Joe: "See, she could get away with this if she's really hot, like this kind of behavior. You can totally get through life as a hot woman and be super successful with that kind of behavior. But you gotta be really hot to pull off that attitude."
Podscribe has a transcript. That's helpful in figuring out where to jump ahead.

No way I'd ever listen to three hours of Rogan, much less anyone, as time is too precious.
Women are endlessly entertaining in their native mode, which is most of the time.
Women won't understand the humor of the situation. They'd rather feel that something is wrong.

I can't remember who said "beautiful women live life on easy mode", but it sounds like Joe is a believer. I don't know...I've seen and known plenty of smokeshows that ended up getting pretty beat up by drugs and alcohol, but the ones that didn't seem to fit Joe's stereotype.
I've officially reached Musk overload. Maybe after a month I'll care.
Grok is the kind of thing that might be passed around by teenage boys…
Truly beautiful women, the ones who have been lovely since girlhood, are like RSM says -- messed up. All they ever heard was how pretty they were; it ends up leaving them with low self-esteem because beauty is fleeting.
The moderately beautiful women are the ones who maximize their looks. They use their brains and a ruthless personality to market their asset.
The best Musk line re: the Social Security numbers: The fraud is a bank shot. ie the existence of the phoney baloney SS numbers means still alive to the other sources - medicare/aid, unemployment…
The issue for Congress crawlers is the size if your constituency in on the graft
Andrea, Groc is hot for U. Don't Guac me. I couldn't lean into the Perplexity.
Just by tightening up the Treasury Dept. accounting we could save 100 billion a year. They found roughly 55,000 NGOs solely for leftist and Democrat causes. Many run by Soros shell organizations.
Now you know why they're protesting DOGE.
I can't think of 2 worse people to listen to. I'd rather listen to Megyn Kelly (who i consider worthless) than them.
The remote possibility that these two could be lighting each other's farts by the third hour keeps countless listeners attached. I hope the transcript will give us time links for these kinds of moments. Boys want to have fun too.
Of course, I'll listen.
Social Security is the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time. Thank. You!
By the standards of the day, anything's possible. It's hard to keep up.
"That's helpful in figuring out where to jump ahead."
Actually, your synopsis was sufficient to convince me to jump all the way to the end.
"I'd rather listen to Megyn Kelly (who i consider worthless) than them."
Well. At least she gets to the point. And she's a lot better-looking.

When I was younger I had my fun in the candy shop. Lots of sweet and delicious things are in the candy shop, but nothing that can be counted as intellectually or emotionally nutritious. Pardon the earthy euphemism, but meeting one 'basic bitch' after another is spiritually exhausting. I like the way 50 Cent put it, "damn girl you are fine but you ain't got nothin' goin' on!"
Women who are smart, affectionate, and emotionally secure possess a cuteness all their own. They are a full steak dinner with all the trimmings, and unlike candy are good for you.
Ann's summary comment and the few reader comments above make it easy for me to skip this topic forevermore. How boring.
Vik - you'd rather listen to Maddow or The View
The Rogan podcast format--two and a half to three hour long interviews has its pluses and minuses. I believe that if you can listen to a person shooting the breeze in a conversation for three hours you've got a chance to get an accurate "take" on who that person is. If you suspect that someone--Woody Harrelson for example--is not the sharpest tool in the shed, listening to the Rogan-Harrelson podcast will only confirm that view. OTOH the Marc Andreesen, J.D. Vance, and Donald Trump podcasts were very interesting and informative. But I'd go stark raving mad if I had to listen to every one of Rogan's podcasts.

Thank you for that valuable contribution. Always a bright ray of sunshine, you are.
The shelf-life of "hot woman" status is not long enough to "totally get through life as a hot woman." A decade or two, at most.
Rogan talked to the chess player Magnus Carlson the other day that was a good one. I don't listen to Rogan very often but if he's got someone interesting on I'll have a listen.
Carlson, at age 34, lamenting his declining mental faculties, was amusing.
Zelensky could probably use a couple of sex robots and a fifth of bourbon right about now. They might be able to take his mind off how badly he screwed up.
Grok/Althouse podcasts could be a hit. Heck, in another 5 years, most podcasts will involve AI voice assistants and humans. Some will even skip the humans.
"See, she could get away with this if she's really hot..."
"And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. .."
I don't have time for this format. Not enough days left for me in life
NEW: Elon Musk just revealed that the government handed the Navy $12 billion to build new submarines—and not a single submarine was built.
When investigators asked where the money went, Navy officials shrugged and said they had no idea.
“There’s a case where I think Senator Collins was telling me about how she gave the Navy $12 billion for more submarines, got no extra submarines, and then held a hearing to say where the $12 billion go.
“And they were like, we don’t know. That was it. I mean, basically, stuff is so crazy. Only the federal government could get away with this level of waste,” Musk said.
NEW: @ElonMusk
really has George Soros figured out.
"George Soros is a systems hacker. He is a genius arbitrager. He figured out that you could leverage a small amount of money to create a non-profit then lobby politicians to send a ton of money to that non profit so you can take what might be a $10M donation and leverage it into a $1B NGO."
"Then the government continues to fund it every year, and it will have a nice sounding name like 'The Institute for Peace,' but really it's a grafting machine."
BINGO.
