She seems rather shallow, a woman trading on her sexuality vibes and good looks, self-absorbed and excited by herself. And as we've learned subsequently, Pierre was but a way station, and she quickly dumped him when he left office and lost his usefulness. I wouldnt want her influencing any public policies, but I'm sure she was fun at parties and as a marriage partner (assuming you were willing to tolerate some adultery).

Her son has the same elitism, egoistism and nuttiness. Canadian liberals need to do better.

The polling is absolutely disastrous for the Grits. The Angus Reid poll has the Liberals at 16%. If that is true, the Liberals would be lucky to keep official party status (minimum of 12 seats in Parliament. The Tories are looking at their largest majority since Diefenbaker in 1958.
