I pointed out then that Zero Hedge had obviously lied when they claimed that Ukraine had signed the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, and that two minutes research would have proven they lied. Gilbar never had the decency to correct or even acknowledge his error, even when reminded, which shows that he doesn't mind repeating lies.

My wife had never heard of the stuff, but I have, and it has been sold here for a long time.

The grieving parents were expressing their dismay at the lack of regulation and quality control, and apparently the American Kratom Association (no, really) agrees that having some standards would help prevent harm.

But what struck me was the fact that before and after the Kratom Panic story, there were commercials for extremely powerful pharmaceutical wonder pills and jabs, with paragraphs of disclaimers and warnings about side effects up to and including sudden death.

wildswan said...: It's very hard to interpret videos from another country. You see a man being hustled into a car by soldiers - captions claim that this man was Ukrainian draft dodger. But was he? Was he a Russian spy? Was he a spotter for Russian drones? Was he a criminal whose crimes were committed in the military? It's all so hard to interpret.
Another instance. A Russian General circulates a statement on Telegram which says that the army in the Ukraine is not getting counter battery support against Ukrainian artillery and consequently is suffering huge losses. He loses his job as a General at once, which I take to mean he was telling the truth. But what was he saying? Has Ukrainian artillery got all its ducks in a row in the trenches and is registering on them and wiping them out. Is this why cluster bombs are wanted? But why don't the Russians flee when they know a gun is registered on them? Would they be shot if they left their position. Would they break and run if they were allowed to leave their position? He escaped from the top floor of the exercise yard. The "yard" had a chain link fence for a roof that had a hole in it. Said escapee climbed on a pull-up bar, through the hole and bed sheeted his way down the other side. It was captured on video, but missed by the guards.

Our rural county is mostly woods and hills. A barking dog alerted the homeowner, who saw the bad guy and called 911. The State Police SERT team created a large perimeter and closed in on him. He gave up (unarmed surprisingly) without incident. When questioned, the State Police spokesman said he will not be returned to the local jail (ha).

Quoting peer-reviewed papers on bio-weapons research regarding programs we have long known exist, and the US funds in foreign nations, that would allow for the systematic targeting of specific groups of people based on shared genetic traits is not anti-semitism.

And there is already a great deal of information that the SARS2 virus appears to be less lethal for some groups (ex's Asians/Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews) vs others (caucasians).

This technology push is so well known it was the very basis for the plotline in the last Bond movie...but accelerated so that actual individuals could be mass targeted without harming others.

Just think about what the world would look like if that bio-tech was fully developed and weaponized. Do you really think the Covid Nazi's would hesitate to use it?

This is precisely the sort of research our establishment "betters" are funding at dual-use research labs run by our potential enemies.

There seems to be quite a few Fauci/Gates types intent on getting the world population down to their preferred target # of just 500 million.

Is gilbar unaware that Ukraine was one of biggest exporters of grain to the Third World until Russia invaded, stole huge areas of farmland, mined others, and cut off irrigation in others by blowing up the Nova Kakhovka dam, and that they continue to threaten the ships exporting grain from the free parts of Ukraine? The fact is that millions in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia are in danger of starving because of the Russian invasion, and the sooner Ukraine wins back those lands, clears the mines, and rebuilds the many dams (not just N.K.) that the Russians blew up, the sooner the world food supply will recover. And the story even mentions this in the 7th and 8th of its very short paragraphs. Did gilbar even read the story?

Of course, gilbar still has not even acknowledged my proof (link in my 7:54pm comment) that the last time he linked Zero Hedge, it was an easily-proven bald-faced lie, and that therefore neither he, nor Zero Hedge, should ever be believed in anything they say about Ukraine. And there is no evidence that the films of young men being arrested were even filmed in Ukraine, or that (if they were) the arrestees are not drug dealers or pickpockets or other common criminals. Cool thing about the web: you can find out all kinds of detailed information, for instance that the license plate in the video, beginning with AA, is a Kyiv license plate. (Wikipedia has a long and well-illustrated article on "Vehicle registration plates of Ukraine".) Vinnytsia license plates begin with AB or KB. Why would the "local military auxiliary command" have non-local plates?

I'm sure someone who knows Hungarian and Ukrainian and knows how to search for reused images and videos and detect photoshops could find more evidence showing who was arresting whom, where, and why.
