"With most describing him as 'tough,' 'energetic,' 'focused' and 'effective' — and as doing what he'd promised during his campaign — President Trump has started his term with net positive marks from Americans overall."

"Many say he's doing more than they expected — and of those who say this, most like what they see. Very few think he's doing less. His partisans and his voters, in particular, say he's got the right amount of focus on matters like ending diversity, equity and inclusion programs and deporting those who are in the country illegally...."

From "CBS News poll — Trump has positive approval amid 'energetic' opening weeks; seen as doing what he promised."

That was just so good for Trump that there was no way to spin it negative and CBS tells it straight.

I'm surprised they didn't spin it that Trump is favored by the sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, bigoted majority of the electorate. Some of my acquaintances have.

Best President in history. And he is an honest man too.

But, and hear me out, what if Democrats arrest him and call him a felon? Think that will knock down his approval rating?

I watched the entire PBS election night coverage over the last week. Overall I thought it was quite good - more substantive than most news programs. The end, where they started talking about Trump being a lame duck, implication being that not much would get done or that he hadn't been serious - now that was funny. Rep guy said that Trump would still be sitting w/ 45% approval rating in four months.

You can never overestimate Trump's crudity, but it is a bad mistake to underestimate his determination to really change things.

Also interesting in the poll results is that Trump is still very strong with the working class. This obviously has to worry Dems.

I’m not that enamored with Ron Paul auditing anything. He’s an honest fella but I don’t think he is nearly Javier milieu enough for this job.

Nah, not buying it. Lying liars always lie. It's some kind of a trick.

Planet Jupiter, reporting for duty, Sir!

Clearly the Dems need to call us stupid *even harder*. I’m sure it will work this time!
Maybe add some more Nazi, just to be sure.

Wait a minute, I thought that the coming headline in the New York Times about BigBalls was going to seal Trump's fate and maybe lead to Musks humiliating frog march to prison.

He can be an inspiring figurehead, and let Musk and his wonder boys do the heavy lifting.

Hahahahaha! I'm guessing the CBS News Poll was conducted only in vetted communities, canvassing only within vetted populations. (Or...dissenting opinions were blue-penciled from the results before publication.)

So Robert Cook ate you suggesting CBS is biased IN FAVOUR of Trump?
