RFK Jr is not the one going to court to have vaccine data kept secret a la JFK assassination files.
Marks resignation contains a lot of words, but doesn't back-up his assertions agains RFKjr with any specificity.
It contains praise for presidents from George Washington to Donald Trump, so his clear intent is to isolate RFKjr.
It does seem like the evolving line of attack on RFKjr is largely ad hominem, that RFKjr has a personality defect tied to his ego that interferes with the work.
Let's see where Marks decamps to and the substance of his future advocacy from that perch.
Reading between the lines, the guy could either be fired or resign because of how he screwed up covid, but the NYT wants us to think it's because he's standing up to RFK Jr's vaccine opinions. Whatever. I still believe in vaccines. But I understand why people are so skeptical. And it's because guys like this grandstand instead of saying, we were wrong about COVID.

Hiring David Geier and promoting vitamin A to treat measles is going to drive a lot more people out. The FDA got a lot wrong, but that doesn't make quack therapy better. Trump is in a delicate place here; the married women who voted for him like what RFKJr says about food, but he risks losing them if they see a disease outbreak close to home.

I guarantee a discrepancy. This POS pushed the vaccines and was part of the machine that has caused this health care crisis. Marks knew about sending US taxpayer dollars to foreign labs to do research Americans deemed illegal.
Peter Marks is almost certainly one of the people that needs to be charged and tried with many counts of accessory to murder and to be publicly executed as a warning to future generations right there with Fauci.

They haven't been honest about a single thing I have researched. Statins are pure evil. The Standard American diet is pure evil. The food pyramid is pure evil. They are not even just mistakes anymore.
This is an obvious pattern. There is not one thing NIH/HHS and the food and drug industry have been honest about in the last 50 years. It is all profit, greed, and a malevolent desire to reduce the population.
The COVID shot did not meet the definition of a vaccine when Biden took office. Prior to a change in 2021, vaccines were defined by the CDC to prevent desease. Thereafter, vaccines need only give “protection.” This was done to allow Biden to issue executive orders requiring government employees and contractors to take the shot. Dr. Marks accepted this bastardization of vaccines.
Vaccination (pre-2015): Injection of a killed or weakened infectious organism in order to prevent the disease.
Vaccination (2015-2021): The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.
Vaccination (Sept 2021): The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific desease.
Achilles, a dueling culture might also help. This guy accuses RFKJ of being a liar; RFK, not being overly attached to his life because of seeing his father and uncle get shot, asks to meet him at dawn on TR Island; one guy (at most) goes home.

If you watch that Rogan video I linked you will no longer believe a single word that has come out of these people.

When the organization has rot, and the organization refuses to police itself to correct the rot, then the assumption automatically proceeds to 'the organization is rotten from top to bottom - Prove Me Wrong'.
Painting Junior' as some kind of crank because he believes that vaccines should be subjected to the same testing as drugs is a spurious and dishonest attack. The same kind of thing as granting full sweeping immunity to the drug companies that produce them, inviting abuse.
I note the critics of the measles outbreaks do not credit Junior's strongly pro-vaccine stance on it. I note that Vitamin A therapy is recognized to improve mortality outcomes. The critics are careful not to mention that nobody advocates relying on Vitamin A therapy alone, or that many of the disease vectors originate from illegal alien children with no vaccination history and a tendency toward vitamin deficiency. Dishonest arguments, no? Dishonest people, yes.
The NYT story would interest me more if it stated that the former vaccine expert was being indicted for knowingly killing patients for money received from his owners at big pharma.

There is a context, a schedule, a risk, and expectation of pharmaceuticals. It's individual. It's behavioral. It's rarely a bloc act. Evaluate and proceed accordingly.
This guy was the director of the FDA Unit in charge of vaccines during the entire Covid era. He was silent on misinformation about Covid vaccine effectiveness and origins. Who could believe him now? He shoud have resigned sooner.

