of prisoners would bankrupt the country....as if we aren't already bankrupt.

There is no rehabilitating many of these people. Unless we plan to keep them confined for life, the problem/violence/crime will just keep repeating itself.

A quick trip to take the trash out, back to their country of origin would be the cheaper and better option.

A display such as that would be frowned upon by our HOA.

Trump tried to do a daca deal but the democrats said no. I’m not sure he could get away with an amnesty deal. Maybe if he said ok as long as they are not counted in the census/apportionment until they become citizens. Democrats will balk and another winning position.

I really like the location of these signs. They aren't lined up facing Lafayette Park or Pennsylvania Ave. The signs are lined up along the WH driveway leading up to the diplomatic entrance to the West Wing - the precise location of where all the news network talking heads line up to do their reports for newscasts.

As I recall, the democrats said no because it was tied to building the wall. The 11 million person invasion we have seen the last four years was already in their plans.

The purpose in bringing in millions of unvetted illegals was to create a humanitarian nightmare.
They all, need to go back. Kids included.
Why is reacting to an invasion seen as cruel, when those who voted for, financed and created this mess sit back and scream about rights.
Yes it sucks. Yes it is difficult to do. Do you want a country or not?
The Dems spent billions, billions, on bringing illegals in, feeding them, housing them, and promoting them for voting and census. those billions came from us, the people who have been treated like aliens in our own country. We have been shat on, and raped, assaulted and murdered. And now we are portrayed as cruel and inhuman by the left, and the typical trolls on this blog.
It needs to happen. The people who are cruel and inhuman are the Democrats, and their republican allies, who willingly spent our money to destroy America.

Jupiter said...

"However, I'm torn on what to do with the children ...".
As you were intended to be.
Look. There are nine billion people on Earth, and a large percentage of them are children. Either they have a right to be in my country, because you have feewies, or else they don't. I say they don't, but I'm prepared to make a compromise. If you have US citizenship, you can choose one illegal alien and allow him to stay. But. You have to go. You don't get to expand the number of US citizens, just to show what a generous person you are. It's easy being generous with other people's property.

For every picture, there are a thousand more crime victims attacked by illegals. For every picture, there are 150,000 illegals stealing our tax dollars and jobs. I'm all for keeping the murderers, rapists, and child molesters in our prisons. They'll just make their way back across the border if they can, or victimize innocents back home. The rest need to be deported. Are their other countries that give special shelter wholescale to all "dreamers"? We had a system that worked well until Bush I. He and Biden grew rich off their backs, and our backs.

I understand the need to build a solid case, and for most of these miscreants I am willing to wait until sometime next year, but there is some unfinished business from quite a few years ago that can and should be promptly addressed.

It's been three or four years ago now that Ghislaine Maxwell became the first person ever convicted of trafficking young girls for immoral purposes to NOBODY AT ALL, AND DON'T YOU MEDIA TYPES ASK ANY MORE QUESTIONS IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU.

I believe the scum who bought and raped these poor girls are well known to the authorities, and trials could have been held months or years ago, but they were protected by their fellow scum in the government and media. Let's crucify them all, both the rapists and those who obstructed justice on their behalf.

Dreamers who join the military -- I knew one -- merit special consideration. I also support a Marshall-like plan, on a smaller scale, to help some of our neighbors as we return their citizens to them. Negotiate no-harm repatriation in exchange for other commitments to build more stable democracies. Then return to pre-Bush I temporary work visas, with no citizenship for babies born while working here.

Ice Nine said...

You all understand, don't you, that this is sort of empty cheerleading for Trump's big deportation promise - a promise performance that is going to peter out in a few months when he and ICE have done everything they can to get just these creeps out and had to fight the courts every inch of the way to accomplish it. Maybe accomplish it. Those leftist lawfare judges aren't going away, you know, and they are just licking their chops over the first case of Senor and Senora Nice Illegal Immigrant and their six nice little illegal kids that comes before the Court. Ditto the MSM.

