"Even if [Daniel] Penny’s found innocent on all charges, his ordeal still sends a grim message to all New Yorkers remains: Don’t think about standing up to protect the innocent."

"And this is far from Bragg’s only outrage. Consider his prosecution of Jose Alba, the bodega clerk attacked in his workplace who accidentally killed in self-defense — the charges dropped only when the 'optics' got bad. Or Bragg’s two-years-belated indictment of a cop for punching an unruly perp (who wasn’t harmed) he was escorting out of an Upper West Side Apple Store. Or the charges against Scotty Enoe, a CVS worker, who stabbed a serial shoplifter to death after the homeless man pulled the knife on him. This DA sides with the perps every time — and against those who resist them. Not to mention the resources wasted on his ultimate political persecution: the ridiculous pursuit of now-President-elect Donald Trump over 2017 book-keeping entries that supposedly tampered with the 2016 election...."

Writes the NY Post Editorial Board in "Daniel Penny trial: Alvin Bragg is a menace to our society and must GO."

People keep asking, you know, how Biden could possibly be running the country, seeing his mental state is in such decline and they wonder who's actually running the country.

The answer is George Soros and soon his son Alex. They live in Budapest, Hungary.

Woke madness ends only when deep blue regions eject and/or punish Bragg and the like. There's a glimmer of hope in California, after 10 years of their no-prosecution madness. Perhaps New York's nightmare will end as TDS fades, or perhaps everyone sane leaves New York and "Escape From New York" (1981) will become real.

We live in an era where every dystopican SciFi plot becomes real.

The neutering of citizens and the unravelling of civic fabric is the point.

Perhaps going after Trump is enough for New Yorkers to overlooked all other concerns related to Bragg. If so, I would normally say the get what they deserve. But in this case it is the hero, Daniel Penny, who is the victim, and that is a travesty.

Every Soros DA needs to be booted and disbarred. The Soros family is effectively a cancer on our culture.

"Even if Hunter Biden's found laptop contains evidence of sex with minors, he cannot be prosecuted for a federal crime."

The NY Post Editorial Board's editorial atrocious apostrophe standards require readers to take in the following word before determining if "'s" is a possessive or a contraction.

The guy who fixed New York after Bernie Getz shot 4 hoodlums on the subway and was similarly tried was Rudy Guiliani, the mayor when 9-11 happened.

He's been DESTROYED. His entire fortune has been handed to two black employees in some Georgia precinct who helped steal the 2020 election for Biden.

He's been turned into a washed up drunk. They got him.

The fabric of society is being destroyed. It is not merely unravelling. It is being knifed to death by these rat bastards and we're letting them get away with it.

Enough is enough.

We’ve been invited to believe it was a failure of messaging or not enough money thrown at celebrities or a lack of their own Joe Rogan but I dare to hope the electoral results are a widespread rejection of the Davos/Soros/OpenSecrets agenda of lawlessness and submission. If it is a rejection and the good guys aren’t derailed by the evil Keep Washington Moving crowd we may see a reversal and return to law and order, even in places like New York…

Health insurance CEO was assassinated on the streets of NYC yesterday.

He can still be gotten to, however. All Trump has to do is declare him an enemy of the United States ... a clear and present danger to the national security of the country ... and he can kill him. Like Obama did when he was President.

And not a care was given. The ultra rich Democrats in the United States have created the world we now live in and it's about time one of them had to pay a price for it. Hopefully, there will be more of this.

There is only one way to get the attention on NYC government: federal funding. Hundreds of millions in Dept of Transportation grants to run the subways? First get rid of Bragg, then we talk.

My sister in law is heading out to Colorado today for a nice vacation. The original plan was a trip to NYC. We convinced her it was too dangerous to go there.

Bear in mind the pardon only extends to federal crimes, as Presidents don't have pardon power over state crimes. He could still be prosecuted by the state in which a crime such as sex with a minor occurred (of course, these likely would have occurred in Delaware, which is unlikely to prosecute a Biden).

In NYC, no one should stand up to protect the innocent. The innocent don't want it, and the voters don't either.

Alvin Bragg is a menace to our society and must GO.

For some reason this vintage commercial always stuck in my mind.

"Man, you are a menace to society!"

And the same nutty judge overseeing the trial (yes she looks exactly like a nutty judge too) previously let a murderer walk free because the guy was just so pitifully poor "he had no other option" than to kill the guy and steal a few bucks worth of stuff. Yes, she actually said that, about a purposeful killing.

Are you thinking of the Bragg ADA? She's a piece of work.

I believe the judge is a man and graduate of U Wisconsin Law, Maxwell Wiley.

What continues to astound me, and remains unexplained by the 'experts', is why people keep voting so steadfastly against their real interests, only to be subjected to further years of evidence-to-the-contrary. I've never seen anything so contrary to common sense persevere this way.

On any given issue, there's a 40 to 60% chance I'm wrong. I try not to get too vehement about my opinions because there's a good chance I might be wrong. The case against Daniel Penny, however, is so glaringly, blatantly wrong that it's hard not to look at the case and get outraged. Penny's on a subway floor wrestling with a maniac, and he's accused of not using proper restraint. How much restraint are you supposed to exercising when you're wrestling with a homicidal maniac on the floor of a subway car? I was once in a similar situation, and the thought that this maniac might pull out a knife and stab me was part of the zeitgeist. There's lots of adrenaline, and not everyone is Clint Eastwood.. Penny seems a lot more Clint Eastwoody than most of us. He behaved not just appropriately but with admirable courage......The fact that he is being tried for this brave act is outrageous. Here's what I find to be a further outrage: I have yet to hear of a prominent Democrat criticizing him. There's lots of criticism of Gaetz and other Republicans, but there's a tactful silence on Alvin Bragg's overreach. Further, you don't hear the media asking Dem politicians for their opinions on Bragg. What's the opinion of Schumer, Nadler or AOC on this trial and on Alvin Bragg?

Nothing will change. The liberal/left likes crime and disorder since it "Ethnically cleanses" rightwingers and the center right (mostly White) people from the city, or keeps them out.

Its also part of the Leftwing idealogy that the current system is "Unjust" and "Oppressive" and therefore criminals should not be punished, but should actually be encouraged, since it speeds up the collapse of the "Oppressive" society. Once the True Believers are in completely in charge then law and order can be re-established, because it will be Good. See how Lenin encouraged crime before 1917, and during the "Red Terror", then created the most oppressive police state ever seen.

New York’s Governor should have stepped in and stopped this madness. But it is the People’s Republic of New York.

Wasn't Bragg voted into office? NYC dwellers got exactly what they asked for.

Side note: Fort Bragg, NC was force renamed to Fort Liberty, because all memory of that unpleasantness must be expunged. How COULD they vote for a guy with the same sullied name?

Levi Starks said...

If found innocent, they should next pursue the real killers, them members of the administrative state that allowed this clearly insane person to be a continuing menace to the city of New York.
