It's because Twitch has adopted a new policy, allowing what it calls "artistic nudity," and a lot of people on X feel called to ask what's "artistic nudity"?
I realize I have a more basic question: What's Twitch? I've heard of Twitchy, but Twitch is something else.

Twitch.tv is a website which allows users to stream a window on yheir computer screen to countless others. It is typically used to let the streamer show their contemporaneous game play (e.g. Call of Duty, Rimworld, Age of Empires, etc.), while viewers can interact or discuss in a sidebar Chat. Aside from game play, a streamer may show them producing art, just chatting about topics, reactions to certain paid-up content, or even blacksmithing.
When I was in high school, the big scandal was the English teacher who smuggled in a tape of Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet.
As others have already said, it's a fairly popular user content created live streaming service primarily focusing on video game streaming, but also is really open to just about any other kind of streaming.
I spent a while doing an online theology class on Twitch a few years ago before we moved back to SoCal (and I left the church I was connected to that inspired it).

Recently there has been complaints about female gamers appearing to be topless, with the camera keeping just enough offscreen to avoid full topless nudity. Users have been complaining that this is turning the gaming service into a cam girl platform instead.

I had to look up Twitch, too. I'm about as old as AA, and the only video game I've ever played was Pong, when it first came out and cost 25 cents. I was pretty good.
