I much enjoyed this exchange between Matt Gaetz and Abby Phillips. I'm not a big fan of Gaetz, but perhaps next time she, and other CNN interviewers, will try have her facts straight before trying to score cheap points.
Joe Biden met with Benjamin Netanyahu and did something weird — he crossed himself. Was this meant as an insult towards the Israeli PM? Was Biden signaling that he is a Christian who hates Jews? Was he signaling that he regards Netanyahu as a devil? Or is it just senile dementia causing him to go strange things for unknowable reasons?
So to continue my wine discussion from the other night- my most frequent wine shop had a variety of wines at two for ten dollars. I purchased a Frontera After Midnight Concha Y Toro from Chile. Night harvested grapes. I understand why ice wine from frozen grapes makes a difference, but why night harvested grapes? I may have to look that up...
Normally I drink one glass a night, and a bottle last 3 days. One of the things I've discovered in life- if I have a virus coming on, and I drink way too much, I don't have virus symptoms the next day. A few sips left of the bottle. I'll let you know tomorrow if it worked... I woke up today with a scratch in the back of my throat- a sign I'm getting sick. Before I hit the rack, I'll be deep gargling with xylitol, erythritol and salt. Has also been proven a help, even with just salt. Xylitol and erythritol both have antiviral properties. My wife has had symptoms for days. 3 days of ivermectin- as suggested by the Front Line Critical Care Alliance, then started her on Zithromax yesterday. She was feeling better today.
The practice she visited Thursday tested her for things. Since she didn't test positive for covid or flu with the quick tests. And didn't have results by Friday... The practice I visit prescribes antibiotics when I visit and say it isn't a virus. When you get into your 60, you have a clue. I'm 68, she's 66. I've been trying to convince her to change practices.
So anyhow, the Frontera After Midnight goes down really well. I poured it into my glass, and could smell the fruitiness from 2 feet away. Highly recommended. And at 2 for 10, can't be beat for value.
Oh- the health establishment trying to regain trust? That ain't never going to happen. Well, maybe after another generation has passed.
Oh, yeah, the FLCCA is recommending ivermectin for a lot of viral infections now.

The internet says: The final vote was 216 to 212 against the rule to allow the military spending measure to proceed. All Democrats voted against it, given their opposition to the funding levels in the bill and other provisions that were added by Republicans who say they need to eliminate “woke” policies in the military.
Joining in the Republican defections from their party were Representatives Andy Biggs of Arizona, Dan Bishop of North Carolina, Eli Crane of Arizona, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, . . . Matt Rosendale of Montana . . . [and Rules Committee Chair] Tom Cole of Oklahoma.
I was disappointed to read that the photo of Rand Paul protesting Schumer’s new Senate dress code by showing up to his office in a T-shirt and bathrobe was faked. OTOH, I am relieved that Senator Collins has not chosen to make good on her threat to come to the Capitol in a bikini.
However, if the senior senator from Arizona wishes to protest the dress code …

Later, when we were passing in file through the destroyed village," Malazhenski said, "I could see the dead bodies of the killed residents: men, women, children."
In a background check by U.S. officials on April 14, 1949, Karkoc said he had never performed any military service, telling investigators that he "worked for father until 1944. Worked in labor camp from 1944 until 1945."
However, in a Ukrainian-language memoir published in 1995, Karkoc states that he helped found the Ukrainian Self Defence Legion in 1943 in collaboration with the Nazis' feared SS intelligence agency, the SD, to fight on the side of Germany — and served as a company commander in the unit, which received orders directly from the SS, through the end of the war.
It was not clear why Karkoc felt safe publishing his memoir, which is available at the U.S. Library of Congress and the British Library and which the AP located online in an electronic Ukrainian library.
It's only "not clear" if you follow the first rule of the Party, which is to ignore the evidence of your eyes. Anybody who chooses to open their eyes knows that Ukraine is quite sympathetic to Nazi collaborators, and that a great part of their hatred for Russia has do do with Russia's role in defeating Hitler.
But sure, send them more weapons. These people are doing the Lord's work.

The plywood art from the aftermath of riots is being preserved. https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/a-minnesota-organization-is-archiving-plywood-art-created-after-the-murder-of-george-floyd/
I note with sick amusement that the preservation is of "murals from the uprising that were created in the wake of George Floyd’s murder in 2020." And here I thought the plywood panels were installed in broken windows created by rioters. No, the murals were created by the uprising, per the new art curator of the collection!
The word riot appears nowhere in the story about the murals. Denying reality is a helluva drug!
I'm not surprised, or even upset that the Ukrainians greeted the Germans as their liberators from the Soviets in World War II. The Soviets did far more evil to Ukraine than the Germans did.
And for the record Communism is every bit as evil as fascism and is responsible for far more death and misery.
I bet half of those people condemning the Ukraine for "pro-NAZI" sentiments have Che Guevera posters on their wall.

Of all the names available, Ophelia is the most suitable for a depression.

Why is that even legal?

I think he learned to do that in the synagogue he said he attended as a kid.

A 98-year old was given standing ovation by the Canadian parliament during Zelensky's speech.
He was hailed as a hero for fighting against the Russians.
Yaroslav Hunk fought for the 14th division of the Waffen SS.
The Ukrainians and the Canadians are now OPENLY Praising the Nazi Waffen SS
Biden crossed himself because he thought he was meeting Satan, obviously.
