“Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics…”

“… who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country. Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue, an attack so violent that it will never be forgotten! Sleepy Joe Biden purposefully allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked, through an Open Borders Policy that will go down in history as the single most calamitous act ever perpetrated upon America. He was, by far, our WORST and most Incompetent President, a man who had absolutely no idea what he was doing -- But to him, and to the person that ran and manipulated the Auto Pen (perhaps our REAL President!), and to all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive Moron Elected, I wish you, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a very Happy Easter!!!”

An Easter message. From Donald Trump.

ADDED: Trump took a similar approach to Easter last year:

Trump is one of the braver Presidents. With a hyper controlling Fed our economic growth is based on bubble growth. We financialize everything globally and hope the bubble keeps growing until we win the next election. But Trump gave the bubble a nice kick with the tariffs. A correction occurred, but we found that there was strength enough to find a bottom.

If you recall from previous bubbles it is better to correct the market regularly rather than let it pop in a spectacular crash all at once. But “I Lost Money! Trump is Evil!” Don’t be fooled,

Wow! Liberals jumping on the insult bandwagon! Do any of the categories apply to you? If no, then where's the insult?

Are you fighting and scheming hard to support bringing Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our Country? No? You're just fighting to bring poor innocents wrongfully deported back? Then- no reason to take insult. Is that what you're doing?

Shouldn't be anyone insulted by it, after all, none of it applies. After all, none of those categories really exist. Well, except for Joe Biden... All the opponents of Trump's policies have motives as pure as the driven snow. So there should be no one insulted by this. Except Joe Biden, but no even really him since he's too brain addled to realize he's being insulted.

Trump trolls the idiots ,and it is wonderful to see. The dancing monkeys and seals immediately respond, and the response is predictable, and, as always, hateful, bigoted and a waste of time.
Yet they can't help it. Someone told them, over and over, to hate Trump, and the media prepares a daily 2 min hate, just like Orwell said.
the left can't help themselves, and they continue to become impotent, more blind, and hateful.
Ah, but then they can always rely on their leaders. AOC? Schumer? LOL or sharp as a tack Biden.
It is amusing to sane people. amusing, but pathetic.

I remember the commandment "Thou shall grant violent gangbangers who beat their wives, commit crimes, brandish illegal firearms on social media, get convicted twice in your country, asylum because members of rival gangs in their home countries might harm them, should they cross paths there."

That was a good one, that commandment. I think that Jesus included it in his Sermon on the Mount, the part about how the "meek shall accept whatever gang bangers dish out without complaint." Wasn't it something like that?

Wince said...

Someone had to say it. Like Jesus in the temple. At the time His tantrum was considered decency’s last straw.

It's funny how liberal respect for Christianity goes only so far as they interpret it for their own ends. For example, does a not yet born child have a soul? "Oh, noes! We only want you to practice your religion in the way we tells you to!"

Lazarus said...

It's Trump being Trump. Were he to put on a (different) mask now, it would come across as inauthentic, as just another typical politician being a typical politician. Were he to take a different path today, he'd be attacked for being a hypocrite and sham pious. If he'd be attacked in any case, I guess he prefer to go on fighting.

I really wouldn't want Trump to be as cold-blooded, steely, and vindictive as the biblical God, though. Bluster like this allows him to let off steam and get things out of his system. I wouldn't want those feelings to be bottled up and left to fester.

Interestingly, I seldom see young Progs try this one. Perhaps, not having even childhood experiences with religion, it simply doesn’t occur to them.

I hate the... well, pretty much everything about this "truth" or whatever it's called, and as I have since 2016 (because I never paid him the slightest attention until then), I wish Trump wouldn't be so deliberately inflammatory in his speech. But as others have noted, this is his style. And as Bill Maher recently observed, the man in private life appears temperamentally to be the opposite of the public persona.

As Maher also said in that "book report," isn't it better this way than if Trump really were the character he plays on the public stage, even if he, Maher, would prefer that he were always the private Trump? To that, I'd ask Maher - what it he were the opposite? Calm and reasonable and funny in public, and wild and perpetually angry in private? Given that I haven't come across many people who actually are consistently one way in their public and private lives, I think I prefer what we have - at least, i have his four prior years of harsh rhetoric but reasonable policies to go on.

Nothing in there about the least of my brothers being in prison or anything, right Jaq?

"I was in prison and you visited me" isn't the same thing as "I was in prison and you demanded my release."

I don't like the fact that the Man In Question went straight from walking free (though under a still-extant deportation order, from everything I've read) in the US to imprisoned in his home country. But El Salvador could and can make the call on that. Another thing I don't like is that it's incumbent on all Americans regardless of beliefs to "be Christian" (and a very kindergarten version of "Christian") while every other person can behave in whatever way comes naturally - including embracing the callous cruelty and horrific violence of a criminal gang.

Suppose you die tomorrow, and find you have eternal life. YAY!

EXCEPT---what do you do then? Does learning stop with your death? Somehow do you acquire more knowlege?

If not, suppose some descendant of yours dies a hundred years later, and you meet him in Heaven. How soon will he think you a hopeless rube for not knowing things---history after you died, new science concepts, radical new technologies and the like far beyond your time .

Now run that same scenario 1000 years after your death.

A little historical perspective. 225 years ago during America's founding age the leading gentleman in government admonished each other in the most florid but gentlemanly language you've ever seen in the media and to each other; but then would proceed in private to slice stab and shoot each other up with sabers swords daggers and pistols in duels. The language was better but the violence was real. Nowadays everybody talks s*** but the most that could happen is what, maybe a lawsuit? Vice-president Burr filed no lawsuit when Alexander Hamilton slandered him. No, Mr Burr put a bullet through Hamilton's lung killing him. And so I ask all you moralists which of the two modes is worse? Then or now?

Easter was always the most difficult time, when I was growing up. There is a rawness to the weather, magnifying the rawness of the Holy Week torture and crucifixion, which even the Easter Mass "He is Risen!" never quite smoothed over.
