Among the many stories in New York, the issue with squatters seems to becoming a major problem. I’m glad the courts are focused on Trump, because otherwise they might have to deal with the criminals actually living in New York.
A review of our IRA plan notices revealed that you recently received a notice of required minimum distribution which misstated, in the second paragraph of the notice, that failure to take your RMD by the end of December may result in a 50% IRS penalty on the required amount not distributed. The penalty amount was reduced and the notice should have stated that failure to take your RMD by the designated distribution date may result in a 25% IRS penalty on the required amount not distributed. Additionally, the fourth paragraph of the notice misstated that, if you are attaining age 72 by the end of this calendar year, you have until April 1 of next your to satisfy your first required minimum distribution (RMD). The notice should have stated that if you are attaining age 73 by the end of this calendar year, you have until April 1 of next year to satisfy your first RMD.
So a fuck-up moment at the bank meets the hum of the word processor.
Trump's real-time reaction to the death of Ashli Babbitt; nothing.
According to the Times, the unnamed valet also said Trump appeared unconcerned when he was told a civilian had been shot dead as the Capitol was stormed.
“I just remember seeing it in front of him,” the valet said of a card given to Trump as he watched the riot on television. “I don’t remember how it got there or whatever. But there was no, like, reaction.”
Oh. My. God. All of the weeping and wailing from the TrumpWing about poor Ashli Babbitt. All of the twisted knickers from TrumpWing media. Worst/best of all; Trump himself doing repeated media plays about poor Ashli.
In the last 48 hours the New Soviet Democraticals have changed the definitions of "bloodbath" and "Cloward-Piven Strategy"...just as they have changed the definitions for so many other key words and phrases over the last several years including "vaccine" (at least twice!), recession, man/woman, pedophiles/groomers, etc.
There are lots and lots of Howards and LLR-democraticals staying as busy as little Owellian beavers.
I see the illegals are getting a bit frisky at the southern border. I suspect President Sponge-Brains might label this a minor incursion ... as the razor wire is cut and the border agents get steamrolled. Great optics Dems, you must be proud.
I had a thought. It happens. I thought, that it would be fun, to be God.
It would be fun, because, you would get to meet every single human being who ever lived, or ever would. You could spend an hour with them, or a day, or, of course, eternity. And You might well understand them, even better than they understand themselves. Of course, there might be many souls it would be painful to understand, in many different ways. But You didn't create the Universe to keep things simple.
My kids watched some sort of cartoon, I'm not really clear on the details. But I distinctly remember the song, that said "God loves all he made, even evil trolls".
I suppose there is a certain limitation of viewpoint in my maunderings on godhead. Assuming you were God, why would You confine Your understanding to a sort of monkey that happened to have been widespread in a certain short period of the Earth's existence? Might it not be just as interesting -- or, perhaps, as uninteresting -- to spend some time getting to know each and every one of the ants, termites, swordfish, trilobites, bison, triceratops, dugong ...
Indeed, mightn't it be that God finds the chemical processes involved in the ongoing existence of a fungus, or even a stone, to be entirely worthy of inspection? Is it likely that the chemical processes underlying what I regard as the ideas that flit through my mind are any more intrinsically interesting to a godlike intellect, than any of the other electrochemical processes that proceed on this Earth in such profusion? It's all good. Let it rain down, it is all good.
@wendybar, if you’re around, about a week ago you mentioned acquiring a gun. If a retired competitive shooter (arthritis sucks!), may I offer a suggestion that worked for the wife? Before acquirng a firearm you should get training, preferably from an NRA-certified instructor. As I perceive you to identify as female, you might want to seek out a female instructor. It turns out that there are issues that women tend to face but that men often don’t. For instance a lot of people apparently think a woman really won’t pull the trigger and shoot them. But if you are forced to shoot an ambitious DA May try to put you in jail. The wife’s female instructor (retired police) recommended my wife aim for a male intruder’s crotch — and smile. Modern urban legend says that men will always believe that. I don’t know if that retired policewoman was right, but speaking as a biological male, I find it to be plausible.
A good instructor will also assess how powerful a firearm you can safely handle under stress. .357 mag? Or .22 LR? .45 acp? If you decide on a semiauto, make sure your instructor teaches you how to clear a jam. Discovering that you don’t know how to clear a double feed is problematic if you’re fighting for your life.

1. What evidence do you have that “the issue with squatters seems to becoming a major problem"? Because of one incident out in Queens? 2. The courts of the City of New York deal with hundreds of cases involving landlords and tenants and licenses and squatters every day. They actually can do this and deal with Trump at the same time. 3. A squatter is subject to an eviction proceeding in New York City housing court or an ejectment proceeding in New York Supreme Court, but I don’t think a squatter is a “criminal". 4. Methinks you watch too much Fox News.
I definitely am thinking about it. I never wanted to own one, but now it seems like it should be a necessity under this regime There is a gun range near me that does lessons. They also have self defense lessons for women. I am looking in to both for safety, since I am now my Mothers caretaker. The news has her frightened. Our country is going nuts.

Gold Bar Bob Menendez (D-Career Grafter) has announced he is not running for reelection. Fellow senator John Fetterman responded: "dibs on your parking space".
I got Bonfire of the Vanities DVD upon hearing it's an awful movie, because I like the stars; it is in fact an awful movie, at least as far as I got, concluding nothing good can come from this setup. The director must have sought awful acting from them, repeating until they got it right.

AS a Democrat. If he is cleared.(which he may be, because right now there is a "D" after his name)..he will run as an independent, which is a joke..because he is as Progressive as they come.
I can't HATE these corrupt thieves enough...Shut down the damn runaway spending government. This is BULLSHIT.
Jesse Watters @JesseBWatters What's in the new monster bill Congress is rushing to pass? - $850k for a gay senior home - $15 million to pay for Egyptian's college tuitions - $400k for a gay activist group to teach elementary kids about being trans - $500k for a DEI zoo - $400k for a group to gives clothes to teens to help them hide their gender
@BUMBLE BEE, Thanks for the JS Bach link, and Happy Birthday Bach !
@wendybar, ditto @Big Mike's suggestions, and would also point out that you should try both revolvers and automatic handguns, and try out multiple models and calibers to see what will work best for you. There is a lot of variance in these, and everybody's hands are different. Good Luck ! You might be surprised at your enjoyment hitting targets.

Creighton v. Oregon.
Greg McDermott v. Dana Altman. Dana was our coach before Mac. When Dana left CU, he rescued Mac’s career as he was on the hot seat at ISU.

What's the over and under for Shohei Ohtani’s interpreter committing harakiri?
BTW. Suicide is not the answer. 'I Just want to make it clear', as Fanny Willis would say.
Today, back in 1885, the best composer that ever lived was born, Johann Sebastian Bach.
