Seems like pure bullshit that the prosecution gets to go last...apparently it's a NY thing.

And we found out today that DeNiro is a great actor, as he plays a tough guy on-screen but is a world-class pussy in real life...

So how long does the jury need to sit before coming back with the predetermined guilty verdict to convince people that they actually discussed the case?

What's the over/under or how long they pretend to deliberate?

My guess is- if they don't come to a conclusion on the first day- it's a hung jury. Someone was really paying attention and saw the trial for the Soviet show it was.

I was expecting to see a lot more blog commentary or threadreaderapp threads on the closing arguments today. And- there isn't much. Not even here.

My time is very limited. I am sure I lose out on a lot of things. There are millions of unknown unknowns, and many known unknowns. I cannot evaluate every unknown unknown to determine if it was worth the time, so I only select from the known unknowns based on my specific criteria and even then I leave many unexplored. Random links fall into the the unknown unknowns, and thus cannot compete with the known unknowns.

I have to admit I don't even read every Althouse post, but thankfully her titles and intros allow me the ability to decide before investing too much time.

So the Alitos upside-down flag story takes another factual turn. First, Justice Alito reported that wife Martha hung the upside-down flag in retaliation to an anti-Trump sign erected in a neighbor's yard. WAPO interviewed the Alitos on January 20, 2021, when the flag was hoisted wrong. The Alitos claimed that words were exchanged and Martha got called a lewd epithet.

The police in Fairfax County, Va., received an unusual phone call on Feb. 15, 2021. A young couple claimed they were being harassed by the wife of a Supreme Court justice. Now the Badens from down the street say they never saw nor know anything about the Alito upside-down flag. So the dates don't match. thus our SCOTUS judge continues to lie through his teeth.

So for example this link:

You can see the source is wsj.com and you can see the title of the story in the SEO friendly link.

The ONLY real journalist out there AT the border telling us what is REALLY happening to our country.

Bill Melugin
@BillMelugin_
NEW: Another 118 Chinese nationals crossed illegally into San Diego sector yesterday, per CBP sources.

I’m told San Diego sector has now had 30,000+ Chinese since October 1st.

Other San Diego sector nationalities since 10/1:

8,900+ India
7,800+ Turkey
2,900+ Uzbekistan
4,400+ Mauritania
3,000+ Vietnam
5,600+ Guinea

30,000+ Chinese crossing illegally in San Diego sector since 10/1 is unprecedented.
It’s an 8,600% increase over all of fiscal year 2021, when just 342 Chinese nationals crossed illegally - across the entire southern border.

There is now an orchestrated, well organized cartel smuggling operation of Chinese into Southern California, and it appears there has essentially been zero effort to stop it.

Everything about what the Biden campaign did this morning was absolutely hilarious.

They decided it would be great idea to show that Biden isn't involved in prosecuting his political opponent by having a press conference outside the NYC courtroom where they also got the date wrong on their media advisory.

Their "special guests" were lunatic actor Robert De Niro wearing a mask on an 80 degree spring day four years after covid, one unhinged capitol police officer who lied about everything that happened to him on J6, and another one best known for hitting on 20 year old girls at DC bars.

They spent the whole thing getting drowned out by Trump supporters yelling "FJB" and they had to answer questions such as "is Trump a threat to all these wars Biden has gotten us in."

Overall a 10/10 morning.

I see the Biden campaign has admitted sending Robert DeNiro and two capitol policemen to NYC to make a scene at the Trump trial. DeNiro? He's a foul mouthed old fool - seems to fitting represent Biden. The best part? DeNiro was shouted down by Trump supporters and required a police escort to escape.

If you ever actually watched an Oliver Stone movie, and checked it against the historical record, you would see that it is very insulting to Stone to compare him to gadfly, who just regurgitates the kinds of lies that Stone exposes. You are told not to believe the things that Stone says, but in the movie JFK, there is only one scene which isn't backed up by the historical record, and that is a personal recollection of something that the New Orleans prosecutor said happened to him, that an anonymous CIA agent told him that he was on the right track with the JFK assassination, well guess what? Revelations in the past couple of years of CIA involvement bear that out too. You should watch the movie again with an open mind. The CIA assassination was where "government of the people, by the people, for the people" perished from the earth. JFK wanted to end the Cold War. Nixon was also taken down by these people, you know, the guy who made peace with China and ended the Viet Nam War. When LBJ took over for JFK, he ramped up Viet Nam, Gerald Ford oversaw the coverup of the JFK assassination in Congress. There is nothing the spooks who run our government hate more than a president who wants to give the people what they want, which is peace. The persecution of Trump follows the same exact patterns as the persecution of these two other presidents who sought world peace, Trump didn't think that it was in America's interests to fight a war with Russia over who ruled over a bunch of Russian speaking people who lived in what had been Russia for centuries, on the other side of the planet.

It's really important to the people who actually run this country that they keep us from thinking too much about what they actually do, so they keep their firehose of lies running non stop. If COVID and what they have done to Trump and the J6 political prisoners, on top of JFK and Nixon hasn't shown you this, maybe you are simply more comfortable believing their lies.

Here’s some sobering news while the little shits argue in court…combined Social Security trust funds will
be depleted in 2035, one year later than projected last year. At that point, annual inflows
to the trust fund would be sufficient to pay approximately 83% of scheduled benefits.
That percentage will continue to decline, until 2098, when only 73% of scheduled benefits
would be supported by annual revenues.

You raisins will be gone, so you've got that going for you…

imTay said...

Oh yeah, as soon as Trump was out of the way after a rigged election, Biden started provoking Russia into a war. These patterns repeat and repeat. It's not just "bad luck" that we have been involved in so many wars since the fall of our main rival, the USSR.

Sometimes I think the cynicism on the right is excessive. Yes, the jury is almost certainly badly biased and chosen because (not despite) they were eager to convict. Still, the prosecution’s case is such a mess, all they need is one person with character or even just a sense of shame, and they won’t get a conviction.

The Soviets may have been massive practitioners of disinformation, but our government has raised it to an art form. Look at the program put in place by the Obama Administration, the Cyber Threat Intelligence League, Wikipedia has no mention of the leaks that showed the political intentions of the organization, and how it was even trained by our government in "false flag" propaganda tactics. Charlottesville was one, and a very successful one, J6 another, but Wikipedia describes CTIL as a praiseworthy and award-winning (red flag right there) organization simply out to protect medical professionals against "disinformation." No mention there of this story:

CTIL Files #1: US And UK Military Contractors Created Sweeping Plan For Global Censorship In

Whistleblower makes trove of new documents available to Public and Racket, showing the birth
of the Censorship Industrial Complex in reacon to Brexit and Trump elecon in 2016

https://docs.house.gov/meetings/FD/FD00/20231130/116615/HHRG-118-FD00-20231130-SD001.pdf

I am sure that Stone gets some stuff wrong from time to time, but I am also sure that he is a lot more interested in getting the truth out than the people who slander him constantly and he is up against a disinformation machine that can only be described as majestic in scope.

The CIA has a team dedicated to updating Wikipedia. You can't be cynical enough with these bastards.

Same here. While I can surely use HTML codes, I always paste in text URLs for security and transparency. Some web browsers show the target of a clickable URL when you mouse over, while other browsers do not. Also, a text link isn't directly traceable to the ID of the person who clicks--Blogger is a Google platform after all. Those who are interested in a story can keep their ID private with copy and paste.
