The person imitated has to be worth ridiculing through parody of their real persona. That rules out most politicians, who are parodies of real persons already.
Does anyone today do a good Rich Little imitation?
that was hilarious, hard to do impressions of the current crop because most female actresses today don't have distinctive (sic) voices like they used to. Bette Davis, Tallulah Bankhead, M Monroe, or Hepburn. Its tough to do impressions of people who are bland.
And barbara walters. LOL. Talk about an affirmative action baby.
Rich Little is THE master. He has dubbed for stars David Niven, James Cagney and Gene Kelly in movies when the actors could no longer speak coherently. His “Nixon” was hilarious.
YYet further evidence of the breakdown of our culture. All of these celebrities are old, except Rachel Maddow.
We no longer have the cultural glue that gets ALL of us to see the same media. There are no Dick Cavet shows, or popular Laverne and Shirley tv shows.
If given the task to find 10 celebrities under 40 that a plurality of Americans could identify from an impression, I bet I could not come up with more than 4. I would be surprized if anyone could come up with 10.

I like when people enjoy what they do.
Young people will go crazy for these impressions. Does she do any other dead or almost dead people?
lol.
Rachel Maddow channels Obama. It fits.
I want to see Sen. Katie Britt.
Fundiebabyvoice.
I like how she nails it and cracks herself up in the process.

Anybody who can laugh like a hyena can imitate Kamala.

I bet she could do a great impression of Chuck.

I was pleased to see Rich Little is still alive an active!

Getting the voice close on Kamala is one thing. But to get the total effect takes a lobotomy.
"A bit of nasality". A bit?
Cher's easy. You just think of any Pearl Jam song and you're halfway there.
I thought Maddow -was- a female impersonator.
XX. Three trimesters. It's a girl!
She's good. Her Barbara Walters impersonation is especially well done.
Just in terms of the quality of voices, I always liked the voice of Carole Simpson on ABC News years ago.
