HAHAHAHA!

I purposely showed my husband this picture from the NYPost earlier this morning. We have so many questions.

The car suspension is not up to the task.

But, 'Murica!

The British papers print stories about the U.S. like we in the U.S. print stories about Florida : )

Seems to be an entry in a parade related to a rodeo. Also seems to be a converted police car:

"Do you know why I pulled you over?"
"Yeah, sorry officer. I try to make him wear a seatbelt, but there's only so much I can do."

Versatility made the Crown Vic the choice for police departments across North America.

And that's no bull...

Why didn't he designate it as an emotional support animal?

That car looks remarkably capable of carrying that load. maybe the driver is himself a Watusi and only was taking the bull with him in case he gets thirsty on the drive. If you know the Watusi you will know what I mean.

I love Nebraska and will be vacationing there in October. Born in Nebraska but haven't been back in many years. Lovely people. Lots to do outdoors. Weather sucks, usually, but I am hoping for a big Nebraska thunderstorm so that my German wife can experience it. She has never seen the Missouri river either. She thinks the Rhein is a big river. It'll blow her mind.

I'd like to say hello to Begley while I am there.

Norfolk in Nebraska is pronounced 'Nor-fork' because it is situated on the north fork of the Platte river.

Looking forward to Runzas, steaks and fresh sweet corn, and long walks along the Missouri where one doesn't need to deal with pesky mountains like here in the Sierra Nevadas. The Henry Doorly Zoo is world class. But I'll be sad to see the spot where Johnny Rosenblatt stadium used to exist. Spent many a day there watching the Omaha Cardinals play. Met Curt Flood and Lou Brock when they played there. I was even introduced to Stan Musial there once.

Might even take in a Huskers game. I have the connections.
Go Big Red!

This may be a sign of a Hindu President coming to pass. Other than that I have no thoughts.

Nebraska. It's not for everyone.

Seriously, think of the difficulty and risk to get that bull into a car.

And the bull's name is Howdy Doody.

This is my state. And I do love it so.

What were the 'citable issues'?

My guess is that the 'bull riding' was not actually a problem (as in a law against it), but there were other issues?

Reminded me of an old song. The Orlons did it first, and best:

Wah, wah-a Watusi
C'mon and take a chance and get-a with this dance
Wah, wah-a Watusi
Oh, baby, it's the dance made-a for romance
(Shoo-bop, shoo-bop, ahh)

The Nebraska volleyball team played before 92,003 fans last night in the football stadium.

It was a world's record for attendance at a women's sporting event.

Now understand that Memorial Stadium last night was the third largest city in the state. People drove from all over to see that event. And it was on TV.

I consider that event another example of the uniqueness of Nebraska. Nebraskans love their college sports, reward excellence and are very proud of female athletes. Nebraska is a volleyball hotbed.

Now the Corn just needs a football team half as good as its volleyball team.

I was more of a Rootie Kazootie fan myself.

As a 5 year old my goal in life was to marry Polka Dottie.

And the bull's name is Howdy Doody

Obviously named by someone who spent a good deal of time walking behind it.

Just realized Ann had a Nebraska tag; amazed that I missed several posts. I miss lots of things about Nebraska (I knew from the age of about 5 that I would leave). When I was about 20 at UNL I woke early one saturday after a heavy snow and ran north on 14th until I was over the hill. I found myself in a prarie where in every direction it was white and the sky was white; there were no buildings, telephone poles, cars, visible wheat or grass. It was not snowing or foggy, but it was pure white in every direction and, of course, not a sound.
One of the coolest moments of my life.

I think there is huge wake up call coming for electric vehicles. Any engineer with a pencil, and a scrap of paper could have calculated the fall-out.

We have bison and cross-breed ranches here. You'll sometimes see trailers with them in them. Usually with roofs though.

Lowriders could add hydraulics to solve the suspension situation.

More from the AP.

"Rhonda Meyer told US92 that “Lee thinks he's a movie star” after the video of his traffic stop went viral, but that he's also a little shy.

Meyer said Howdy Doody is like a member of the family now, but she wasn't always wild about how much her husband spent on the bull over the years.

“The amount of money that he’s spent on this whole darn project between the car and the bull I could’ve had a brand new kitchen,” Rhonda Meyer said."

I’m pretty sure there’s a tag for each of the United States states. If one is missing, I can’t imagine which one it would be.

Likes to be noticed anonymously. Minor problem is stop signs and parking lots 'cause people always want to talk and ask questions and tell you about the watusi bull they, or their father, used to have.

What if they're roaming the countryside picking out heifers.
"Ya like that one?"
"moo".

"OK. We'll ask the rancher."

Sensibly, "warnings" were issued by the officers who conducted the traffic stop.
And, I suspect, selfies were taken.
