Scheffler is on 18th hole with a 4 stroke lead at Augusta. Wondering how CBS will censor his Jesus talk when he puts on his green jacket. Stay tuned.

A good day shooting. I spent more time coaching than shooting.

I looked for the editing of Scottie Scheffler's "Jesus Talk," but I couldn't find any such discussion on Scottie's part. I did find a removal of a so-called Christian's remarks that was a Fox News complaint about NBC removing C.J. Stroud's praise of the Lord.

Sunday Night Football on NBC edited out Christian quarterback C.J. Stroud's faith proclamation in a video interview posted to X after his Houston Texans' Wild Card playoff victory over the weekend.

Here's how the interview went on the live broadcast, as Kathryn Tappen asked Stroud, "What does this moment mean?"

“First and foremost, I just want to give all glory and praise to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” the rookie signal caller replied.

He added: “I mean, it’s been amazing being in this city for as short [a time] as I’ve been, but the love that I’ve got — I’ve really just been doing it for Houston, man, people back home. I’m blessed to be in the position that I am and blessed enough to be playing at a high level right now. And we’ve got to just keep it going. But I’m super blessed.”

At the end of the interview, Stroud told Tappen, “Thank you, God bless.”

"First and foremost", Stroud did not answer the interviewer's question, so removing it was designed not to insult non-christians in subsequent broadcasts.

Then he went into his not-so-Christian "I" answers which don't sound religious at all, but at least that part of the quotation contained the pertinent answer that he was playing well.

Billionaire Mark Cuban says he's happy to pay his fair share of taxes — unlike one former president.

"I pay what I owe. Tomorrow I will wire transfer to the IRS $288,000,000.00," Cuban wrote on X on Sunday.

"This country has done so much for me, I'm proud to pay my taxes every single year. Tag a former president that you know doesn't," Cuban added, in what appeared to be a jab at former President Donald Trump.

This isn't the first time Cuban has taken a swipe at Trump. Last month, Cuban told Axios that he would vote for President Joe Biden over Trump "all day every day."

"I don't want a snake oil salesperson as president," Cuban said of Trump.

"Trump voters are happy with their snake oil whether it works or not," he told Axios.

Headline on Zero Hedge: 19 Retired Generals, Admirals File Supreme Court Brief Against Trump Immunity Bid

One of the signatories is General Michael V. Hayden. Remember him? The utterly disgraced former CIA Director who was one of the 51 intelligence officials who claimed the Uday Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.

There’s a report in the Jerusalem Post that Joe Biden approved an attack by Iran on Israel “within certain limits.” At this point i don’t know whether or not the story is true, but I do know that it is perfectly plausible, and I find that reprehensible and even frightening. So much for him telling the Iranians “Don’t.”

Our church hosted a group of 24 men from Teen Challenge yesterday. Listening to their testimonies on their liberation from drug addiction was awe inspiring (Read: Jesus). If you know someone in that situation have them contact Teen Challenge. They have chapters all over the country. It's not just for teens, any age is accepted.

Mark Cuban is free to send the government MORE Of his own money to blow on other countries wars...but complaining that others take advantage of the laws that CONGRESS wrote is dumb. Why pay more than you have to, to a government that HATES you?? gad has problems figuring this out on his own, because he has to read from the Progressive talking points manual.

gadfly, he is talking about all the taxes submitted to IRS. How much of that is for Taxable income? That's the silly carnival game played by leftist. The itemization of taxable income vs things like capital gains

In the two years he's been dominate, first it was pray he can make that putt, now it's expected. Scheffler is a grounded individual that treats people with respect and kindness. He wins. These are the foundations of a person we should all look up to.

(So happy that the LIV golfers were not anywhere near the leaderboard)

Yes Joe Biden owes tax on his income from illegal activities. Schedule 1 and Schedule C

Jesus, Gadfly. Can you be more pathetic. Take a break from your childish Trump envy and maybe go to church. It would do you a lot of good. Maybe hate on god for a change.

When you give a terrorist organization billions of dollars isn't that a tacit agreement that they should use those dollars to attack the object of their terror?

Biden's greased palms have led to many self-contradictory positions, and he must double down on every lie just to survive the next day. Those 51 intelligence officials would have been run out of town as recently as the year 2000. The pro-Palestine activists will not rest until the drive Jews from the party. But now, Biden literally gives every activist in the Party what they want and then offers an opposite gift to their enemies.

Biden's easy-money loans and low interest rates of 2021 to 2022 went straight to Wall St and drove up inflation. (Many on Wall St. are Jewish). His attempts to forgive student loans are gifts to wealthy blue state parents, even as they simultaneously cause inflation and hurt the blue state poor. Biden's COVID and war spending (Ukraine, Israel) went to state-funded "private businesses" that support him.

When members of the Biden coalition find they cannot win as a crazy and violent mob, they'll turn on each other as violent mobs always do. The sleepy, slow, and naïve Republicans may or may not wake up.

Tulsi's new book, available at the Althouse Amazon portal.

"Gabbard notes that we now live in a nation of double standards, two nations in parallel really. In one, Democrat elites and their friends can get away with anything. In the other, Democrat elites indict and prosecute Trump and anyone else who challenges them for actions that have never been prosecuted and that they’ve done themselves."

Trial starts today.

Yes, well evidently Biden voters are happy with their woke oil when it mostly doesn't even work or works badly.

Yesterday I got to hear Haydn’s Creation for the first time…stupendous choral work. Transcendent glory used to be an end toward which artists strove. This was a presentation of a group of young musicians who are passionate about reviving early or forgotten liturgical masterpieces. They’re called The Lafayette Musicians, in Dallas. Seeing this beautiful old church filled with young families and young musicians was a much needed reminder that there are other movements in the culture besides the terrifying ones that make the Althouse blog, like choking. Seek that which is above.

Mark Cuban is a Truther nutjob.

And it would be nice - just once - if you could provide any proof whatsoever that Trump never paid what he owed in taxes.

Just once.

That would be my take, but the "Death to America" really sold it.
