According to a new CNN poll.

CNN also uncritically reported a Des Moines Register poll saying that Kamala Harris was going to beat Donald Trump by 4 points.

She lost by 12 points.

So maybe stop watching CNN. Just because they're reporting matches your bias, doesn't mean it's true.

Liberal heads are exploding but the silent majority approves. NPR ran a long segment about the upcoming deportations of illegals. NPR of course making it out to be a massive human rights violation. My only thought was that the silent majority approves.

Democrats hate current Republican presidents but tend to think fondly of past Republican presidents. Given that Trump will be both a current and prior president, I'm counting the days until we see a giant golden Trump statue standing next to the Washington Monument.

Trump's memorial will be..his head on Budda's body:

The oligarchy has been under serious pressure ever since interest rates started spiking under Biden. Some of them, like Mike Bloomberg, have seemingly infinite money. But some of them don't. Smarter owners would have been firing liberal journalists en masse to take advantage of the Fox News effect. But even Fox News can't rely on that anymore: what people want is authentic news, and they'll outright build new platforms if that's what it takes to get it. President Trump did.

You know which country in Europe has the highest approval rating for Trump? It's been in the news a lot. I think it's the talk of ending a war there.

60 to 65% is "some confidence"..
Lefties are INSANE

Lucky thing That country has Permanently Suspended ALL Elections;
or they might have ended their war Already

Cancelling an election because of TikTok indicates a justice system which has no business going after Andrew Tate or anyone else.

You're misreading it.
About 60% of poll respondents* had at least "some confidence" in Trump:
About 35% "Full Confidence" plus about 25% "Some confidence". Versus about 40% "No Real Confidence"

*as weighted... ignoring for these purposes that the poll probably works like pre-election opinion polling where the responses are demographically weighted.

Think some of that is they're going "We went all in on Harris, and lost market share. Only way to recover that is to start being honest in our reporting, and even then it'll take a hell of a long time to recover trust."

Trust takes a long time to rebuild, and they broke trust then danced on the shards.

When you're pulling in fewer viewers than the Food Network, you really gotta re-evaluate your reporting priorities.

Echoing Dixcus, if those are CNN's numbers, one wonders what the actual numbers are.

gilbar:
"Permanently Suspended" is a contradiction in terms, and the first word is a lie. They have temporarily suspended or postponed elections, as required by their constitution. The fact that millions of citizens in occupied areas would be unable to vote is one good reason. Another is that Russia strikes civilian targets every day, and polling places would be particularly vulnerable: they're immobile, unfortified, crowded on election day, and their locations and opening hours have to be advertised well in advance.

Americans approve of Trump handling of the transition to the presidency

if the poll was phrased like that, no wonder - a majority have an immediate favorable response to the name "Trump", and the rest have an even more favorable response to the word "transition"

Just remember that NPR has received federal funding the last 4 years ONLY because Republicans in the House want it funded.

Well, as recent events have demonstrated, there's more than one way to put the oligarchy under serious pressure.

Kinda runs counter tot he "Russia Russia Russia - Trump loves Putin" angle, huh?

We are transitioning from "no President" to "someone is taking control of things." I would hope approval is high.

Coming out of the gate swinging seems to be the best policy.

Donald Trump’s 49.8% landslide victory.

LOL

Its good to see LLR-democratical Rich is incapable of moving on.

That's exactly how I like my New Soviet Democraticals to think.

Drago said...

The entire nation and world is already 100 steps down the road from the election.....which has already been cemented as one of the greatest victories in the history of politics.

And the realignment that has occurred is potentially generational, if the GOPe doesn't purposely sabotage it.

But thanks for playing Li'l Abacus Boy. Now go and tell us again how you guaranteed a kamala landslide! Those were good times, weren't they?

Donald Trump’s 49.8% landslide victory.

312-226 including all seven 'swing' states.
May want to apply some ointment.

And to think it only took the New Soviet Democraticals another 5 weeks and counting of more "votes tallied" to ensure they could generate LLR-democratical Rich's latest weak tea talking point!
