Waiting to see what President John Gill has to say. Where's Captain Kirk when we need him?

Joe Smith said...

Typing this before the speech.

Have to believe he will announce his resignation.

He can't survive this.

His usefulness as a puppet is over.

Also, which dead European leader will Cryptkeeper Joe name-drop next? Gorbachev? Francisco Franco?

They've known Biden was gone before the election.

Liberals will fuck with the security of the nation if it means keeping power.

But kudos to Obama, he's destroyed America.

Joe Smith said...

They needed to get him to the convention.

This wasn't part of the plan.

He's fighting this, but it won't save him.

Put a fork in him.

I will wait for the arguments about whether or not a VP can be voted on successfully...

He just exonerated Trump...

Biden missed a great chance in his 8:00 speech, of pardoning Trump for his classified documents case. Instead he went the "Let me show you what an asshole I am" route.

Joe Smith said...

Biden says he was 'exonerated.'

I thought he was a lawyer...he was never tried.

***

He walks off and them comes back and mumbles incoherently.

He really hurt himself with that move.

President John Gill looked kinda shaky there. Asked about Gaza, Biden says, "I was the one who got the President of Mexico to open the gates to let in humanitarian relief." "President of Mexico"?!?! Scary times, people. Scary times.

All of the Democrat Fantasies sleep in the ground.

1. Trump the rapist. if A DC jury charges Steyn 1MM for Mann's ugliness what is the shame of an NYC jury charging trump for non rape of an undetailed nature.

2. Fanni is a worse criminal than Trump regarding RICO.

3. Beiden is a worse criminal than Trump regarding classified docs.

4. 14th Amendment, children who point fingers have fingers slapped.

5. Biden can have seecret docs but Trump can't. That sounds good.

What remains? Stupid democrats need to be run out of town for being stupid.

Hillary, you started all of this shit. You destroyed liberalism.

Flipped on CNN to see how much ass they could kiss.

They reported it, and apparently it's a nothing-burger.

You can lie by telling the mathematical truth. Propaganda is thy name. Can you say one million plus one dollar? was it 1.3M no, you are sick. Sick and evil. Stick it in deeper every chance you get.

How did his Visiting Angel Jill Biden let him escape confinement tonight? Biden aides can't be pleased. I suppose we should be thankful Biden was clothed. I half expected Biden would surface in an open back hospital shirt. After all it is past sundown.

Biden didn't do what I expected right at the beginning of his speech, namely pardon Trump for Trump's documents case. Moral moment missed.

Instead Biden attacked Trump for his case, going full out for derangement.

I'm thinking of the moment when the surface tension breaks on the top of a container that overspills its liquid contents. I picture the mysterious 'whoever is actually in charge of Plan B' individual uttering "release the hounds" like a latter-day Montgomery Burns.

Do the hounds go for the old guy or the press corps? The boys in the copy room are working on a rewrite of the standard narrative. The last version is no longer operative.

Stay alert for updates.

"Republicans pounce on report that put's spotlight on Biden's memory lapses." - New York Times

Like when he was Vice President, stuff like that. That's not a lapse of memory, that's cognitive impairment. Unless the claim is that he doesn't remember when he was elected, or how many years he served. That would be cognitive impairment too, though.

Meanwhile Putin drones out a PhD thesis, just for contrast.

The Democrats have found their replacement for Joe Biden. Taylor Swift was born in Pennsylvania, December 13, 1989. She will be 35 years old by inauguration day.

Just asking questions (Jaq) said...

There are people out there banking 7 figure increases the the value of their portfolios every year as the stock market sops up all of these dollars that the government is printing. So that accounts for the numbers, but where does the value come from? Well, they squeeze the value out of the middle class with inflation that works like a cheese press to wring out the last bit of juice. Oh yeah, and 8 million new illegals are forcing down wages, but not for the affluent Democrats.

This is why the affluent are mostly all Democrats now, and the working class people are Republicans.

"What's the betting on how many times the network will show Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl? My bet is 10 times."

The formula is (Chiefs touchdowns)+(T Kelce receptions) - I think you're low.

Good start on the formula: "Bettors can wager on 89 Swift-related prop bets on BetOnline in an homage to the singer’s birth year and platinum record 1989. The company projects this year to be the most-bet Super Bowl in the book’s 25-year history." --
"Now, you can bet on it. Yes, it’s true: This coming Super Bowl Sunday, the odds are 12-to-1 that the biggest pop superstar of our era will be shown holding and eating a hot dog."

https://sports.yahoo.com/many-times-cbs-show-taylor-010727123.html
“If Travis Kelce makes a big play, we’re probably going to show her," Arnold told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday. "If he has a quiet game, we probably won’t show her as much.” -- “It’s kind of what happens within the context of the game,” Rikhoff said. --
Rikhoff and Arnold will have more than 165 cameras at their disposal come Sunday. Will one be dedicated to solely to Swift? -- “We’ll make sure she’s chronicled well," Rikhoff said. "We have a good plan for that. We’re comfortable.”

I'm upping my bet to 15 times.
Super Bowl will be all about the commercials and Taylor images. If Bud Light had some guts - they'd have a commercial with Taylor and Travis doing Bud Light shooters.

Hawaii thumbs it's nose at the recent Supreme Court decsion.

"Hawaii's Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that the state doesn't have to adhere to a constitutional right to carry firearms in public, deviating from a 2022 US Supreme Court decision affirming such a right.

"Article I, section 17 of the Hawaii Constitution mirrors the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution," the Supreme Court of Hawaii wrote. However, "we read those words differently than the current United States Supreme Court. We hold that in Hawaii there is no state constitutional right to carry a firearm in public."

So states can choose which Supreme Court decisions to ignore. What do you libs on blog think? Think long term now.

"Documents were moved by my staff, not me."

2/8/24, 7:05 PM

Those documents should have been locked up in a GSA-approved safe, not laying around for his "staff" to pack into boxes. The safe should have been in a GSA-approved room, not in his office.

The staff should have training in handling classified documents. It only takes a couple hours, usually only one, to learn everything about handling classified documents:

1 - Never leave them lying about, lock them up
2 - Use the transfer forms when transferring them to others
3 - Need to know
4 - Double wrap when personally moving them from A to B.
5 - Classified control is your friend! Use them.

Joe "Bribe me!" Biden used classified docs for personal gain. This is just another impeachment article.
