The latest LMFAO Ramaswamy story is so fantastically fucked up with multiple conspiracy theories that it is really hard to even figure out just what it is he was saying.
"I think it is legitimate to say how many police, how many federal agents, were on the planes that hit the Twin Towers. Maybe the answer is zero. It probably is zero for all I know, right? I have no reason to think it was anything other than zero," is what Ramaswamy told The Atlantic in a subscription article. The Atlantic is standing by the quote. And Ramaswamy isn't denying it.
Instead, Ramaswamy is pivoting; his staff claims, uh (!?), that Ramaswamy was talking about 1/6/21 instead of 9/11/01. Stay with me here now. Ramaswamy maintains that what he was saying makes sense because he was talking about "how many police, how many federal agents" were in the crowd of rioters on January 6, 2021.
I am not kidding you. Ramaswamy got his conspiracy theories mixed up.
So Vivek's crazed comment about federal agents "on the planes that hit the twin towers" wasn't so crazy because Vivek was talking about the federal agents that were fomenting the violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
Here is an interesting Billy Walters interview. Author Billy Walters talks about his book “Gambler: Secrets from a Life at Risk” and his relationship with Phil Mickelson.
He grew up in Munfordville, Ky., Hart County, where I'm from. He's just one year younger than me, but I never knew him.
It's not just that Democrats see Russia and Trump as a two-headed object of their pure inchoate hatred, as he seems to have just come to realize, but where he can't get to, because he refuses to accept how venal and utterly corrupted the Democrats are, and how Kiev has used the corruption of the Clintons and the Bidens and others to "wag the dog," to take control of US foreign policy, and to make their enemy, Russia, America's enemy. Why exactly do we hate Putin again? Honest answers only.
Once you see it, you can't unsee it, it's all one big mess, but it is hard to accept. The conscious mind can see it, but our inner self has been programmed to reject it, and our inner self is difficult to overrule, just with logic anyway, it will revert to "judgement," which has been shaped by endless hours of propaganda.

The Democrats are getting huge kickbacks from the Ukraine. $40 billion washes through Kyiv, and the laundered money pays for voter fraud right here in the States.
Oh my goodness. A State Department memo has come to light that contradicts Democrats' claims that Joe Biden was following official policy when he fired that prosecutor.
“Ukraine has made sufficient progress on its reform agenda to justify a third guarantee,” reads an Oct. 1, 2015, memo summarizing the recommendation of the Interagency Policy Committee (IPC) – a task force created to advise the Obama White House on whether Ukraine was cleaning up its endemic corruption and deserved more Western foreign aid.
Then there is this email, also obtained by Just The News:
The real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter's presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine b/c Ukrainians heard one message from us and then saw another set of behavior with the family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules," embassy official George Kent wrote to Yovanovitch in the Nov. 22, 2016, email marked "confidential."

I stream music from Amazon Unlimited, and they give me a Discovery Mix each week, based on their algorithms of what I've listened to. This song by Magnolia Electric Co. came up a couple of weeks ago. Jason Molina was the driving force behind the band, and was very much influenced by Neil Young & Crazy Horse, as I found out by listening to the rest of the songs from his catalog. He sings lead on all of the songs on this album, which was recorded in 2005, except this one: Jennie Benford sang harmony/background vocals on the rest of the album, but has the lead on this song. Her voice is kind of fragile but is perfect for this song. As someone who worked the night shift for 24 years, I can identify with the song. Jason Molina died in 2013 at the age of 39 due to multiple organ failure caused by alcoholism. There is a live version of this song on YouTube from his 2013 memorial concert, but I liked the recorded version better for sharing with you.
So Vivek, the "9/11 truther" believes that the account of 19 Saudi hijackers taking down the Twin Towers is utter nonsense! While "truthers" tend to disagree as to what the real story is, it can generally be said they believe the U.S. government and/or the Jews and/or anyone other than unhinged terrorists orchestrated the events of 9/11 in order to further their own dark and secretive agenda.
Vivek likes the commandeered airplanes filled with U.S. government agents committing suicide theory, I guess. And Chuck appears to be right, the whole it sounds like a conspiratorial QAnon story straight from 8chan. Ramaswamy obviously ignores the "Let's Roll" heroics over Shanksville, PA.

