I built a rock scraper out of a pallet, a 2x4 with a 45-deg leading edge and wire mesh. The inspiration came from this youtube video. I doubled the interior cavity by removing the top boards and adding 4x4 spacers. I also added a 1/8-in steel plate (2-in x 48-in) to protect the scraper board. The scraper board is blunted by all of the rocks. The wire mesh the width of the pallet and 3-ft long.
The dirt tends to cake, and needs to be shoveled out of the cavity and onto the wire mesh. It will work best in dry soil, ok in damp soil and not at all in wet soil. It works, buts I still ended up doing a lot of hand raking and shoveling.
"Other protesters are locking arms and forming lines at the upper and lower ends of the lawn, blocking the entrance to the green.
UPDATE: A demonstration marshal has requested that all reporters from the Yale Daily News leave the “liberated zone.”
“We want to make sure everyone is [in the liberated zone] because they believe in divestment, and they believe in Palestinian liberation,” the marshal said."
Interesting. A good video and the man likes his golf. My space is broken up into much smaller patches, but your experience and his have got me thinking.

My morning photo was weirdly similar to yours. I woke up expecting today's picture to be very similar to yesterday's - overcast with a blue tint. But much to my surprise - with the rains came a huge emergence of green which changed the photo altogether.

Its like listening to Howitzer Howard talk about himself.
"More than half of voters think former President Trump has committed crimes for which he should be convicted, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris poll shared with The Hill.
Fifty-five percent of surveyed voters think Trump has committed crimes, a finding that comes as the first of four criminal indictments against the former president goes before a jury in New York.
A 53-percent majority also said Trump’s legal cases make it “impossible” for him to be a viable candidate for the Oval Office, even as he campaigns for another four years."

"Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani will posthumously recognize Beau Biden with the Presidential Medal on the Rule of Law during a ceremony in the republic’s legislative building. The award will recognize Beau Biden for his time spent there following the Kosovo War in which he worked with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to train judges and prosecutors to strengthen the justice system after the republic gained its independence."
"George Stephanopoulos, the former Bill Clinton staffer who is somehow now the political director of ABC News, (which the horrendous show, The View is considered part of) opened his Sunday show this week with a mini rant about how abnormal the 2024 election is and how supposedly abnormal Trump is as a candidate.
To prove his point, George cites all of the sham investigations, court cases and flimsy allegations that Democrats have made against Trump."

My photo has a distinct look because there was a beautifully gentle fog on the lake. If you click through the photo, you can see a few other photos I took around the same time and get a sense of the weather phenomenon that made this one special.
The shade of blue can vary from minute to minute. That may account for much of the difference you are seeing between your 2 photos. Look at mine from my set. The blue is there in earlier pictures.
The gad cited: " ... recognize Beau Biden with the Presidential Medal on the Rule of Law ..
Nothing says Rule of Law like jailing the political opposition. The gad doesn't see the irony.
No word on whether Biden's remaining son, that would be Hunter, is in line for any awards. Just remember Joe said Hunter was the smartest person he knew. Looking at the Biden cabinet, that may be true.
Former Republican congressman George Santos says he's bringing his drag-queen alter ego 'out of the closet'. Let's just hope he doesn't start doing story hour at the local library.
The US has supplied 31 Abrams tanks, at a cost of $10 mil each, to the Ukes. Five (5) have been destroyed by Russian drones. The remaining tanks have been pulled back.
LLR-democratical lonejustice: "Former Republican congressman George Santos says he's bringing his drag-queen alter ego 'out of the closet'. Let's just hope he doesn't start doing story hour at the local library."
What a strange post as it is official LLR-democratical policy to not only support drag queen story hours, but also keeping groomer and pornographic materials available for young children in schools as well as keeping mutilation surgeries available to young children.
I suggest lonejustice get with his LLR-democratical Brigade co-morons Chuck and Rich to hash this out.
Beau Biden never served in combat, never actually fought for his country, did not die from "injuries" in Iraq, was never involved in any shootouts, did not have parents that had to "receive that phone call", etc.
Beau did get some administrative awards from political connections, one of which you provided the details on...which makes every real veteran laugh their arse off...particularly because you, in your hilarious military ignorance, actually thought you had a gotcha!
Your ignorance is in fact so profound, not only is it clear you never served but you clearly dont even know anyone who served!
You know what Beau spent his time on in Iraq and elsewhere? Using moronic ROE to prosecute real soldiers and shuffle some papers around a desk and being kept far away from any danger.
You guys have spent so many years covering for the biden's "tough guy" lies you are falling all over yourselves.
"The District of Columbia’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel issued a recommendation this week battering the credibility of former Donald Trump Justice Department attorney Jeffrey Clark, saying Clark’s “dishonest attempt to create national chaos” in the run-up to Jan. 6 meant the only suitable sanction would be disbarment because, put simply, nothing else would do."
And another Trump-hired lawyer bites the dust. Are there no honest Trump administration officials? First, Clark was indicted in Georgia, and now this.

Can you read, Hump? I corrected Drago's misrepresentation of the news and cited the exact quotation about the award given to Beau by the President of Kosovo. The award was entitled "Rule of Law " by Kosovoans, not me. And jailing political opposition is incorrect. Folks in jail were sent there in the American way - by juries.
And in case you didn't know, Beau and Hunter were never politicians. But if you are looking for failsons, check out "Uday and Qusay" Trump.
Holy Stolen Valor Gadfly, are you suggesting because someone in Kosovo gave Joe Biden's son some award, that makes Beau Biden, who died of cancer in a hospital, the equivalent of a police officer that died in the line of duty?
Gadfly, I bet you go out of your way to thank veterans for their service on Memorial Day and ignore their explanation of how you don't understand the purpose of Memorial Day.
Stolen Valor gadfly: "Can you read, Hump? I corrected Drago's misrepresentation of the news and cited the exact quotation about the award given to Beau by the President of Kosovo."
LOLxInfinity!!!
Hey gadfly hump, you did no such thing. I was not referencing in any way the idiotic political piece of crap suckup "award" some Kosovo politician threw Biden's way.
Idiot.
I was accurately characterizing Joe Dementia telling an audience regarding the police shootout that left 4 officers dead, that he, himself, Joe dementia, also had to take "that phone call" that comes when an officer's family is notified of the death of the officer in the line of duty.
Joe dementia is the one that posthumously awarded Beau ANOTHER Stolen Valor status...that of police officer killed in the line of duty.
How many different ways for Bau to die and be a "hero" is that now? But hey, I'm sure you have his word...as a biden!

Excellent photo. It has a Chinese feeling, and you managed to keep Van Vleck out of the composition.
My sweetpeas are up! The fencing went up around them today -- the rabbits in my yard are voracious. This weekend I'll put up the trellis.
That’s a lovely photo, Ann.

That photo is delightfully different. Very fine.
Around 250 pro-divestment protesters have begun to pitch an encampment of about 40 tents on the Cross Campus green.

Quite tranquil. Among your best shots!
Don't be disingenuous, Gadfly. Everyone knows Beau died in Iraq and was eaten by New Guinean cannibals.
Kosovo is where jack smith forced out the prime minister and nearly caused a civil war
I think I also had a setting out of the "auto" position.

Beau Biden was the elected Attorney General for Delaware you complete and utter buffoon!
At the time of his death (NOT in combat!) he was a declared candidate for the democratical nomination for Gov of Delaware!
My god, how do you even get dressed in the morning?