Which the COVID-19 ModRNA “vaccines” decidedly were not. Yes, they sterilized against the Wuhan (original genetically decoded) variant, but the virus quickly mutated around the “vaccines” by simply tweaking the two spike proteins that the vaccines produced. This is part of why the justification for vaccinating children, in particular (fatality rate from the virus < 1/1,000,000) was always nonsense - herd immunity was effectively impossible, even in the beginning, with a non-sterilizing vaccine.
Let me add, that above and beyond redefining ModRNA genetic treatments as “vaccines”, the grossly underreported the adverse side effects of these treatments. They modified the reporting requirements into the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) database to eliminate most adverse reports of side effects. And despite that, four years ago, they ordered Pfizer to do additional trials on the incidence of myocarditis and pericarditis with their ModRNA “vaccines”. It was supposed to run from June of 2021 to June of 2022, with a report due at he end of that year. It’s been almost 3 years since these additional trials were supposedly completed, and FOIA requests still don’t show their results.

One of my pet peeves with these ModRNA genetic treatment “vaccines” is that they were so narrow - they only taught immune systems that the two (initially the Wuhan variant) spike proteins were antigens. This narrowness very likely forced the virus to quickly mutated these spike proteins, cutting cross reactivity of the generated antibodies from 90% for early variants, to 50% for Delta variants (8/21 in the US), to less than 10% for Omicron variants (12/21).
Which gets me to my second pet peeve, which is that their theory was to stop the virus cold with already produced antibodies, instead of having the immune system produce the requisite antibodies upon demand, after encountering the virus and determining that it was an antigen. You would get a jab, the substitution of N1 Methylpseudouridine for Uridines would hide the ModRNA from the immune system, it would enter cells, and produce spike protein antigens for the next two months or so, generating the corresponding antibodies to the artificially produced spike proteins, in massive quantities, the entire time. And when the artificial production of the spike proteins let up, the patient was Boosted, with another jab of The ModRNA. Compounding this, they considered the “vaccines” a success based on the production of antibodies in response to the artificially produced spike proteins, and not the responsiveness to the virus itself. Initially, the first several months, this made sense, since the spike proteins involved were still close enough to the original Wuhan variant spike proteins to be effective against the virus itself. But by Delta (8/21), it had become an absurd metric, due to the significantly reduced cross reactivity. By Omicron (12/21), the overstimulation of the immune system to produce Wuhan variant spike proteins, that had negligible cross reactivity to the virus itself, these vaccines had become significantly counterproductive.

It would not surprise me if he were hired by Pfizer, that is probably good, as he won’t accomplish anything that could not be done by someone else. And if RFK is smart, he can hire an energetic new guy who does not owe pharmaceutical companies anything.

Produce for two months? Big lie. If you've had one or more shots- your cells are still producing the spiked protein- and releasing that known pathogen into your body. There is no off switch. The infected cells containing the mRNA were not generating the corresponding antibodies to the artificially produced spike proteins. That was done by the immune system.
So ask yourself this- a question I raised at the very beginning- as did many other non-medicos like me, but surprisingly, no doctors- the anti-vaccine doctors raised other questions though, also raised by us laymen doubters. So the question- If the mRNA generates the spike protein, and that's the part you want antibodies against, why not throw the mRNA into a batch of yeast, get a crapload of spike protein without the rest of the virus, purify it, then inject a set amount of the spike into the body and let the immune system see it? Why not do that? Well, the spike protein is a KNOWN PATHOGEN. All by it's lonesome self. So doing that wouldn't be allowed. Period. No testing- harm would be done to the recipients. But having the body make the spike protein? Uh... wow. Who in the world ever thought that forcing the body to make a known pathogen and releasing it into the bloodstream was a good idea?
Really, Bruce, does that make any sense at all whatsoever? I saw that in the beginning. looking at it in retrospect- shouldn't that have been a big red flag to the entire health establishment?
