"He’s a bitchy little man.... He’s a little fussy man...."

Says Tucker Carlson after Trump brings up Chris Wallace who, he says, is "probably not a friend of yours."

From the transcript of last night's interview.

Trump says Wallace "wanted to be his father, but he didn’t have the talent." And Trump reminds us that Chris Wallace cut Trump off when he tried to ask Biden — at the first presidential debate in 2020 — "Why is it that the mayor of Moscow’s wife is allowed to give you three and a half million dollars?"

Good question. So why did you not go after the Biden corruption in your 4 years? Oh, and why did you not go after the Clintons, as you promised? Why did you leave Chris Wray and his minions in place, and not clean house?

I wish I could be hanging out with Chris Wallace when he hears Tucker call him a bitchy little man. Wallace knows it's true. So do Tucker and Trump.

Why did the Bidens get $3.5 Million from the Mayor of Moscow's wife? The only reason someone like Chris Wallace would shut that down is because he is on the take as well.

We would be much better off if all Americans realized MSM people are shallow scum. Lying media liberals are people who have sold their souls.

The amount of people that watched the Tucker-Trump interview vs the GOPe debate is evidence many already know.

Trump did go after the Biden corruption in Ukraine, and they impeached him for it. Don't you remember? He fired Comey and stirred the hornets nest. He successfully exposed the corruption of our deep state to hundreds of millions of Americans. Only idiots believe in their benevolence.

Funny how it was one man [Trump] against a corrupt establishment and you're pissed he didn't single handedly take them down. It's going to take a lot more than one man, but Trump is the only one out there fighting these sick people.

You want Trump to use the same totalitarian lawfare against his political enemies that they are now using against him.

I'm going to highlight Trump's poor quality spoken-word grammar. Did he pass the 6th grade?

Trump:
"So you have MSNBC and you have CNN who’s absolutely doing no ratings at all."

Trump:
"Well, I don’t want to really use names, but it wouldn’t matter too much. A guy like, I call him Ada Hutchinson, it’s Asa, but I call him Ada."

Donald Trump (03:12):

"You know, I could tell you, but I don’t want to get myself in a little trouble. But he’s weak and pathetic and I never understood the guy. I never knew him. He was the governor of Arkansas. I did… Not a very popular guy. I don’t know how, at that state, is such a great state. The people are so incredible. In that state and they love me and I love them. How does this guy get elected Governor of Arkansas? But he’s nasty always, and has been. "

(Trump takes on an easy target - call him names - and then says he never knew him. Nasty? How boring)

Trump:
"A lot of people say she has to remain for certain reasons, the candidate. "

Trump promised to go after Hillary - then didn't. What an asshole.
That alone should disqualify him. Instead- his base is leg tingle all the way.

I think that's true of many politicians. It was certainly true of Obama and of Hillary.
If you didn't like Obama you were assumed to be racist. If you didn't like Hillary, you were put in the dreaded basket.
Now if you do like Trump you are assumed to be a deplorable, irredeemable racist. In fact, you don't even have to like him. It's enough if you won't hate him.

Regardless of how our politicians think and how they want us to think, do you and I have to divide the world into who likes Trump and who doesn't like Trump? Maybe we're the problem because we all fall for that trick.

Explain, precisely, with your RINO's joined at the hip with the Dems and deep staters (and still are) and threatening to impeach and remove Trump before he even took office, how Trump could have "gone after Hillary".

Give us a step by step.

Then, when you realize you cannot do it, go ahead and explain why it is DeSantis cant even convince the non-Trump supporting GOP voters to support him for the nomination.

Then, when you realize you can't even do that, explain how it is DeSantis could ever win over the diverse, working class and rural voters that made the "Blue Wall" competitive.

HBTPFH: ""Rhonda Sanctimonious" what an immature dick. I want more from my leaders."

Considering your years long avoidance of holding the dem-allied GOPe accountable in any way, I'm gonna have to call BS on that one...unless of course the GOPe IS delivering what you want from your leaders.

Given your unbridled and unrestrained and free-flowing hatred for Trump supporters, that would certainly make sense.

I suspect in response to this we can look forward to another incoherent stream of consciousness insult fest against those darn bitter-clinger deplorable listless-vessels that probably shop at walmart frequently.

I have spent the morning watching the interview and reading the debate transcript, and my conclusion seems obvious- the primary race is already over- Trump will be the nominee unless someone kills him or he drops dead of a heart attack.

