You won't have to wait even half a minute to see Kris Kristofferson in this clip of "Big Top Pee-Wee."

You may wonder, what's he doing there, but there he is...

Sorry to hear this. He was a genuine traditionalist that fought the good fight.

This morning we are talking about Kris Kristofferson and Tim Walz. The first represents and outdated, poetic, and compassionate "toxic" masculinity that we are all going to miss when it is fully extinguished. The new Tim Walz / Doug Emoff "masculinity" enters in it's place, bless by the Jen Psaki's of the media. Walz and Emoff are the Pee Wee version of masculinity.

Now, I'm sure Kris Kristofferson had a liberal side. But it wasn't in your face, and it wasn't in the songs he wrote, or the movies he made. (except for "A Star is Born" simply because Babs was in the movie.) Whatever Kristofferson's politics, his associates, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson, we're all hard partying womanizers. The lifestyle took Cash and Jennings early.

Over the weekend Jen Psaki said to Emoff in and interview he "redefined" masculinity. One of convenient hold-over traits for this new kind of masculinity, is men can still fuck the nanny, get her pregnant, pay for the abortion, and tear apart their family just like Emoff did. As long as he/him remains pro-abortion up until the moment of birth, and a loyal Democrat, the feminist applause will never stop.

Strange that Pee Wee's cancellation sin was masturbating in a porn theatre.

Were Kris Kristofferson and Jeff Bridges two different people?

“Cisco Pike” is worth a watch. Kristofferson… Hackman… Karen Black… Harry Dean Stanton… and a weird cameo by Doug Sahm!

Jeff Bridges would be far more convincing in the role of Kris Kistofferson, but Kris Kristofferson was Kris Kristofferson. He really did those things. I don't see Jeff Bridges as a Rhodes Scholar though. Not in his range.

Back in spring of 73, Kristofersson, Linda Ronstadt, Country Joe and the Fish, along with others played at the Dane County Colosseum. During Ronstadt’s set, Kristofersson staggered out from the wings and proceeded to grope Ronstadt, presumably looking for a kiss. She coolly held the Mike with one hand, using the other to fend him off until he got the message.

Pee-Wee Herman was a polarizing character but today it may be difficult for some to recall the quality of the celebrities that were on Playhouse. A listers of the day. There was a sophisticated appeal to the silliness, the epitome of camp.

Different people. Same beard.

He lived the American Dream in a singularly unforgettable way, with a legacy of artistic breadth, brilliance, and longevity. His voice and lyrics will resonate with listeners many years from now, and his life story will remain an enduring inspiration for all those seeking second, third and even fourth acts in the great story of life.

It’s called picking up a paycheck.
