The bank records, transfers, Biden even bragged about getting the prosecutor that was looking into corruption involving his son and partners fired by threatening to withhold major bucks in aid, in front of a "huge" crowd! This has been out there since 2019. This is not new. What IS new is that other media, other press are starting to allow such articles to be released. Biden served his purpose. He's no longer needed. Now the overwhelming evidence and testimony by people involved is actually going to see some light of day.
This should have been among the biggest stories in American history. A Senator, turned Vice President, turned President on the hook to multiple foreign nationals to the tune of millions of dollars paid off to his drug addled son, and spread among 28 shell companies under the names of various family members.
But Trump said bad words about women.
So as they roll out Joe Biden tonight and create this Ted Kennedy sort of 'Lion of the Senate' routine for yet another incredibly corrupt politician, keep in mind what has taken place, and remember that this entire thing is a show. Nothing but a show.

There’s very little doubt about this part of the story. Now tell me what work Hunter did for that $27 million. The Chinese and Ukrainians are not dumb people. They got something for that money, if only an anvil to hang over Joe’s head. And it seems like that worked.

Where was this a year or two ago? As it is, this now looks like the naked political move that it is, rather than a legitimate investigation and report, no matter how valid the charges and evidence - which is no doubt compelling and damning. But the stupid congressional Republicans were never serious about a serious investigation - it was always just theater, just like every other damn thing from them is a show.
So what do they do now? Send it over to DOJ and demand an instant indictment and prosecution? Given the Republicans' own delay, the DOJ could just as easily spend two or three years themselves "investigating" before they decide what to do about the charges.

Biden is guilty of something - at the very least in aiding and turning a blind eye toward Hunter et al's corruption.
That said, I'm sick and tired of all the misuses of the impeachment process. Trump's enemies did this repeatedly - conducting impeachment investigations that had no chance, or even intent, of removing the president. Now Biden's opponents retaliate with one. I sure hope this has not become standard practice.
If they'd sincerely thought that these crimes made it paramount to remove Biden as president, their investigation would have been at this stage years ago. Instead, they bring it up shortly before the election at a time when, even if they are ultimately successful, he'll at best be removed for the final few months of his term.
Announcing this so close to November, will lead the casual voter to write it off as yet another baseless attempt to influence the election. Even worse, it normalizes the egregious lawfare that the democrats have been conducting on Trump by setting up what looks to most viewers as a now standard series of criminal charges for the next ex-president.
This should have been either an impeachment process completed years ago, a criminal investigation conducted years ago, or a criminal investigation leading to charges after the election. All three of those were possible. This "pretend we need to remove a president before he completes a few final lame duck months" nonsense removes credibility from what should have been a serious investigation of a significant crime.

A federal prosecutor was assigned to Hunter Biden many, many years ago. He sat on the cases until statute of limitations ran out for the 2014-2016 cases. Can you guess why they did that? Its because Joe Biden would have been implicated. Then they attempted to slip an insane plea deal pass a judge, who refused to allow it. So, please if you wish to blame someone for this: blame the Biden administration, Garland, etc.