Chuck quotes Ramaswamy in Newsweek from the Atlantic... "I think it is legitimate to say how many police, how many federal agents, were on the planes that hit the Twin Towers. Maybe the answer is zero. It probably is zero for all I know, right? I have no reason to think it was anything other than zero," is what Ramaswamy told The Atlantic in a subscription article."
So Vivek is saying the 9/11 Fed conspiracy theory is bunkum. T Coddington Van Voorhees VII actually quotes this, yet wants you to believe he said the opposite.
In the Newsweek article that T Coddington links to, Ramaswamy goes on to explain that we know the theory is bunk because we have had 9/11 commissions that thoroughly investigated and found no evidence to support them.
In said article, Vivek then contrasts that with the 1/6 commission which has not investigated thoroughly, and asks those questions about 1/6.
Why try to claim Ramaswamy said the opposite of what he did and deflect from his main point?
WOW!!! Thanks for posting. Great article by Dr.Naomi Wolfe. She answers BUMBLE BEE'S question in her last sentence. She gets it.
"He was a bully. But I saw, I’ll confess, as he spoke, that he had been our bully — menacing, intimidating and threatening others on the world stage, with financial or military carrots and sticks, on behalf of what he saw as the wellbeing of the United States of America, and her inhabitants.
As I listened, I realized that I missed having someone in that role on the world stage.
I realized that my “hatred” was based on conditioning, repetition and propaganda. It was also a fact that this guy remained in many ways — to me personally — unlikable."
walter I mentioned that it was an essay in The Atlantic that was the original source for the quote.
You can (and in your case you should) go to The Atlantic if you doubt the provenance or accuracy of the quote. But it is paywalled, so that is why I didn't link it. It is also a very lengthy profile of Ramaswamy, while the Newsweek story (a) is shorter, directed squarely at the subject quote and (b) it also includes the Ramaswamy response; the response which did not deny the quote.
Anybody who thinks that it is impossible that the CIA knew about the 9-11 plot and did nothing is hopelessly naive. Personally, I think that bin Laden probably thought it up himself, right about the time that Bill Clinton attacked his camps, in a sovereign Afghanistan, with no declaration of war, BTW, with multiple cruise missiles, you know, to distract attention from Monica Lewinsky. There is a certain payback aspect of it.
Remember when we had bin Laden, and let him go? Twice? The second time at Bora Bora? The idea that bin Laden was a CIA asset of some kind is not that far fetched. Joe Biden actually argued against killing him in the situation room, which was only fair, because they found in the papers, after Biden was overruled, that bin Laden had actually ordered his men not to kill Biden, even if they got a clear shot, on the pretext that Joe Biden would do more harm to the US alive; Osama was prophetic in that case. We could easily have captured him, but instead we executed him on the spot, conveniently without a trial.
We will never know what really happened at that time, because the people responsible for the massive fuckups were responsible for the investigation; to suggest that we don't know the whole story is to state the obvious.
After the Newsweek story that I posted, Ramaswamy himself is now claiming that The Atlantic story DID in fact misquote him. Ramaswamy told Kaitlyn Collins on CNN that he asked for the interview recording from The Atlantic and they would not provide it to him.
I will be looking for more on this story. It is hard to imagine how The Atlantic inserted "9/11" and "the twin towers" into a quote about January 6 if that is what Ramaswamy actually said. Hopefully The Atlantic will respond quickly and authoritatively.
This Ramaswamy/conspiracy theory story is so strange. Actually, the story is easy enough to follow; Ramaswamy is really hard to follow.
Before Ramaswamy told Kaitlyn Collins on CNN that the quote was inaccurate, he told Semafor in a text message that he "didn't blame the reporter" and that it was a "very free-flowing conversation."
Rocco (to LLR-democratical Chuck): "Why try to claim Ramaswamy said the opposite of what he did and deflect from his main point?"

"Documents recently obtained from the National Institutes of Health suggest public health officials used inaccurate information and misrepresented medical research to advance their policy objective that masks prevent severe COVID-19 and virus transmission—despite opposing scientific evidence received from experts.
In a recently obtained letter (pdf) sent in November 2021 to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), top epidemiologist Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, and seven colleagues informed the agency it was promoting flawed data and excluding data that did not reinforce their narrative.
The letter warned the agency that misrepresenting data on trusted websites such as the CDC and the COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network—jointly created by the CDC and Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA)—would “damage the credibility of science,” endanger public trust by “misrepresenting the evidence,” and give the public “false expectations” masking would protect them from the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.
“We believe the information and recommendations as provided may actually put an individual at increased risk of becoming infected with SARS-CoV-2 and for them to experience a serious or even life-threatening infection,” Mr. Osterhom wrote.
The authors urged the IDSA to remove the suggestion that masking prevents severe disease from its website and asked the CDC to reconsider its statements about the “efficacy of masks and face coverings for preventing transmission of SARS-CoV-2.”
Much more at the link, including a link to the letter (heavily redacted) sent to the CDC.

It is 10:22 blog time and I have posted several brief follow-up comments relating to the Ramaswamy quote(s) in The Atlantic, and subsequent. All well before the last-posted comment at 8:22 blog time.
But my additional comments have not been posted, which has badly messed up the sequencing of comments on this page.
Oh wait; now my comments appear. Sort of postdated and out of order.
