Laura Ingraham detects Trump's gender fluidity.

ADDED: As you can see a few posts down, I've been reading "John Adams" by David McCullough. After writing this post, I went out for a walk with my audiobook version and was stunned to hear a passage that fit with the topic of a President's gender fluidity. From pages 659-660, about the presidential campaign of 1800:
Not satisfied that the old charges of monarchist and warmonger were sufficient, [the propagandist James] Callender called Adams a “repulsive pedant,” a “gross hypocrite,” and “in his private life, one of the most egregious fools upon the continent.” Adams was “that strange compound of ignorance and ferocity, of deceit and weakness,” a “hideous hermaphroditical character which has neither the force and firmness of a man, nor the gentleness and sensibility of a woman.”

There is no plural.

If you are referring to a group with me in it then it is the people with the God emperor.

Pronouns in bios are ridiculous.

I guarantee employers are passing over resumes if pronouns are included. The basically state "I will be and entitled pain the ass, unproductive, and difficult to work with."

The worst are she/her and he/him. It just reinforces the idea you are a follower. A virtue signaler.

That is the true divide we are facing.

If you put those pronoun statements in you resume you are signalling that you want a soft make work job in air conditioning telling other people what to do.

When Elon took over X he fired well more than half the employees.

Most giant corporations are aligned with the government. Google. Apple. Microsoft. Raytheon. etc. They are bloated and absurd, but they are also protected by the government.

These giant corporations and the government employ a massive class of useless Bureaucrats and DEI activists. Guess which gender they hail from.

They all vote Democrat for obvious reasons.

In my office, we are encouraged to put our pronouns in our email signatures. The people who do it are all women, mostly HR, and in every case it’s the pronouns you would have guessed if they hadn’t told you.

Even among trans individuals, isn't it fairly obvious what the pronouns should be? Think about it. You have a guy at your office, Russ, who one day comes in dressed and made up as a woman, and telling everyone his new name is Sheila. Isn't it kind of obvious that "Sheila's" pronouns are she/her? Or let's say Russ is not trans -- he's still Russ, as always. Why should Russ have to declare his pronouns, if there's no ambiguity about his gender identity? The only people for whom this is even theoretically relevant are people who are adopting a genderless or gender-ambiguous identity. This adds up to vanishingly few individuals. Almost all trans people are PRESENTING as either male or female, through their new names, clothes, etc.

It is not an exaggeration to say that we are a Fascist country these days, and I suspect it has long been the case. We are still not QUITE an authoritarian country, just don't be getting out of line or involved in things that are none of your business, like election security...

And most importantly, don't be thinking you can run for the highest office in the country unless you have been vetted and approved by the ruling class. It won't end well for you if you do.

The small company I work for supplies large automotive and heavy equipment OEMs. As you state they are bloated and absurd. I've always claimed 30% of the cost of your automobile is wasted mid-level labor that doesn't produce a damn thing. These people are good at digging holes, just to fill them in. Change for change sake only. Noting to do with efficiency, quality, productivity etc...

And it's worse since COVID, as many value their "work from home" day (or two), more than their actual work.

Seriously, all normal competitive folks have various personalities they use as tools to win over people. For example Trump has 14 different clubs for 14 different uses in his golf bag. In fact that is talent needed in our President. I have observed 4 or 5 that our President is skilled at using. Would we want any less from our President.

The question is whether he uses those talents for us or sells it for ChiCom cash and diamonds.

Loved that Trump appeared at the AABJ convention. Refreshing to see a leader take questions from those who hate him. That is the first step to normality nd civility. The second step is for the haters to become self aware. One can hope.

At the link, another interviewer leading with a speech badly disguised as a question. Donald Trump sat quietly for the entire speech- err... question (nearly a minute long) before saying anything and was in the middle of his reply when he was interrupted by the "interviewer".

Well.... to me both of those examples do not fall into the category of Gender Fluidity, or even close to it. There's an element of androgyny missing from both examples. Gender fluid means the subject is uncertain of their own gender identity, doesn't it, or feels compelled to drift between the two?

I'm quite certain that Trump isn't so driven - to me he's always ready to channel his inner Hun, although he also seems comfortable addressing the more feminine parts of his character, emotionally. I think he's just rejecting the BS. And I'm equally sure that we shouldn't be looking for gender insights on Adams from one of his strongest detractors, who seems quite free with his tendency to cast insults. So.... no.

A pronoun is an index word, not having a meaning independent of context. "I" is the person speaking or writing in the context of speaking or writing. "He" is the male mentioned before or sometimes afterwards, "she" is the female. To load that with an additional shell that the he may actually be a she etc. makes the pronoun unusable.

I read John Adams several years ago. Then I caught the mini-series just last year on Amazon, I guess it was. Good stuff.

But this year I got through Truman. Equally excellent, and probably worthy of a mini-series itself. McCullough is good.

The Jacksonians said much the same thing about John Adams's son, John Quincy Adams. Then the Whigs turned the tables and branded Jackson's handpicked successor Martin Van Buren an effete, "used-up" little man, used to fine linens, fine china, and fine silverware, someone far different from the tough frontier general William Henry Harrison who was content with a jug of hard cider (Harrison was actually a descendant of the First Families of Virginia).

James Callender was an equal opportunity propagandist. When Jefferson didn't reward him for his attacks on the Federalists Adams and Hamilton, Callender turned on Jefferson and went public with the Sally Heming's rumors. Callender came to a bad end shortly afterwards. There are lessons there for both flacks and the politicians who employ them.

Trump is as the phrase went "secure enough in his masculinity" to not worry about pronouns. Before gender became fluid, there was getting in touch with one's feminine side and feeling comfortable with it. Animus and anima, yin and yang and all that.