Like it or not, Republican/conservative voters are going to face a choice next year- you either line up behind the man being persecuted by the Deep State, or you line up behind the Deep State itself and take the electoral drubbing next year like good little citizens. There are no good outcomes here- nominate Trump and he will lose in an avalanche of fraudulent mail-in-votes or nominate someone else like DeSantis and lose in an avalanche of fraudulent mail-in-votes. Ethically and morally, for me, the choice is clarified this morning, though I suspect Republican voters might learn more losing with DeSantis than they will losing with Trump.

Shhhh!

You are going to upset HBTPFH!

Dont you know that all GOP problems for the last 50 years to the present are all the fault of Donald Trump and that no other factors even merit a mention?

Once Trump is removed from the race, and he will be with Full GOPe Support, the GOP can look forward to regressing to the 2008/2012 mean.

After the 2012 disaster (but Romney was so articulate, wasnt he HBTPFH?), the GOP did their famous post-election post-mortem on What Went Wrong.

Conclusion: republicans needed to make significant inroads with Latinos and working class Americans.

Which is precisely what Trump brought to the table, in his own unorthodox unique manner.

Do you know which Trump supporting demographic subgroups are most amenable to the America First agenda?

Latinos...and the working class.

And now the GOPe is killing them off like they did the Tea Party...while working with the dems to remove Trump...which they will do.

Except it wasn't over - her Steele dossier continued to cause problems, costing us money, creating a distrust of the president, and interfering with Trump's ability to get any work done.

It was a mistake to think it was over just because the election was over. His other mistake was thinking that philosophy worked both ways.

The most discouraging thing about last night's debate and this campaign season so far is that, when it comes to Trump, the only thing that seems to matter to the other GOP candidates is that he's "unpresidential" or lacks the character or visceral personal traits of a traditional dem or GOP candidate. They never, ever get around to talking about his policies and how they would affect America and Americans. It's always just about Trump the individual and their reaction to him.

I'm not a huge Trump fan, but if the choice is between him and totalitarianism, societal collapse, and economic ruin -- which is the path we're on if the dems win the election, I'll take Trump in a heartbeat. What sane person wouldn't?

The mere fact they're focusing on Trump's "character" tells me that these other candidates don't appreciate the fact that the left is well on its way to destroying America as we know it.

I'm sympathetic to the argument that Trump is the wrong candidate because there are too many people who'll never vote for him. What gets me, however, is the other candidates' stated or implied belief that those voters would be CORRECT in not ever voting for him. IOW, they're suggesting that Trump is so unacceptable that even Biden, with all of his character and fitness problems (including his cognitive issues), AND with his almost sadistically destructive policies, still represents a more sensible choice for president if it comes down to that. WTF?

Drago said...

The role Chris Wallace played at that moment in an important debate is worth mentioning in terms of Biden's lies and the media/govt corrupted coverup.

Perhaps Trump should simply have surrendered immediately like Romney did for Candy Crowley and then promised to never mention it again.

That WOULD be the "respectable", "presidential", "honorable" GOPe thing to do....which apparently many folks seem to desperately long for.

Interesting push/pull between only Trumpers and RW Trump critics in the thread. But the only Trumpers aren't taking the argument seriously. Yes, they impeached him for asking about an investigation of Biden. There's the rub. He just asked about it. He didn't order it, he didn't appoint a pit bull to lead it and follow up with accountability for the appointed investigation team. All of which was in his power to do. Had he, Biden likely would have been facing charges. But Trump is incompetent as a manager.
He talked about draining the swamp. But hired people who undermined him. And didn't hold them accountable. Only Trumpers correctly note the extent to which his own party failed to support him. But give him a pass for aggressively insulting some of those people in public instead of trying to win them over. And how he engaged in behavior and speech which was repellant to a lot of swing voters and would naturally drive some politicians to distance themselves from him. There isn't any evidence that Trump has learned or grown as a leader. To the contrary, he's obsessed with revenge to the exclusion of other very important issues. Two republican candidates have specifically outlined what and how they would drain the swamp. Even now Trump offers nothing but platitudes on the subject.
And Trump could easily lose to Biden in'24.

I enjoyed the interview and thought Trump came off as more thoughtful and subdued than usual. I think Tucker kept goading him to trash Pence, Barr, etc. and go real hard against Biden. But Trump was fairly mild (for him) in his comments.

I wish Tucker had asked more about Ukraine or Immingration/border crisis, instead of going to a wacko conspiracy about epstein getting murdered or ghoulishly talking about how the D's might result to assassination if jailing Trump doesn't work out.

On the whole it was an hour well spent. Tucker is really better at confronting pols or interviewing people who have done investigations. Just chit-chatting with people he agrees with isn't his forte.