I've said since the get-go that Trump should be gradually mixing in increasing numbers of non-hard criminal illegals to mitigate the impending shockwave of what I mentioned above. The daily ball spiking of a few MS13 arrests on FOX and this sort of lawn sign rah rah tokenism is badly misguided and is going to make the coming problem with deportations even worse.

It's nice to get these thugs out of here, for sure, but, really, if anyone thinks the vaunted mass deportation of Biden's 20million wetbacks is going to get much beyond MS13 and TDA, they are dreaming. Most of those 20M will amnestied voters in a matter of years. Face the dismal fact.

The illusion of something getting done, making Democrats angry, and the media focused on something else, is old school theatrics for distraction. Considering the known seditionists in the Capitol, constant subterfuge against the current administration, and the economic stress on most taxpayers, either the shifted focus is on hiding the fecklessness, or hiding things from prying eyes. The signs are an indication, and a diversion.

You need to stop with the signaling. The whole point of "caring about the children" is to make the problem worse.

If you create an incentive for people to come here and drop of children then more people will come here and drop off children. If you allow children to be an anchor here people will use them to be an anchor here.

And the type of people who are willing to use children this way will traffic the children and abuse them.

All of these problems are because the democrat party wants cheap labor for their corporate cronies and children for their pedo games.

You are just facilitating this.

I have no doubt all these 'alleged' criminals were just trying to get their life strait and start again. I guess I didn't make myself clear. I'm not at all against deporting illegal aliens AND their children they brought with them or spawned while here. As Homan said. Families can be deported together. Also just crossing the border illegally and popping out a baby on US soil, shouldn't make the child a citizen. Anchor Babies should be illegal too. US Citizenship is to precious to be given as a prize for illegal activity.

That doesn't mean that I can't have some sense of the quandary, legally and morally that the situation presents. A quagmire.

It should not be controversial to deport gang members and other criminals (who are non-U.S. citizens). However, there should be due process to make sure that only gang members and other criminals are deported.

Lucien said...

Parents of minor children generally control where their children live. If parents have illegally immigrated to a country, had a child, and decide to leave, for whatever reason, they get to keep their child, or leave it with some responsible adult. And if the whole family leaves, for whatever reason, they can send the child back as an unaccompanied minor, so long as there is someone to take care of it. No lawyers or judges required. It’s only if the authorities are in a hurry to effect deportation that the situation becomes difficult.

Yancey Ward said...

"to make sure that only gang members and other criminals are deported."

So, Bich supports deporting people who are in the country illegally. Good to know. The only due process required is to know whether or not someone has a current visa which the government itself knows almost 100% of the time.

Mason G said...

I tend to think the purpose of the pictures is to see if notable Democrats will again ally themselves with violent criminals, as has been their wont over the past few years. Midterms are coming, after all, and Trump will not be able to knock everything off the list by next summer; better (and easier) to make Democrats unelectable. Nothing whatsoever, or at least very little, to do with Trump's base.

Of course, I may be wrong.

boatbuilder said...

It shouldn't be--but it is.

Why should any person not legally in this country be entitled to "due process" to establish that they are not otherwise a "criminal." They have no right to be here.

Trump is deporting only the worst of the worst right now, because he knows that deportation of illegals is an 80/20 issue, and he also knows that all of the libs who "agree" that the hardened criminals should be deported will nonetheless claim that Trump is wrong to deport even the hardened criminals; i.e., they don't really want anybody deported. Which is exactly what they are doing.
80/20.

All of you, each and every one, engendering any kind of sympathy for those poor innocent American citizens forced to leave the USA because their parents are invaders, referred to politely as "illegal immigrants", and making the case for the end of birthright citizenship. It was obvious at time the 14th amendment was adopted that "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" did not mean invaders. An invader doesn't need to be wearing a uniform, or carrying a weapon. Ask anyone who has a home currently occupied by a squatter- protected by the almighty law and idiot judges, who refuse to allow immediate and forceful eviction.

The reason these Democrats and the Deep State Bureaucracy have their judges fighting tooth and nail to fight deportation of the illegal immigrants - criminals or not - is for the same reason the Biden Junta encouraged approximately 16,000,000 of them to cross our borders.

Without them, they are projected to lose 27 seats in the House.
