AOC will be the Democrats' next candidate. Here she is explaining Kamala's historic loss:

"I think there are things we can learn about digital communication, about constant, direct communication with people and about sending a very clear and easy-to-understand message. Even if those messages are very, very different in their values, proposals and dispositions," she added.

It's crystal clear what she's saying: The Democrats problem is MESSAGING. Which is good. It keeps these idiots from ever winning if they think they just didn't get their message out in the right forum.

If only Kamala had gone on Rogan and informed HIS 20 million fans that "Men Can Get Pregnant" and little boys "Need Tampons In Their Bathrooms At School" then ... then ... they might have won. "Oh, and also it's OK for mom or her doctor to cut their little wieners off." If only the right DIGITAL way of saying that could appear, AOC says, then .. THEN they could win.

They have learned nothing. NOTHING. And they never will learning anything because they are mentally ill narcissists unable to admit that they are WRONG. WRONG. WRONG.

About everything. In every digital format known to man.

Would you rather be at a table with Kamala Harris, or Biden or AOC . . . pick your favorite non Trump supporting Democrat. Or would you rather be at that table with Trump and Musk and Don Jr and RFK? Which would be more fun? I’d be curious how Kamala voting Democrats would answer that question.

Kamala voting Democrats would answer that question in the voice of Thurston Howell the Third.

Absolutely.

I got corrected in another thread for saying that Trump is a lame duck after the mid-terms, in 2026.

I was told, he's a lame duck now.

Lame duck? He's like a super-duck. He's Donald Duck on steroids.

I say the lame duck metaphor is limited to second term presidencies, after the mid-term. He's got full angry mallard powers up until then. Who's with me on this?

Saint Croix said...

You lame duck liberals with your lame duck metaphors are lame as shit. Talking to you, WaPo! Quack! Quack Quack Quack!

Also, nobody's a lame duck if he can joke about cancelling elections and throwing out the Constitution.

"That's not funny!"

I'm looking forward to liberals buying guns and learning how to shoot by watching Tim Walz youtube videos.

"The Second Amendment will save us!"

That would be awesome.

Tulsi Gabbard: 75%

A better analogy is the home team taking the field for the 2nd half after a really lame halftime show.

Think Tom Brady and the Patriots against the Falcons in Super Bowl LI (they won 34-28 after being down 28-3 at the half).

The Washington Post's left-leaning editorial board published a scathing article about Pennsylvania Democrats who voted to count invalid ballots during the Senate race recount between Bob Casey (D-PA) and his Republican challenger, Dave McCormick.
WaPoo: Democrats thumb their nose at the rule of law in Pennsylvania
The mere attempt to defy judicial rulings is corrosive to democracy and invites similar behavior in future elections. Democrats would surely protest if a Republican commissioner made the same statement to justify tipping the scales for their party’s Senate nominee — and they would be right. Elections need rules established in advance of the voting, and those rules must be applied equally and consistently.

when you've lost the WaPoo.. You've lost the Billionaires that you think matter

As I said before, that's where the Dems messed up. Had they let Trump serve his second term, he would have been much weaker politically. Now, he is stronger than he ever would have been, and full of vengeance.

The Pentagon again lost billions of dollars (824 billion this year alone) according to the latest audit. I am so happy we have career politicians who have no clue what the hell they are doing, destroying America every day....and they worry about Pete Hegseth??? I don't know if Trump and company can rid this country of all the corrupt assholes who dug the ditch they want the rest of us to fall into.

Aren't you ecstatic that our supposed smartest people who call us garbage are doing such a bang up job??

The dismissiveness of Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks in this clip is simply astounding. Jon Stewart points out the Pentagon keeps failing its audits & she literally tries to laugh it off. This is the entrenched mentality the next SecDef will face.

john mosby said...

But Wendybar, I think Hegseth will have even less time for the bean-counters and auditors. When you are in the business of killing people and breaking things, yes preferably the enemy's but inevitably also some of your own, demanding complete financial accountability is like setting up a radar gun at the Indy 500. Like all soldiers, Hegseth has certainly seen some of the absurdities of military property accountability, like using hundreds of dollars of manhours to figure out what happened to a fifty-dollar "sensitive item." Or on a larger scale, commanders beating the drums to push out emergency funds in Iraq and AFG, only to have someone demanding a receipt for every last penny.

But yeah, if confronted on this, Hegseth wouldnt laugh it off. He would lay some of these anecdotes on the interviewer and turn it into a Kennedy School seminar.

