The concept of loving your enemies entails recognition that some people are your enemies.
Is Trump's post inconsistent with the Jesus quote? Maybe not. He's saying "Happy Easter" to all, but specifically to those who are, as his words delineate, his enemies.
They are clearly "those who persecute" him.
“And remember when you’re out there

There's nothing in this verse to indicate that Christians should not resist evil or evil doers.

Forgiveness is all well and good, but I've always found vengeance to be more fun.
