Epic.
Churchillian.
…make sure your Game Boy is turned on? That’s not tight scripting. Compare with say, Hillary!’s debate answers, perhaps the most tightly scripted spontaneous answers from any politician ever
I would have gone with "...and have your jammies laid out." But yeah, epic.
Now Nah, I just increased his exposure- there, there’s some tight scripting. Nah. Classic…
Sounds like Burchett watches Steve Inman's videos.
Ah, s Steve Inman fan...
As the kids used to say. Burn.
...and as someone recently said There are cameras everywhere.
School newspaper boy…
Yeah. Guy looks like snarky drama student who's late for Gym class.
When I go to the Gym, im more or less forced to see Fox news. I was suprised how much of their content is "owning the libs". And talking about how dumb whoopi Goldberg or some Lefty is.
Good for both of them ! I don't begrudge anybody that decides to take a stab a citizen journalism, whatever their bias. We need more of them because they represent the individual's view, not the view of the approved institutions. The thing not to forget is that deceptive appearances can be helpful - recalling Peter Falk's Columbo.
Watching a Columbia with smoldering Faye Dunaway (Hubba Hubba) right now! Fox does absolutely blow, but they still have about five reporters that are professionals unlike basically everybody else.
I know I wrote COLUMBO!
Clearly, Burchett is a Steve Inman fan! If it was staged, you will know within a day who the soy boy is.
We bombed some pirates.
Not exactly "WAR!"
"The thing not to forget is that deceptive appearances can be helpful - recalling Peter Falk's Columbo."
That was a TV show.
"That was a TV show. ..."
Well.... yeah - that means a lot of people remember it, as an useful example. What does your comment mean? That appearances can never be deceiving, in a way that's helpful to finding out things? That one can't leverage an advantage from being deceptively harmless in appearance? Seems a little off-point.
nothing to says but - right on man. lolz.
Readers of this blog think that's going to leave a mark, but the Gameboy was discontinued in 2003. Is there a better insult to direct at someone who was a pre-teen during the Obama years?
At least he didn't end up with a faceplant like the woman on the subway from yesterday. I'm thinking this dweeb, the subway woman and the actress who won't date white men should get a big ol' tent and start a new Chautauqua circuit so they can share their wisdom to the world as a package deal. They'll be a big hit at the Waushara County Fairgrounds, I would think.
The dweeb would not know what a top secret war plan was if it jumped out of a card deck and pissed mustard all over his shoes.
“Is there a better insult to direct at someone who was a pre-teen during the Obama years?”
Yes… leave the Lego sex toys behind and date real, live people!
The reason why Althouse feels that this exchange was scripted is that she cannot bring herself to believe that a Republican could be intelligent and quick-witted. It’s got to be phony because every non-STEM professor just knows that Republicans are stupid.
When I first saw the video I thought it was dubbed. The “reporter” needs to practice how to react to situations like that, he just gave up.
Burchett uses the same verbiage as Steve Inman on X.
If you click the link to Twitter, he says he sees the sky like twice a day. It sounds like he is always trying to find the representative and harass him so in that case probably he has plenty of time to think of sick burns. Probably not scripted.

Could be. But I'm betting that it has more to do with her not believing that the obscure Rep. Tim Burchett has a videographer following him around everywhere he goes.
I don't think the interaction was scripted, but it does feel like Burchett has been walking around with that line locked and loaded for just such a situation. He probably has a few lines at the ready.
If I were being followed around by a person recording me I would probably develop some sort of script.
Kill shot
If Kamala can memorize her lines - It's Ok to have a few zingers tucked away. Even if they are rehearsed.

If the link doesn't seem related, take a closer look at the Game Boy boy.
Hilarious! Burchett smoked him like a cheap cigar.
I know Tim. That's him, naturally. His wife loves him for keeping her laughing (and he is a good family man).
Nobody has come back with a proper response for the young ambush reporter. I suggest he might have replied, "No, YOUR mother does that for me."