It was announced in the New York Times that the cognitively impaired Joe Biden has just whacked the Ukrainian hornets nest on his way out of office by approving US supported missile strikes inside of Russia, supported by US targeting data, gathered by US personnel, and US programming of the missiles to hit those targets. In fact the US basically does everything besides drive the trucks and pull the triggers; these are done with voice activated automatons known as Ukrainian soldiers.

Putin has said that this will constitute the initiation of a "state of war" between the United States and Russia.

I am not a "presidential historian," Like Doris Kearns Goodwin, but I have lived around seven decades on this planet, and I think that Joe Biden is the most reckless president that the United States has suffered in modern times.

Two motivations that I can see. The Ukrainians are using their compromising material to blackmail him, or he just wants to make sure that Donal Trump's term is fully occupied with the war that he is escalating to WW3 levels. This is no longer a proxy war, but a direct war between superpowers.

You may say that Putin is wrong, that the Ukrainians are perfectly capable of gathering precision targeting data within Russia, including the best paths to take through the Russian air defenses, and of operating the missiles themselves, despite the info that has come out during this war to the contrary, but the important thing is that Putin doesn't believe it.

Leland said...

Not a bad vote if you want to send a message to Democrats about failing to hold a fair primary. Alas, that’s not the message they are interested in hearing or using.

Leland said...

It is very reckless, but I think it is a set up for Russia Gate 2.0. Then thing to do would be for Trump to either suggest to Zelensky not to use the resources or don’t expect continued support under his Presidency. Similarly, Trump could de-escalate with Putin by pointing out he won’t continue a reckless war. Both would be good for the US. However both solutions would be used to paint Trump once again as a Putin puppet. Democrats won’t care who dies for that messaging.

The one kind aspect of it that raises an eyebrow is that they announced it before doing it, unlike in the past, when announced it after the first attacks had taken place with new weapons. It's likely that somebody at the Pentagon is not happy.

Joe should have done this before the election, so that, you know, Harris could have surfed the wave of its popularity right into the Oval Office!

Basically this is a f*k you and a bitch slap to the American people for voting for a close on the war.

tcrosse said...

Breezy said...

Trump is on record against this war, so it doesn’t seem like the Putin puppet scenario could work.
Also, is this a Biden or Obama decision? We really must know who’s driving the bus!! Do the Europeans think this is a good idea?

Jaq said...

Watched it again, and I think that those two Detroit Lions players doing the YMCA dance move and adding in Trump's golf swing touch says that this is a legit phenomenon.

Jaq said...

I don't think that the European people like the idea at all, based on the election results we have seen, even with the press controls, censorship of social media that goes on there. It's not as bad as Ukraine, where there was an arrest of a person who complained about the war on the phone to a relative, and the phone call was intercepted.

I know a thing or two about telecom, and I know that when you use the phone in this modern era, your conversation is converted to an MP3 basically, or some equivalent, and transmitted through servers, where it is perfectly feasible to scan the conversation for thoughtcrime with AI. It would not even be hard, if you are the entity that licenses the phone network, and therefore have complete access to all of its data.

And here we go!

The camel has stuck its nose under the tent.

If Russia does not respond decisively and forcefully, the next step is NATO troops, a boldly zone, Ukraine in NATO.

Putin said this very action meant war.

Russia has two choices: do nothing, and suffer a strategic defeat.

Or treat this as war and call NATO’s bluff regarding Article 5.

Keep in mind Trump—he will exploit Russian weakness, and respect Russian strength.
- Scott Ritter

This is happening because the whole line of contact is collapsing, and it's not the Russians falling away. Well, let's bring Germany, France, and the UK into the war with us, as they all have been withholding permission for these strikes because they can only do the stuff that Biden lets them do.

The funny thing is that Ukraine is far smaller than Russia, and it has taken almost three years of missile strikes to reduce it to its current miserable state. It took many many missiles and a couple of years to cripple Ukraine's air defenses. If we launch enough missiles to actually make a different in Russia's ability to fight, we are going to be in a nuclear war.

What will Russia do if it sees a missile incoming to Moscow, a couple of hundred miles from Ukraine, and knows that the US thinks that it can decapitate Russia's leadership and win a nuclear war, and has only until January 20th to do it.

Christopher B said...

Jaq said...

So a Russian Senator, Not Putin, but a Senator, has said that strikes inside of Russia will lead to the reduction of the government in Kiev to a smoking ruin.

These Senators are independent, Russia is not the totalitarian dictatorship that western media portrays it as, just as US Senators often say things that go far beyond what any president says or even thinks, but these are the emotions we are dealing with.

Think Pearl Harbor, or 9-11, and how those strikes cowed the US.... not.
