Yes. I've seen them in the streets for the last couple of weeks cheering on men who behead babies, gut pregnant women, and tie families together, then burn them alive. It's so...feminist. These same men would make these women walk behind them, cover their hair, ears, sometimes even their eyes. Ask permission to go out without their 'man'. And submit to anything their man wants, whenever he wants it. And, as a special touch, if any of these feminist women who are cheering them on, like to have sex with other women, they would be tied up and pushed off of a tall building.

Blog viewing is selective. There's a rise in traditional femininity in the blogs. As women watch their older sisters, they're figuring out feminism is no more than another style promotion and it's losing traction.
My daughter turned 21 in late March of 2020. The family had plane and hotel reservations to meet in Vegas to celebrate together. You can see where this is going. Everything cancelled for covid.
I understand a certain nihilism in GenZ. All that was normal, all the expectations were upended. For them either everything is still shifting, or they're rebuilding from scratch. Jezebel is pre-covid and therefore non-existent.

Jezebel was a garbage site for garbage people spewing garbage for garbage readers. It's hard left victimhood identity politics helped create the current culture of unhappy, intolerant social justice warriors plaguing the land.
Young people have abandoned membership in former society-forming groups such as churches, Scouts, sports, school extracurriculars, and now look for nearly-anonymous sex rather than interpersonal relationships when meeting their peers. They actively repudiate the economic system that bore them, seeing only its flaws, and embrace the failed collectivist ideologies of the late 18th and 19th centuries, recognizing none of its flaws. They have been told and told that they are all doomed to extinction by inevitable nuclear war, climate change, overpopulation, and pollution. They are forced by government and society to abjure every "-ism" and "-phobia" imaginable, while also being told they are irredeemable practitioners of the same faults, and deserve to be punished for their mere existence.
Even such idealistic activism as being a feminist degrades into supporting the abortion death cult, and accepting the idea of being oppressed forever, rather than allowing any individual to succeed in any real life activity.
And they see nothing to look forward to? Color me surprised! I suggest the young ignore all news and disdain participation in social media, and instead concentrate with Candide-like rigor on improving their individuality, their self-reliance, and their relationships with others.

Yep. The first person I would turn to in hopes of identifying a destabilizing, regressive wave would be a 22-year-old woman focused on girlhood and identity. It's amazing all the shit a person knows just by being born with a pussy.
In the early days of Jezebel it was pretty fun to read that blog. "Crap Email from a Dude" was a clever running concept, and the commenter infighting over Obama vs. Hillary during the 2008 Primary was a telling foreshadowing of he Bernie fights eight years later.
I've tried to find it to no avail, but where was a post on main where the editors basically told the commenters to knock it off with finding any excuse to list their weight or bra size in the comments to every story.

Barbie made almost $3 Billion world-wide. But I think a movie like Barbie is generally aimed at girls and women and super hero movies are generally aimed at boys and men. So maybe the recipe is Feminism + Products aimed at girls and women equals success, but Feminism + Products aimed at boys and men equals failure.
Though I guess Jezebel was aimed at girls and women and certainly had a lot of feminism but ultimately went kaput. So perhaps there is more to it.

Check returns on the streaming stuff, Marvels, Ant Man/Wasp 3, Star Wars, Mandalarian, Eternals, Inhumans, Indiana Jones, etc.

Anna Holmes is either shocking ignorant or lying. The feminist movement, to a degree of fetish and abuse of white women, promoted any women of color (if none available, lesbians) over any white heterosexual woman from its inception and still does. No exceptions.
Alice Walker viciously denounced any white woman who was raped by a black man and dared to report it to the police. Her essay on this is required reading in any Women's Studies program in the nation. The memoirs of nascent second-wave feminists cutting their teeth in the civil rights movement are full of stories of submission to sexual abuse by both black and white male leaders. Susan Brownmiller was drummed out of the movement for merely exposing this phenomenon.
I have had job interviews where the hiring committee told me that I was by far the best qualified candidate, but did I know any black people who could apply for the job I was seeking?
