"Emilia Pérez & The New Gaza."
I tried to quote something from this, but it's impossible, and that's how it should be. Live inside it — inhabit it — or skip it altogether. You know which is right for you.

"Yeah, look at these itty bitty microphones. I hate them! So tiny and efficient. In my day we had giant microphones the size of a watermelon. And they were cumbersome and block you face so no one could see ya... And we liked it!"
He lost me as soon as he said "I knew it."
yeah - uh huh.
One odd effect of the Joe Rogan phenomenon is that comedians have become notable political pundits (and a lot of them actually make pretty good sense).
The National Lampoon did this in their
"What If JFK didn't get shot" issue..
It was called: The Gaza Plaza
The thing is over an hour long. Does anyone actually sit through these things?
I saw that it was an hour and ten minutes long, and decided that even at 2X speed it was not right for me.
I asked Perplexity how rich Tim Dillon was - since he was kind of making fun of people happy with low skill/paying jobs as well as making fun of real estate investors.
Perplexity’s answer:
“Tim Dillon, the comedian and podcaster, has an estimated net worth of $12 million as of 2024, primarily from his podcast “The Tim Dillon Show,” stand-up comedy, and real estate investments.”
Guy's a bore. I skipped several minutes at a time and baled out before the 10:00 mark.
As to Gaza, the best thing the USA can do is stay the hell out. Trump's idea may be one of his worst.
I listened to the entire episode. Very funny guy. He’s spot on about Hollywood. Watched Emilia Perez—boring but well acted—especially by Miss Sofia. Nothing “ground breaking” about it though.
